Having wondered about what she could expect from their little arrangement, Yoshinee definitively didn't want to show up unprepared. The exploding tags had been spread evenly between her buttbag, vest and belt, making it possible for her to quickly access them during any situation. The hair had been arranged tightly into a pony tail, keeping her eyes free from the annoyance of stray hair. The light protective gear would keep the most vital areas slightly protected, while still allowing for free movement. The crimson eyes looked out the window. It had been snowing for most of the day, and still was. At least it wasn't enough to be called a storm... yet.

Buttoning the robe tightly around her figure, Yoshinee strapped her boots and left the appartment, making sure it was locked properly behind her. Traversing the snow in a gentle tempo, Yoshinee always made sure that she'd be the first to arrive. They had agreed on meeting outside the training grounds. Both of them properly eager to see what the other one was capable of. At least, Yoshinee couldn't wait to see the strenght of the collosal Hyuuga. As she suspected, he didn't appear to be around just yet. Closing her eyes, Yoshinee enjoyed these moments to think and ponder. A light blush went over her cheeks as she shook her head, clearing her thoughts.

...Instead of pondering too much, her attention quickly turned towards the road from which she expected he'd be coming. Then again, there was at least ten minutes till they had agreed to meet. Maybe this time she'd moved a bit too early..? At least it would be a shame to be a frozen popsicle when Tetsuya finally arrived.

If nothing else, the Hyuuga was punctual.

Heavy boots mushed the snow beneath the soles as he entered, the flurry of snow concealing the gargantuan figure of a man until he was clear of the snow's more potent influence. The terrain did nothing to cause falter in his step as he moved, those usual pools of lavender concentrated and beaming with anticipation. It was a testament to his endurance that he walked with his yukata shirt hanging around his waist, his torso fully exposed to the elements. And yet still, not a single inch of his epidermis was cold to the touch or yielding to the harsh and frigid element of the village. He had been born in cold abandon before, and this would be no different. The crimson ponytail of his crown swayed to and fro as he examined his surroundings, the utility belt around his waist fitting snug next to the elongated katana that hang at his side.

A smile etched itself across those full, unkissed lips as he spotted Yoshinee in the distance, a single arm raising in acknowledgement as he approached. The Snow headband across his forehead beamed against what daylight was presented, the large hulk of a man only stopping his approach when he was a meter or two away from his newfound acquaintance. His eyes met her own, his upper body bending so that he could bow deeply to her. "We meet again," he noted, his arms dangling at his sides. She was just as he'd remembered, no true feature sticking out aside from them being together here in this winter wonderland.

Tetsuya gave her a smile. "I see you got here a little early. Looks like you're ready to train." His body language spoke of compassion, yet tenacity. Kindness, and yet determination. Bravery, and yet maturity. He'd visited an acquaintance much earlier, reminiscing on the various sword styles that he could partake in with such an unmatched strength. Still, he'd politely wait for Yoshinee to choose the regiment of their training for the day. "I take it you're well?"

It had been a while before he arrived. In fact, it would appear that he was arriving right on the money. Not too early, not too late. It'd be near impossible to get more precise in his timing. A little feat that Yoshinee couldn't help but admire slightly. The way his body accepted the snow was remarkable. The cold, the wind, the snow. Everything more or less appeared to pass right through him. Almost exactly opposite Yoshinee who had herself packed tightly inside the warm robes, and still shivering from the cold.
Slowly turning, Yoshinee's lips crept into a soft smile to reply to his. The crimson eyes meeting the milk-white in a gentle greeting. Yoshinee slowly got up from the snow-riddled bench she had situated herself upon as he approached. Standing front towards him, their differences were easy to behold. The one of them covering their pressence and aura, hiding from the snow. The other beaming towards the world, almost asking for a challenge. A sharp red and black, in contrast to a lavender white.
"I'd be more surprised if we had not" Yoshinee responded in a kind tone, bowing back towards Tetsuya in a slow and careful manner. The area behind them was mostly empty, and a free trees were occupying the area.. It was obvious that Yoshinee had preferred for them to train away from curious eyes. Possibly due to the one who had been lurking around them earlier..?
"...I always arrive early. It lets me prepare and analyse. Since I am not gifted with a body like yours, I must make the most of my capabilities" Yoshinee said with a low chuckle, almost belittleing herself. There was nothing special about her at all. Although she didn't know much of the Hyuuga, she knew enough to know that his body held many more secrets. Glancing at her own hands for a second, she felt cursed. It seemed she had been born with only weaknesses, and had to make up for everything with a sharp mind. Once her mind could not keep up anymore, she'd probably be deemed a failure.
"Yes, I've been quite well. Been taking good care of myself.. How about you - you feeling up to par?" Yoshinee asked with a glimt in her eye. It would appear that she at least had some idea of wanting to pressure Tetsuya during their training.

