Slave Quarters
A place of rest and safety for the Slaves of the Amazon village, where they can hide from their matriarchal overlords without fear of being punished. In their quarters, they are unable to be harmed by any guards or women of the tribe above, it is one of the rules. By day they work and die, punished for failure or working too slowly, by night, they are protected by the walls of their shared room. There are five separate quarters, with no designated sleeping areas, so the males can choose where they wish to sleep. The quarters possess many hammocks for the men to sleep on, and there is plenty of fresh food, both meat and fruit for them to feast on. In order to keep them working efficiently, when growing food and stocking inventory, they are only given 10% of the stocks, so if they do poorly, there is less food for them to have each night.
These quarters are quite bright during the day, the wooden walls of the village letting in much light, but at night, the wild life is the source of the light, balls of fireflies collected on pods of honey to keep the world lit so people can still move around. There is no curfew, so the males may wander around out of the quarters after dark on the first floor, as long as the noise remains low, otherwise those found outside of the quarters are subject to dangerous punishments. The only reason an Amazon other than a prison guard would be required to entire these areas, is to pass a test to become a guard, or to escort a chosen male to the temple so he may be inducted as a breeder.
