Trailing the guard who lead Aaron to his rendevious pount, Aaron took in the sights, shifting the Medium sized gourd on his back while soothing the bees inside. Filled with a thriving colony of Asian Giant Hornets and their subspecies, he pitied whoever disturbed them. With the goggles sitting above his head, updated with the thermal vision, no creature would get the jump on him once equipped.

Stopping under a pole holding some type of loud speaker, Aaron made out an assortment of sweets and snacks, even bottled water. Shuffling his pouches, Aaron felt his lockpick kit clang against the skeleton key. No lock would stop him. Housed around his waist, he felt for his 5 thermal capsules and 7 tremor stones, coming across a flashlight he had almost forgotten. With the wide gate in front of him and a fortified wall as far as the eye could see, he may need every bit of his survival gear. Once they entered, was there no escape until it ended?

Aaron didn't know, but as his mind rationalized the anger bottled up continued simmering. Perhaps he would have to kill the guards? Spying only ten, Aaron felt for his weaponry, reassuring himself that the bundled 26 feet of wire was secure as was his 6 smoke grenades and 8 exploding tags. Scattered among the many pouches of his bag, he reassured himself about his 11 hira-shuriken and 2 blood clot pills, though heaven help him if he needed that. Feeling only a single stun grenade, exploding pouch and Kaen no Gikami, it could have been worse. It was bad enough he had forgotten to restock on kunai. He had the instruments needed to kill, but did he have enough? It was too late now for any changes. Still if he needed to he would take out all the guards. Most carried heavy weapons emphasing their strength and probably taijutsu abilities. He could take them. Yet he did not want trouble.

Under his form fitting forest green robe, he had already equipped tactial gloves and pads for both his elbows and knees. It wasn't much in the way of defense but it would suffice. Seeing the dirt pile, Aaron thought of armoring up but decided it best to wait until he knew more.

Taking another look at the snacks and water, Aaron tried putting 2 and 2 together. A gated fortress leading to a tree filled land. The exam would obviously take place inside. Since it wasn't a building or classroom, there would probably be no written part like last time. Oh how that examiner had irritated him. Aaron almost snapped the pen he lifted from the registration table. He had forgotten he held it, his hand clenched so tight. Shoving it in a pouch, Aaron stretched his legs. This was probably going to be a combat or survival exercise given the bottled water and non-perishable snacks to sustain the participants. He began a light work out eying the snacks again in the process.

Deciding what he wanted, he would ask one of the nearby guards if the food was for him. You never knew in the exams, sometimes they expected you to just take it, other times it was a trap. Still no other Stone ninja showed up leaving the entire spread to himself. They obviously expected more stone ninja than who showed. If he got the okay or other signal, Aaron knew what he'd take. He'd fill his bag with 6 bottles of water verifying the seal was intact, some crackers, several packs of gum and candy, a blended trail mix, and several energy bars. Of course only the items in bags that looked untouched. The last thing he needed was to be poisoned. Later on he'd test it out with his bees.

As he decided on what he'd take and waited for an answer, the loud speaker went off. It seemed things were coming to a head. The fiery stone ninja burning with anger and passion was ready. He would pass this exam and slay anyone in his way.

(Sorry for the late reply. I wanted everyone to get along and communicate with one another and try to Start a little roleplay if you hadn't started as a team. Now that people have gotten their formalities taken care of we can move onto the needy gritty.)

"Test test," the voice over the loud speaker spoke again. "Is this thing on?" the old raspy voice continued. "Ah, good, greetings ninjas of various Villages. It is a pleasure. My name is honestly not important but what I have to say is. Look to your left, and to your right, the people that came with you are part of your team. Ain't that grand? I hope all villages sent more than 1 person or else this could honestly be a little...troublesome" he spoke in a calculating form. "This Chuunin Exams will be a simple one, an easy one of sorts if you like to believe. There will be no tournament, no written exams, no pesky chakra shielding floors or seals. It will be a 1 test, 1 simple retrieval mission. Behind those walls, behind that door is a temple, inside the temple is a very special herb. Anyone who comes back with that herb will be eligible to become a Chuunin for your respected Village. That's it. Simple no? That's all you need to do. Go in this lovely little forest, reach the temple, find this special herb that is about a foot high with rainbow colored pedals, and bring it back. I know what you are all thinking, easy right? Of course it is. You see we don't want to make things very difficult for everyone. We understand how hard and difficult it is to be a Ninja and we just want to make sure it is as simple as humanly possible. We hope to see you soon. Oh, and to know what's going on we set up security cameras throughout the forest and temples just so we can know where you are all at, at all times."