He laughed softly at her words.

He wouldn't deny that his physique was one of an intimidating proportion; he was at the peak of physical condition, possessing flexibility as well as speed and strength to accentuate it. But while he was of great stature, his humility remained. The smile on his face was unmistakable as he addressed Yoshinee. "Hmm....so you've been admiring my body, have you?" he joked. His eyebrow raised in slight curiosity as he stepped back and shifted his weight onto one leg. Those massive arms rose to cross over his chest, an idle finger tapping along his bicep as if he had been waiting for an answer. Shaking his head lightly, he'd continue.

"Good to know that you've been taking care of yourself. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to go all out. The same could be said for you, I'm sure. I'm ready to go." His words couldn't be further from the truth. He was akin to a machine, oiled up and freshly produced to process and analyze what situations would come his way. He hadn't engaged his Kekkei Genkai's pride, however. He would merely wait until she was poised for battle, giving him the best that she had to offer while ensuring that he was doing the same. If they were to understand each other, then surely the battlefield was a place to speak in a different language.

But a feeling of protective intensity washed over him. He gazed down at the female before him, feeling a sense of closeness that few could provide. Perhaps it was in the fact that he knew full well that she would be watching his back just as much as he would be watching hers. There was no weakest link. There was only two halves that composed a whole that would rend and eviscerate any who would attempt to fracture or shatter the bond. Ready and willing, he'd await her signal to make distance or begin their training. He would give her his all, but he would do it in genuine sincerity - there is no "I" in team.

Yoshinee smiled, sincerely, at his little joke. A warmth of life burning in the crimson eyes. "Well, you're definitively in a better physical shape than I am, are you not?" she responded in a gentle tone. It was clear that she wasn't happy with how little she was capable of doing in physical combat. Yet it was also clear that she had attempted to change that fact, without much luck. Thus her success would rely on other factors.

"Can't have you take all the glory now, can I?" This was actually said in quite a convincing tone. It was as if the young kunoichi was stating that she would never become useless to him. That she would always carry her own weight. Slowly walking out onto the field, they'd find themselves in an open area. They both knew that they needed to know each others skills to be able to function together in a team. It was imperative that they knew each others weak points.. "...I guess I'll have to see what you're capable of on my own, eh?"[/b] With that, Yoshinee took a battle stance. The crimson eyes narrowed on his existance. It appeared as if she was capable of shaking off the cold when getting serious.

"Then I'll start out.." Yoshinee folded a series of seals, as water rose from the snow all around her, creating a handful of bunshins. Weaving in between each other, they all spread out in a half circle around him and started folded new seals. Yoshinee wasn't going to hold back. It would be like spitting in each others face...

"Glory, huh? I suppose I am. But where one weakness is present, a strength must be present elsewhere. Never underestimate. Only anticipate," he stated. The Hyuuga could only follow her as she moved into more of the open area. His arms dropped down his sides as he prepared himself mentally. Slowly but surely, his mind was beginning to take in a tunnel vision. He only saw the extent of his abilities, coalesced with her own and fueling a teamwork that would be the undoing of those who dare lay a malevolent hand on Yuki No Kuni. "I could tell you. But to experience it first-hand is infinitely better," he noted. He watched her gather her formation, the spheres of water rising to create the clones that would be surrounding him.

It was then that he would reveal unto her the Byakugan. As he shouted it aloud, those usual veins would amplify his vision to a great degree. The world around him opened up to an extreme that no words could depict, only the absolute focus of his gaze signifying the ability that he would be showing her this day. Stepping into his Jyuuken stance, he would allow the clones to surround him. He counted their number, though giving Yoshinee a nod as he beckoned her with his statuesque frame.

