Jashin and the Eighth Gate

So...something was recently brought to my attention. You're a Jashin, you're immortal by all means, aside from other Jashin killing you with some tech or whatever. You've got the gates, which doesn't mold chakra against the teachings. Now the fun part...

You pop Eighth Gate. You're immortal. Do you live or die?

I guess. But...another question. What if I have the gates before becoming a Jashin?

You could have the gates before joining the religion, but you cant use them as long your immortal. If you opened the gates you would lose the jashin immortality tech, thus no longer protecting you from death.

Even if you were still unable to die, the 8th gate destroys your body to make the energy right? so you might be unable to die but your body would be destroyed?

I don't think you lose immortality, you just lose the ability to break past the gates.

Theoretically, you would probably "die" because it would rip your body to shreds, right? I think the eighth makes you completely like, energy or something doesn't it? I mean, they can't join the gates, and if you had the gates before you joined the religion, I'm assuming you just forfeit them for the ability to be immortal.

If you wanted to use the gates as a Jaishin, you could just get the Rage series from Brawler ( if its available to you), which is similar minor the speed boost (or movement boost whatever).