There was a moment of pause for a few seconds before the old man spoke once more. "Oh you may start when those doors open, just give a minute and we'll open the gates, and you can go right on in and scamper off. Have fun kiddies." he said before finishing with a hardy laugh.

Well no one objected so Aaron pocketed the previously mentioned items from the table plus a little extra. It seemed the exam was about to begin. Furious but excited, conflicting emotions swirled about his mind. These examiners would not screw him over this time. He would make sure of it.

Compared to most exams the description of what he sought seemed easy. Too easy. Simple questions came to mind. Why build a fortified wall around a simple plant? What else lay inside?Surely if the plant itself was not dangerous, some dangerous creature lurked inside waiting to prey on the flesh of unsuspecting victims. Aaron was no fool. Hidden dangers no doubt lurked everywhere.

Deciding to play it safe, the items he wanted pocketed, Aaron called out, "I'm preparing myself" before forming a set of seals over the dirt field. His hand slammed the ground, chakra flowing into the earth, hardening it to titanium toughness. Lifting his hand upward, the edge of a staff would be barely visible, beginnging to rise up. When these gates opened, he would be fully armed and guarded, ready for what was to come. Aaron called out, "Let's start this thing." He would emerge victorious.

The Titanium hard earth he had been fusing the past several seconds finally finished coming together into a seven foot staff, his for the taking. Giving a few practice swings, Aaron felt ready. He was a warrior about to face his greatest trial for the ?6th? time.

An echoing beep brought Aaron's attention to the gate, slowly rising like the entrance to a forbidden fortress of hell. What awaited within? He did not know but there was no way the exam would be as simple as the gent on the speaker made it seem. He stood by himself, no other contestants around even though he'd seen several platoons by the registration area. From past experience, Aaron surmised that all villages had their own entrance and would potentially meet inside. Perhaps a race against time? Approaching the entrance, he saw nothing but pine trees, a multitude of variation. He could use this. There had to be at least one species of bees he could harness in this forestry wonderland.

Yet before he stepped inside, there was one last piece of business. Turning to the guard by the gateway who seemed the most nervous and most likely to talk, Aaron asked, "What're you afraid of?" If he hesitated, Aaron would add, "Come on, you can tell me. You'd hate to have a death on your conscience." The nervousness and the calming words of the other guards had told him something lurked within. Was it a plant or animal? Elemental or trap? His voice would be as convincingly innocent as possible. He needed as much information as he could gain. The first rule: Know your enemy. He'd have an advantage if he knew some of the dangers.

Once he learned what he could or if the guard remained silent and Aaron couldn't get him to talk, he would enter. Expecting the door to shut behind him, Aaron wouldn't be surprised if it did. Yet once inside a few meters, facing North and using the staff to tap the ground in front of him, Aaron released several swarms of bees from his body. One swarm would fly above the tree line to tell him what they could see from above while the other swarms would spread out in a 50 meter perimeter able to alert Aaron to dangers and inform him of what they see. Hopefully they'd spy other natural bees in this environment and be able to learn something about this temple or dangers. He needed to find this temple fast. At least his knowledge of bee species told him that they do live in this climate, even if they're not as formidable a species as the one's in his homeland.

Aaron would wait to hear from his bees before advancing deeper. Visibility seemed limited to about 10 meters. Thank god he had bees to expand his vision and working ears to listen for danger. With a staff to guard him, he was as ready as he could be.

Doton: Tsue no Jutsu (Earth Staff Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: With this type of technique the user is capable of performing a few seals, and is capable of reaching to the very ground, letting the earth form together as it creates the feel and notion of a staff that can reach the size of seven feet in length made out of the very earth fused with the very chakra of the user.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Takes up a round to perform.
Description: The user performs a few handseals as they suddenly slam their hand against the very ground. As the user does so they push their chakra down deep into the ground as they fuse the ground together making it stronger then it once before. As the user lifts their hand up into the air the user keeps hold of the very ground and a staff is quickly formed along the very ground. The staff is fused with the user's chakra and is capable of being used for multiple reasons, one of course is for the usage of hand to hand combat.