"Show me your prowess, Yoshinee. If you're lucky, I'll even take you out to food again. So let's earn the right, hm?" he said. Unlike her, he needed no preparation. It was simply existent within the vessel that had stepped into its powerful stance. He was ready to counteract her advance, as surely as she was ready to counteract his physical attacks. Of course, he was capable of far greater feats than physical skirmish. But as it was with all things, he would merely allow himself and her to blossom one with the other.

This gives the person performing the jutsu a chance to escape or gain a better position. this jutsu lasts 1-2 turns

The clones would be the ones to buy her time for this technique to kick into action. Yoshinee held the ram seal, as the Byakugan would reveal her chakra running towards the crimson eyes, gathering for some sort of technique. Meanwhile, two of the Mizu Bunshins would approach the Hyuuga. Since bodyweight and general strenght was stacked against her, the points of attack would have to be chosen carefully. In fact, there wasn't much choice to it at all. Any point that was carrying his weight would be prime targets. Thus, the clones kicked at his knees from both the left and right sides.

Meanwhile Yoshinee was experiencing something that she had not experienced before. There was something interrupting the technique. A technique Yoshinee had been using in the past. Yoshinee's eyes immediately turned sore, forcing her to close them and grit her teeth. What the hell is going on? she thought to herself, attempting to regain her calm. In essence, something was eating away at the chakra she meant to use for the technique, thus making it fail. Blinking a couple of times, Yoshinee took a deep breath. Unless she gathered herself fast, despite the strange occurence, she'd look like a complete fool to him. Unacceptable. The eye-link had been broken, Yoshinee had to start over. Hopefully, she'd have enough time.

Quickly gathering more chakra, Yoshinee attempted to brute-force her way through the issue, for now. The crimson eyes looking deep into the milk-white, almost as if she was watching into his soul itself. While Yoshinee had intended for both of the clones to turn into a black flock of crows upon destruction, the interruption and strange occurence would mean that only one of the clones would react at all, and that only with a single black crow would emerge from the destroyed bunshin. Basking with its wings, it would attempt to harass Tetsuya's concentration as much as it possibly could. However, the technique was a far cry from doing what it was supposed to be doing. - Maybe Tetsuya could see with his byakugan what had gone wrong..?

Jumping backwards, the clones were following. The plan was straight forward. Use the clones in combination with the Genjutsu to gain time for more complicated and time taking techniques. A mild sense of frustration over the soreness running through her eyes, for apparently no reason, Yoshinee held onto the ram-seal again. As long as she could keep an eye upon her opponent, hopefully she could adjust the technique and improve upon it. The next clones were almost ready to go. The young kunoichi knew though, that as long as it was so imperfect, she'd have to keep on the pressure with just basic techniques. Trying anything that required more time would be near suicidal.

The clones gathered around her, as she attempted to mold the chakra in a more purified manner. If this was the current skill of her technique, then she'd be using nothing but that until he was completely swarmed in an unstoppable swarm of crows!

It had appeared that she had removed herself from the equation completely, the clones left to strike at the Hyuuga as he kept a consistent eye on all that was occurring around him. A certain sense of instinct crept over him as they began their approach, the taijutsu prowess of these bunshin no more than the ordinary obstacle that he would have to face. As they moved to kick at his legs, he would merely relinquish his hold upon the ground. With a simple jump slightly into the air, his body would turn a full three hundred and sixty degrees. His legs shot out like bullets to either side of him toward the clones, the soles of his feet rushing into their abdomens to send them backward and away from him. But in the meantime, he had prepared something further.

But there was a hesitation.

As he'd struck one of the clones, it appeared that they were trying to manifest into something more. With that being said, he would focus a technique that he had gathered. Tetsuya's tenketsu awakened almost immediately as he pushed his chakra into an external form, the mastery of it aiding him in his venture as he moved to release an offense against it. As the single crow would disperse from the clone, Tetsuya's arm would reach out with a great force of gale picking up behind it. This was the impact of the Eight Trigrams Wind Palm. The origin of it would form around his appendage, masterful chakra manipulation occurring within only moments of him summoning the ability. An open palm would rush his attack off and away from his body, extending two meters.

