Rin disposed of the food she had bought along fairly quickly, and was now spending time enjoying the salty smell of the sea, the crisp wind through her hair and the wet spray of the ocean on her face. Being on the deck of the old vessel was definitely enjoyable. It was then that Rin thought back on her meeting with the receptionist at the tower. The lady had mentioned her husband, but Rin hadn't been paying attention at the time. Was that Ace's wife? Rin thought to herself. When she thought really hard on it, the woman had a noticeable bump in her belly area. Pregnant too? Rin thought, confused. Ace had been busy. Rin made her way below decks to take a nap on one of the bunks, hoping to be well rested upon her arrival.
Later on, while she was sleeping soundly, the captain of the wooden ship came below. "Hey you!" He said loudly. "We're here. Wake up." Rin sprung up quickly out of the bed, adrenaline pumping automatically in her veins as a result of several years experience of being a professional ninja and being suddenly awoken. When she realized it was just the captain she calmed down, her hand edging away from her butt bag. Rin quickly made her way up the old stairs, striding out onto the deck and taking in the view. She had never been here before, but things looked busy, no doubt in preparation for the chuunin exams. "Thank you." Rin mumbled to the captain as she made her way off the ship.