Turning to the guard by the gateway who seemed the most nervous and most likely to talk, Aaron asked, "What're you afraid of?" If he hesitated, Aaron would add, "Come on, you can tell me. You'd hate to have a death on your conscience."

The guard looked over to the young man, he was about the same height as Aaron. He shuffled slightly as he gave a shrug. "Sorry I'm not allowed to give any information as what deals inside. If you die inside I am in no way held responsible. I hope you understand. He felt bad for the kid, he knew that the kid was trying to fish for information, but this was something that the kid could not know. This type of situation happens all the time in the Ninja world, to go into a place or deal with a situation where they know nothing about and must rely only on their own tactics and skills.

As Aaron would enter the gates did indeed close behind him. They locked in place. In this area Aaron would not see anyone within the fifty meter perimeter. Actually the bees would not report anyone specific. There would be a few animals here and there, like a rabbit 20 meters to the north hiding in the high grass, and a family of deer to the west about 40 meters down eating the grass. The trees were thick all around. Every 2 meters was another tree. The trees would reach high into the air approximately the same height as the walls and spread out. There would be a lot of ground to move through.

At this current point there would be no natural bees as there were no flowers of any kind except thick bushes and woods.

(Let me know what direction you go, north, south, east, west. More you post the better because the fast you'll move. It's a massive area so don't be surprised if you don't see anything for a little bit, but keep in mind that there's other ninja around here as well. Personally I like how you're going about this. Very nice. You should be alright)

Damn. Even with coaxing Aaron could not get the information he wanted from the guard. Loyal to his duty, he could not fault the guard irritating though it may be. Even so, Aaron's mind flashed to jutsu he'd heard about that would make a man talk. Alas he knew no such jutsu himself.

As the bees fanned out, the gate closed behind him. Not very surprising considering the walls formed what appeared to be an impenetrable fortress. Yet their closing, triggered something in Aaron's mind. The loud speaker had said to retrieve a flower and bring it back. The key being bring it back. Upon completion of a quick set of seals, a bee would fly out from him and impact a tree in front of the gate, leaving an unappealing wax dot. This way no matter what happened, he would be able to find his way back toward the gate he entered from. It'd be a gamble, but he assumed if he had the herb the gate would open. Of course he could always chakra walk up and over the wall. Now he would not be lost on his return.

As the report came in from his bees, Aaron contemplated his options. Both a rabbit and a deer, neither one useful and with trees towering high overhead the aerial view had proven worthless. No native bees had yet been found. So where was the temple? If he were a temple housing a prize that an army of ninja sought, where would he be? Obviously in the middle somewhere where a grand battle could potentially break out. From his past exam experiences and the announcer's own words about monitoring, they must have a viewing area somewhere for spectators. What better spectacle than a location where fighting would break out.

With a sigh he'd direct the bees to maintain their 50 meter perimeter, releasing extra swarms to cover his flank, as he left the wall behind. Hopefully, he'd come across flowers of some sort to track a source of bees. Otherwise the bees would maintain their function of providing Aaron with information as he headed toward the center, due north. Assuming he came across a patch of stone and his bees reported no threats, Aaron would form another set of seals to bring up the earth around him, enveloping his body, tanning it a darker hue. Given his knowledge of earth jutsu, it would have a strength far beyond its own, the strongest one could make it.

When would something happen? He did not know but Aaron would push on, hoping to be the first to the temple, his senses alert. After all, he most likely had the best tracking and most angles of view outside of the eye users.

Description: This technique makes earth-chakra flow through the body, absorbing the properties of stone around the user to form a skin-deep armor that is transparent yet reflects light with a metallic-like gleam. Despite encasing the user�s body, the armor has no apparent affect on the user�s speed or agility. The armor is shown to be able to defend from all forms of blunt-force trauma. At the same time, it enhances the user's strength for more powerful physical strikes and break free or through restraints and walls.

[Hooray! An Examiner. Let's get things moving]

Using his staff as a walking stick, Aaron deftly maneuvered between the trees as reports from his bee vanguard came in. The tree filled landscape remained little changed, but the bees had spotted a fox acting strangely. It stared north before scampering west; startled or perhaps afraid of something? Followed quickly by a discovery of broken branches and foot prints, Aaron knew he was onto something.

Still, he stood at a disadvantage. Obviously more than 2 people had passed by. He surmised it must be a team, considering he'd not come across any other signs of human life. Most likely a team of ninja, it could also be several people already placed in here just for the exam. He couldn't know for sure, but they went the same direction he planned - North, towards the middle of this tree filled paradise. His hunch about a battle in the middle sounded even more plausible.