Enough of a proximity for it to strike, the crow and clone would find themselves struck with an invisible force. "Yoshinee! Are you alright!?" he called out to her. The irregularity of her deception concerned him. Her very eyes had betrayed her, the intended life's essence of her jutsu being spent in nothingness in comparison to what should have happened. As Tetsuya focused his chakra once more, he would simply wait as she gathered herself. Unfortunately, the clone he'd struck would most likely disperse into nothing but its former state (no crows included).

And yet, he would turn and attempt the same jutsu on the opposite clone. This style of the Jyuuken merely called on him to focus his mental capacity, doing all within his power to ignore the sensation of his chakra's irregularity. He would gather that mass of wind along his forearm, its travel brusquely moving from that area into his palm to be commanded and used. Thrusting outward once more, nature's breath roared to life and cleared the distance between the Hyuuga and Yoshinee's counterpart. Its aim would be true, striking it with only a moment's notice before that clone would also find itself dispersing into a small column of water.

Tetsuya stepped back into the Jyuuken stance as he caught sight of Yoshinee, silently gauging her to see if she would be able to continue unhindered. "Good, Yoshinee. Focus. This is merely the beginning stage. No worries, alright?" he reassured her.

"My eyes are just acting weird. Its not a problem, I'm sure." It annoyed her even more that he was worrying for her over something so little. Then again, he was capable of seeing what happened to her chakra. So frustrating. Two clones wasn't even enough for warmup like that. In which case, she'd be doubling her effort to cause him trouble. This time, four clones moved forward. Only two remained in the rear to guard her. Meanwhile, Yoshinee's chakra activity increased.

Focussing hard, her chakra was still being treated irregularily by her body. There was something amiss, and Tetsuya could see every minor detail of it if he focussed. Yoshinee's eyes were eating portions of the chakra she was dedicating to the technique. The crimson eyes had run watery, making what would look like two tears run from the corner of her eyes. However, the more the technique seemed to annoy her, the more she seemed set on making it function. This time, instead of focusing on all clones at once, the goal was to focus on simply one.

The third clone Tetsuya would strike, would this time turn into three crows. Their size vastly larger than the first batch, and their viciousness and speed quite increased aswell. Even so, it didn't appear as if that was her maximum capacity for the technique either. Taken into consideration that the flow of her chakra was unstable, there'd be no telling to how effective the technique would be without interruption. Having surrounded the Hyuuga, two of the Mizu Bunshins aimed for his ankles. The other two, aimed for the top half of his torso. In essence, if both sides hit, his feet would be kicked towards the left, while his torso smashed towards the right. Simply put, Yoshinee was aiming on grounding him.

Drying her wet eyes, Yoshinee was breathing rather irregular aswell. A technique she had mastered in her academy days was causing her this much trouble. There was only one thing to do though. Able to feel that her eyes were distorting her chakra, the next attempt she'd be conciously feeding them some. With good enough control, that should leave her main technique un-altered, and thus at full power. Folding seals, Yoshinee prepared another batch of clones to replace the ones that Tetsuya had destroyed.

There was certainly strength in numbers..

Or at least, when facing a regular opponent.

The Hyuuga nodded at her words as she continued her assault, a quartet of clones now rushing toward him in an attempt to halt his advance. The Eight Trigrams Wind Palm had served him quite nicely against those clones he had faced only moments before, and he would implore its use again to destroy the next batch of targets that she had sent his way. He would meet them head on, however. A quick shift of his weight would allow the Hyuuga to jettison across the snow. Unhindered by the patches of ice that lingered, his feet pushed the pristine white essence aside as if clearly letting it know that there was naught that could stop this locomotive. As he squared up into the Jyuuken stance once again, he would keep a close eye contact with Yoshinee to monitor her chakra.

That irregularity struck him once more, but not before he would push his chakra out of their tenketsu. The Hyuuga's prowess was not to be denied as they attempted to strike him, able to simultaneously jump just above the attempts at his ankles while swinging his free arm in a wide arc to block their advances. He would thrust their assault away from him with relative ease, coming full circle with the clone that was closest. Just as he had done this, his tenketsu would feed the chakra to his palm. His fingers curled outward - the lethal weapons of his people's fighting style, he would yet again force a great burst of wind from his palm that would eviscerate the clone in its entirety.

