On the way to Waves! [travel/training]

Mae had longed to return to The Land of Waves to finish her Tensora training, she had had to srop training for a year as she was not old enough to live by herself or mature enough it seemed, to be away from her parents while still being a growing child.

She traveled from the capital Yozamu to the edge of snow country and boarded a small boat bound for the land of waves. The captain of the boat made idle chit chat with her as she found a seat and settled in for the long long ride.

With many hours to go by she figured she would work on her meditation, as to drown out the droning captain.

She knelt onto the floor of the boat, resting on her knees with her toes used as an arch to keep her feet angled to the floor. Her form had to be perfect to achieve this enlightenment. Set let her weight rest on the back of her heels as she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, allowing the muscles in her body to relax slightly with each breath.

She allowed her body to rock with the rhythm of the waves to, the tension on her body lessening with each wave. Mae soon fell into a trance like state, her breathing becoming minimal as endless thoughts in her mind soon quieted into a symphony of silence. The world seemed to stand still at this moment.

Mae felt disconnected from the world in this moment, a serene floating feeling overtaking her being. She thought only of training, perfecting her form as her teacher stood over her, unyielding in is discipline. Her breathing would be almost impossible to sense if not for the condensation from the cold climate illuminating her exhales.

Though this feeling seemed to last only a few seconds, she opened her eyes to see them pulling up into a another port.

The boat docked and Mae stood quickly, paid the man her ware and stepped off the boat. She had no time to lose getting to her masters dojo.

[enter] Mae returned to the pier luckily to find the boat still there. The capitan welcomed her aboard and she again entered her meditative stance as she completed the journey. The waves rocked the boat but it wasnt unpleasant. Withing hours then were back in snow, and Mae rushed off into town

Description: The user performs the handseals, thus coating their entire body in chakra. At that point, any time something tangible (minus whatever they’re walking on) gets within an foot of their body, a tiny burst of air will move out to block and try and displace the attack. This technique is used against object like techniques such as arrows, swords, or anything else materialistic in which is not a Jutsu. The burst of winds quickly rushes pushing out into the distance knocking all that gets close enough away from the user, to keep the user safe.

As the shield was now self sustainable and reflecting things, she had to learn to keep it active despite the chakra drain. With a last minute thought she coated her body with the shield and trudged on to the boat to return to her sensei and finish her apprenticeship training. She grabbed small twigs and rocks to toss up and test the shield when she go the chance.

The shield spun quickly, hugging her body tightly as she trudged through the snow. She noticed how long it seemed to be taking to get to the boat than usual, possibly the training area she had found was further out than she thought. Mae threw a twig up over her head, the shield lashing out at the twig for intruding in her vicinity. She exerted her chakra with all her strength to keep the shield active.

She tossed random items up as she walked, pebbles, twigs, snow even one of her boleadora she used repeatedly. The shield reflected the items flawlessly, though each time took a little longer, the longevity of the shield could use a little work it seemed. But that would have to wait till she was back at the land of waves.

She found the boat and boarded it quickly, taking this time to sleep as she traveled to the land of waves.

The boat that had brought her here was still docked at the pier, she was in a hurry. She walked quickly across the pier, the sound of her footfalls loud in the barren area. The captain greeted her once again, looking rather pleased to see a familiar face himself. As Mae got onto the boat she noticed a small map on the side of the cabin.

She walked over and placed her finger on her destination, a giant mass of land located to the northwest.

"Please take me to the land of fire."

Walking back with a sullen look upon her face, the captain of ever frequent boat she rode nodded his head in her direction as she boarded and slumped into a seat, resting her head back in disappointment in herself sand the events that never unfolded. Master would be very very displeased with her... Without much of a word the boat set off towards the land of waves carrying a distraught Mae back to her punishment at the hands of the Heir of Heaven Tensora.