Horribly outnumbered, Aaron had several things going for him. He could follow in their foot steps headed North minimizing his presence and damage to the terrain. It'd now be harder for people to track him. They would no doubt think he was part of this big group. They had also cleared a slight path for him to follow minimizing the effort he needed to progress forward and letting him make good time. Dangerous, but he'd accept the risk. He felt the goal lay this way and if he had to overtake these people to obtain victory he would. But first Aaron had an idea. While the bees continued to maintain their 50 meter perimeter and on the lookout for flowers that may signal the presence of bees or bees to communicate with, Aaron dispatched a couple from the vanguard to fly even farther forward ahead of the pack. They would be early scouts. Too many bees and people may grow suspicious but a couple bees by themselves would be perfectly natural in this environment and perfect for spying.

One other idea crossed his mind before advancing. Aaron would mask his scent. He had already armored his body in a titanium hard coat of stone native to this area. This would of course negate most of his scent but for an added measure he'd take some of the pine needles from a couple different trees and lightly rub them on parts of his armored body and clothes. From the last exam, he had seen a little girl with a wolf. He knew Ninja animal companions usually had a strong sense of smell and by negating it, Aaron would hopefully be able to get the drop on this group he followed. A gust of wind also told him he was currently downwind of the direction he headed. He didn't know how long it would take or how far, but if these people kept going the same direction he planned, he would eventually overtake them. After all, they had opened a path. Ever alert, Aaron would proceed North after this mysterious group.

(Slightly different, mostly going to be a list of stuff, except for things that may be important, like the interaction)

The terrain hasn't really changed much for Aaron. Trees still around, it's a boring forest. At this time the Bees could not really find anything at all, probably because they were keeping a nice long distance away from whatever it is that Aaron was following. Since there was nothing of interest it be best to just continue along the same straight path (Unless Aaron wants to change directions which is honestly absolutely fine).

Going forward another 100 meters his bees would suddenly pick something up 50 meters ahead of Aaron. Some of the bees up ahead would see something off in the distance. The closer Aaron would get the closer the Bees would get.

Finally after bobbing and weaving through the trees the Bees ahead would finally be able to catch something. Finally they would see exactly what Aaron was pursuing.

A few of the bees would be able to see, a group of 5 creatures heading towards the north. He'd see 2 creatures that looked similar to one another. Perhaps twins? Perhaps not, more so that they had the same "stature", or "class". Small creatures that are approximately 3 and a half feet in height. They were wearing bone helmets with loin cloths crimson in color while wielding a bone staff. They had long pointy ears, with showy teeth, and a flat nose, with a green skin tone. Their eyes were darting in all directions as they hunched over, growling, gnarling.

Another creature was 3 feet tall in height with extremely long ears and nose. Same color as the previous creatures. It was wearing nothing of value but a simple loin cloth. They had on items on them. It was crackling as it stood between the other two creatures.

Behind the crackling creature was one 4 feet with dark green skin creature. It was wearing a helmet and armour that's worth 4,000 Ryo if bought for full price. It was carrying a light wooden shield with a mace. It was a stoic creature, dragging a carcass of a deer behind it, showing strength for its size.

Standing about 3 meters behind the mace wielder was a creature taller than the others. He reached about 4 and a half feet tall. They wear rusted armour that's worthless in the open market but tend to carry a decent bow with a pack of normal arrows. Underneath the armour is normally fur clothing, also useless in the market. His eyes darted all around as he would see a bee hovering in the air. Greatly started it reacted quickly removing its bow while drawing an arrow at the same time. "P''k, O rud' P''k," it yelled in a language not understandable to Aaron.

Before releasing its arrow a flame, would rush towards the Bee, to engulf it. The flame was a ball of fire not more than a foot in size as it rushed towards the bee in great speed.

Aaron continued North, tracking his elusive foes. The bees would see a platoon consisting of several small green creatures half his height and several more brutish figures. Never before had Aaron seen such creatures nor heard of a ninja clan with pointy ears and green skin. This was no ordinary place.