The very impact of the blow would send the clone backward, though its composition would only turn into a mass of crows that screeched out as their wings beat against the wind. Narrowed eyes prevailed as he kept his attention focused on the task at hand, moving with evasive maneuver around the three crows so that he could once more call upon his Trigram technique. Tetsuya seemed to dance like the ebb and flow of water as he performed this intimate combat with her clones. His alternate hand, at least, would be given the same exercise as that of the one that had used his Eight Trigrams jutsu only moments earlier.

Effectively flanking the clones with sheer speed, he'd positioned them so that his free arm that hadn't attempted the technique would now become just as lethal as the one that had. His spiritual energy rose to the task as he focused his tunnel vision on the Wind Palm technique again. It seemed as though it was the proper technique to use in this particular situation, the wind sifting through his epidermis with swift reflex every time he beckoned its use. Almost as if in the form of a projectile, it would fire forth and into the ranks of the clones to tear them asunder as well.

The trajectory of the Wind Palm would see itself flying into the crows as well as they attempted to surround him. The nuisance of the technique was more than evident, but the Hyuuga was convinced that this was the least of Yoshinee's prowess. "More!" he called out to her. Relatively unscathed aside from three crows that now threatened to hinder his concentration, Tetsuya steeled himself for further action. Yoshinee's eyes appeared to be soaking up the precious chakra required to fuel the technique further, and as such the Hyuuga would make a mental note to inquire about such a thing after they'd finished here.

The young kunoichi bent slightly forward, her concentration rising rapidly. Every single clone moved forwards towards him. This time however, Yoshinee's chakra amassment had gone out of hand. Two of the six clones had ten watery-spheres effortlessly hanging in the air around them. The other four cornered the Hyuuga from every direction, standing far enough away to react should he start one of his locomotive movements again. From there, the spheres were shot at him in a cross-fire fashion, while the clones moved forwards in a suicidal manner to merely block his movements.

That however, was not all. Having fed her eyes a slight amount of chakra, the techique was functioning almost normally. The only thing that was keeping her back, was the soreness that made eye-contact a pain in the ass. Every single clone that he'd strike down would release one or two crows, making the technique release half of the potential crow-flock. The crows had gotten more vicious, and demanded his attention. The most interesting part however, was that even if Yoshinee lacked in physical strenght, her ability to mold and release chakra was quite adept.

However, her eyes were running madly with water and had gotten an irritated hue. Even so, her determination wasn't faltering even one bit. "Do not worry, I do not intend to go easy on you just yet.. You throw some impressive punches, though" Yoshinee backed off again. Having analysed his movements. Yoshinee pondered for a bit. The fingers of the kunoichi had grasped an exploding tag in her buttbag. Having a good sense that the next round would be where her technique finally functioned as normal, it was now time to show him what she could really do.

"Pay attention now, or I might wind up killing you."[/b] As the clones had been defeated, Yoshinee made a lower number of them, three clones in total. The landscape had been calculated. The speed of her opponent had been calculated. The strenght of her technique had been calculated and tested. Pulling out the exploding tag, she descretely snuck it into one of the clones buttbags. Now one of the clones would be an effective suicide bomber. The other clones and crows would take up concentration, thus allowing the clone to get there at a more rapid pace. On top of that, it was all just a diversion to allow Yoshinee time to unfold her true techniques. A four step combo?!

Yoshinee took a step back, analysed everything. If this went wrong, Tetsuya could get severely hurt. A minor detail that Yoshinee would prefer to bystep if possible.

The Hyuuga was relentless in his assault.

As he withdrew the use of the Eight Trigrams Wind Palm technique, he could feel a certain intensity rushing through him as the clones continued to attempt to assault his concentration. With sporadic movement did he dance around them, effectively lessening the strain of their irritations. But beyond all else, he found comfort in the fact that the Byakugan would reveal every minute detail of the world around him. As such, not even the stimulus of crows could keep him from seeing the creation of more clones in the distance. For such an occasion, the Hyuuga would focus his chakra.

The index and middle fingers were coated with fine chakra points as he awakened the tenketsu there. Being able to see his circulatory system and having mastered the various intricacies of the human anatomy, he was more than proficient at being able to put his life's energy where he so demanded it. With skill did his hands brush away the crows, almost bobbing and weaving wherever they would attempt to peck and flap their wings. Tetsuya's constant movement was deceptive - though he may have been giving some attention to the birds, the telescopic function of the Byakugan would deliver to him the knowledge of the exploding tag being planted.

It was then that Tetsuya would pick up kinetic energy. Without so much as a nod to acknowledge what she'd stated, he threw his arms behind him and created a propulsion unlike what he'd exerted before. With increased speed did he push himself like a wraith across the proximity of himself and the clones. He kept a watchful notation on the one that held the tag. As he pushed his chakra toward his fingertips, the Great Chakra Needle technique would begin its manifestation. He could feel his fingertips sharpening to a razor's edge. This was the foundation of the Jyuuken - to be able to interrupt and destroy the opponent's tenketsu.

Of course, he would never use such a technique on Yoshinee. But for what it was worth, he too would have to show her the true potential of one so adept at chakra's manipulation. As the clones drew near, Tetsuya would move into a rapid spin rotation the likes of which were unattainable by mundane means. A spherical barrier of chakra would ensure that they would get nowhere close to the Hyuuga, and in the following moments he would use the Great Chakra Needles to slice into their ranks with a grand ferocity. The spheres would fall to the wayside as he masterfully evaded around them, the barrier of chakra rendering the others useless in their attempt.

With grace did he stop his spin, thereafter thrusting himself into the air to rise above the crows. The fingertips, still holding their Great Chakra Needle technique, would slice right through them - mere illusions. The Genin's massive frame came bearing down toward Yoshinee at a rapid pace as he performed a single frontflip, threatening to land and extend his forearm square into the center of her collarbones. A grand plan, but strength in numbers was a game that he readily played. "No worries!" he shouted, barreling down upon her like a missile intending to mark its spot. If she was going to detonate an exploding tag, then she would be caught in the blast with him. Teammates in every aspect, no?

The way he was trashing through absolutely every single clone she had was quite worrysome. It almost seemed like they weren't even a nuisance to him. The count of crows had been reduced to zero. Unless she immediately did something, this was over. While it wasn't neccesarily a bad thing, Yoshinee didn't want to go down without giving it her absolutely everything. Mind racing, there was only one strategical movement she could do. The clone with the exploding tag immediately grabbed as much ice and rock as possible, directing it into a direction almost as if the clone was a cannon. "Watch your six!" Yoshinee shouted, preparing her last offense.

Yoshinee set off the tag from a distance. The shrapnel from the clone was headed towards the space of room between Yoshinee and Tetsuya, effectively working as a screen unless he dared traverse it. Buying Yoshinee time, she quickly molded chakra and held onto the ram seal. Feeding her eyes as much chakra as she possibly could, this move would be the finalé, at least for this first round of training. The stinging sensation, the feeling of everything being so clear, yet blurry at the same time. Water running from her eyes...

A huge flock of crows stormed between Yoshinee and the clones. They were squeaking loudly, making it hard for Tetsuya to hear anything. They were clawing madly at his hands and legs, making it hard for him to move as he planned. Assuming they were allowed to scratch him, he'd even feel a slight sensation of pain. The technique had been a success, but as he could see, her eyes had devoured a lot of chakra, she was running low. This time, Yoshinee used her original body alongside the remaining clones for the offense. Each of her clones turned into five water-spheres that then followed her onto the 'attack'.

Having seen his movement from before, Yoshinee wanted to give it a slight copy. The spheres weren't aimed at him. Rather, they were aimed around him, she stopped moving forward, the distance between them was but a few meters. Opening up her arms, she was signalling the end of the first round, inviting Tetsuya to a hug. Through combat, they had gotten to understand each other better. His ferocious strenght, her deceptive and thought out moves. The fine gesture she was showing him over, was quickly overtaken by Yoshinee holding a hand over her eyes and gritting her teeth. The feeling of pain was overpowering, and she couldn't see anything at all. "Damnit.." she bit lowly, clearly not aware of what was going on, only that her body was acting strange.