The bee swarm perimeter would halt when the vanguard first sighted the creatures, not willing to give up Aaron's element of surprise. The vanguard that continued ahead made out strange armored creatures wielding a range of weaponry. Continuing forward and acting like a natural bee, it went in for a closer look relaying more accurate information. Yet without warning one of the tallest brutes would spy the bee and open fire, shooting an arrow and a fireball. It would be a tragic end, but Aaron would keep the bee flying normally as a native bee would as it quickly incinerated with the remains shattered by an arrow.

The demise of the bee served a purpose, Aaron learning something about these creatures he tracked. They were not Shinobi of a hidden village. Furthermore, there could be no diplomacy. They spoke a language the bee did not recognize and opened fire upon a harmless creature without provocation. Their appearance and demeanor screamed carnivorous savage. Yet Aaron had a choice, he could ignore them and choose a different path or continue North, choosing to follow and/or engage. They had armor, weapons and outnumbered him with both melee and ranged abilities along with some Jutsu.

A hard choice, Aaron still made his decision quickly. If he left the creatures and the wind changed, given they appeared to be natural hunters and hostile, Aaron could be the one hunted instead. That left 2 choices, follow or engage?

For the same reason as the above, Aaron made his choice. He would fight them now and remove a hindrance before his presence would be known. The rear bees continuing the 50 meter perimeter, Aaron advanced passing by the full swarm of his forward army. He should still have the element of surprise, being downwind and his scent heavily masked.

Moving quickly but quietly, alert for twigs and branches that would make a noise if stepped upon, Aaron would work himself closer using the trees as cover. Making every effort to stay silent, the bees save one kept far enough behind him so their buzzing wouldn't alert the creatures, their hearing probably like that of an animal. Aaron would take cover behind a tree just under 30 meters from the furthest goblin, about 25 meters from the closest. The one bee he had come with him would observe nearby; much further away than the vanguard had been. If successful it was time to act.

Hopefully not noticed, Aaron doing all in his power to ensure his stealth, Aaron would attempt to form a quick set of seals causing the ground underneath the goblins to turn to a thick mud. Not directed straight at the goblins but instead the terrain, they would hopefully not notice the disturbance before it was too late. Given the size of the field it would be a challenge to dodge as all were within range of the technique. Using the bee with him as a scout and his eyes, Aaron would be using a tree as a guard.

If the goblins suddenly found themselves sinking in mud, Aaron would signal several swarms of bees forward to attack, going around their armor and aiming for vitals - head, groin and exposed flesh. A mad bee attack would hurt significantly, possibly be fatal, if successful, any struggle forcing the goblins deeper into the mud where they could also hopefully drown. Given the creatures were so short, they'd sink quicker than a normal person. While the bees attack and with the mud field around, Aaron would attempt another set of seals to call forth 16 mud clones out of the mud - his own army to wail on the creatures and as efficiently as possible slay them. It needed to be quick and clean, relatively speaking, three potential ways of dying - bees, drowning and clones.

If the bees attack, they would dodge and fly about as necessary to dodge attacks aimed at them while still trying to fulfill their goal. If for some reason, Aaron's attempt at stealth failed and the goblins turned on him, he'd still use his bee as an eye and attempt his jutsu for the goblins to get closer meant most likely they would enter his jutsu. After all it would be a big field and the above attack would continue as planned so long as Aaron had time to carry it out from safety, the tree his best defense.

Doton: Deido Bunshin no Jutsu (Earth Release: Mud Clone Technique)

Skill: Ninjutsu. Defensive, and Offensive.
Effect: Allows the user to create clones out of Mud.
Special: Dog, Rat, Boar, Ox.
Drawback: Needs a source of mud that can supply enough mud to make the desired amount of clones. Ex: If there is only enough mud to make four clones, you can't make eight. Only four.
Description: Using mud in the area, the user can create mud clones depending on his/her ninja rank/class. Because the clones are made of mud, they are more durable than most other clones. May take two hits to destroy instead of one. The personality of the clones depend on the users personality. The user can channel thoughts with the clones. The weight of the clones and amount of mud needed depends on the user's body weight. Finally, the user can control what the clones say, and control the clones actions.
D Ranked Ninjas: Up to 4 Clones at a time.
C Ranked Ninjas: Up to 8 Clones at a time.
B Ranked Ninjas: Up to 16 Clones at a time.
A Ranked Ninjas: Up to 32 Clones at a time.

Aaron planned on fighting an epic Chuunin fight, but it seemed to have been all a dream as Aaron's concentration returned once again to his battle with Iizuka.