As he began his descent toward the ground, the Hyuuga would hear the sound of an explosion rocking the immediate area below him. It'd taken some serious ingenuity to have a clone gather up the materials that now stood betwixt himself and his friendly opponent, a grin crossing his features as he nodded his approval of her methods. His fingertips appeared to disperse the technique of the chakra needles; it appeared that he would have to work double time to re-establish them and spread it evenly across his nimble digits. So would it be - with great divinity did he grant the focal point of his chakra toward his stomach. It swam deep within his focus and managed to once again tear itself away from its center, broken off in shards and sent to his forearms.

Tetsuya's biceps flexed as, without a moment's notice, those same dangerous chakra needles were formed along his fingers. They emanated in the form of pinpoint senbon that jut forth from his skin, allowing his Byakugan to survey the distance between himself and the kunoichi as he finally entered the fray of ice and rocks. But no sooner than he did, did his practiced rotation of the Trigrams prove useful. The flock of fowl began to descend upon him as he moved into his spin, the hulking frame of the Taijutsu Master bound to drag the illusions along with him as he moved into his offensive area of effect attack. His hands were as lightning bolts striking through the shards of rock and ice, the grandeur of the Byakugan yet again giving him a calm as he assaulted all that lay around him.

Tetsuya was able to strike the crows in blinding fashion, every digit weaving an impossibly fast strike that only lingered for a moment. If not to strike a physical blow to these incarnations of distraction, he could at least give himself the impression of victory. That small bit of morale was all that he needed as he focused upon the finer points of the chakra needle. He could extend their length to a degree lethal to the opponent as he kept his fingers together. Even in mid-air, the Jyuuken technique's preparation would ensure that he wouldn't lose his balance in such a graceful descent.

Still, he admired her ability to continue. As they finally closed the distance one to the other, his smile widened as she appeared to reach out to him for a hug. But he had to be swift in his withdrawal of the chakra needles, 'lest he damage her already fragile body. Patience was taken into consideration as he began to withdraw his chakra from his fingers. Though one was capable of extreme destruction at the hands of the Advanced Jyuuken, there was also the lesson of humility and withholding to those who didn't deserve such a fate. He would preserve Yoshinee's ability to grant herself chakra, curling his fingers into small fists so that the technique would perish.

And then it struck him - she was struggling again, her body betraying her as she went to tend to her eyes. Through what little was left of her techniques, the Hyuuga grit his teeth and allowed the crows to continue their mental assault. But he didn't falter, his arms reaching out to sacrifice his own comfort. He took her body into his arms and held her close as the ground met him, turning his frame in such a way that his shoulder would slam into the snow below and allow him to bounce off of it with such a moderate impact. Tetsuya held onto Yoshinee's body and used himself as a shield as he skidded along the ground, leaving a deep imprint before finally sliding to a halt. He winced in mild discomfort as he lay within the snow, her body tucked neatly against his chest as he examined her.

"Yoshinee! ...Yoshinee, are you alright..?"

As soon as she had stopped feeding her eyes chakra, the feeling of them being on fire spread. It started with just being the iris, before taking over the entirety of her eye. A burning fire which just refused to stop. His Byakugan would see it like two small whirlpools, devouring at her chakra without her having a say in the matter. What had started..? It looked demonic and vile.. The hands she was holding in front of her eyes were shaking badly, and she did not move as his frame came crashing down towards her. His arms closed around her, and she was dragged into his hold as if she hadn't even been there. The resistance he'd feel was barely anything, almost as if he had been grasping onto thin air. Her breathing didn't change. Even with closed eyes, the shock that was going on inside her body was far larger than any outside interference. "I.. I can't see anything. It just burns. Burns so fierce.."[/b] Even in that state however, there was something Yoshinee knew she'd have to do.


Stretching out a hand, a circular motion of chakra made the crows slowly disappear, as if they had been removed, cell by cell, until nothing was left, effectively dispelling the Genjutsu that had been put upon Tetsuya. Even in her stressed and blind state, she was still capable of holding her chakra stable. Intense concentration.

As if out of pressure, Yoshinee decided to feed her eyes a bit of chakra. For a short while, the pain disappeared and the world returned to her, making her blink confused at Tetsuya. the devouring whirlpools had slowed down.. However, as soon as she wasn't feeding them chakra, the backlash became even worse than the first time. "..Whats.. happening?" she questioned. It didn't seem to be directed at Tetsuya, nor at herself. It was more of a hopeless aimless question, directed nowhere.

His Byakugan could see it all.

He simply continued to hold her as his shoulder came down off of its slight fit of pain, the Hyuuga wincing as he watched her suffer. His silence signified that he knew nothing of what was going on. Only the circulation of chakra from her tenketsu remained, though it was as if it was an involuntary drain that demanded more than she was attempting to give. He could feel the relaxation in her form when her chakra was used as an expenditure, but it only served to intensify the consequence if she were to once again stop her chakra's expenditure. "I'm sorry, Yoshinee.. I don't know what's happening.." he said quietly. Tetsuya managed to pull himself to his feet with her still in his arms.

Without another word, he carried her back toward the bench that they had originally met at before. He sat and kept her close to his frame, using a free hand to tear his shirt from around his waist and wrap her frame in it. His grip on her body was intense, and yet compassionate. Such an irregular chakra circulation was sign of something far more eccentric than he could have imagined. He'd seen it in his own kind before, the Byakugan an absolute measure taken. "Relax. Bring your tenketsu under control. My eyes see your struggle. Let it go, Yoshinee. Slowly.." he said quietly. The heat from his body would assist in sustaining her as the elements of the frigid atmosphere nipped at his skin.

"Where do you live? Do I need to take you home someplace?" he questioned. An awkward question for one of his usual solitude to ask, but he had seen her fall ill at the expense of their training. This was the least that he could do.

It was the strangest of sensations. It felt as if there was something there, and all she'd have to do was stretch her hands out to reach it. Yet it also felt like nothing was there, and continuing to move on would end in total darkness. Blinking a couple of times, clearly confused, the Hyuuga could see a slight hint of clear-red in the crimson eyes. It was like a flame that reacted to her chakra, burning brighter and growing stronger when fed. As she had denied it chakra, it was fluctuating slightly, struggling not to die.. and then, just as subtly as the spark had appeared, just as subtly did it vanish. It had been like living flame, desperately grasping for fuel to sustain itself and grow. Immediately as the spark disappeared, Yoshinee drew a relieved sigh, as if a burden had been lifted from her shoulders. It felt as if her eyes had been dipped into a relaxing ice-cold pond.

...The young kunoichi didn't utter a word as she was being carried to the bench. Not a single word. Nor did her eyes open, she had granted him her trust, completely. As he sat down with her, she merely pressed herself slightly against him, still shivering slightly from the experience. As he addressed her directly with a question, she merely mumbled a few words that could only be translated into gibberish. Yoshinee wasn't out of chakra, and she wasn't out of energy either. Even so, she appeared exhausted.

There was no telling just what machinations had been born here. But more importantly, there was no telling just what type of condition Yoshinee was in. The Hyuuga attempted to translate her words, but only incoherent syllables would escape her lips. His eyes softened as the Byakugan retracted. No more interested in her chakra's functions, at least for now, he stood and began to walk with a brusque pace with the kunoichi in tow. He picked up his pace until he could jump upward and into the forestry that lay on the outskirts of the open fielding, an almost other-worldly speed granted him as the atmosphere around them became nothing more than a blur. What crimson locks had escaped his ponytail whipped violently along the wind as he maneuvered the two of them across multiple stretches of land in what appeared to be seconds.

"Such a strong mind for such a weak body.." he noted. It would only take them minutes to reach his own abode.

He couldn't recall the last time he'd traveled so swiftly...

.Hyuuga Tetsuya Residence.

The door was kicked open as Tetsuya stepped inside his spacious apartment, multiple rooms decorated with oriental design as diagrams of anatomy and the like were pinned against the walls. The floor held hardwood floor, accentuated by khaki-colored carpet that served to soften the feet below. The living room, a rather big section of the home and decorated with soft obsidian furniture, is where he would take her. A couch lay at the back of the room, only meters away from a large window that displayed a rather pretty view of the snow in its constant fall. The heat was well-adjusted by the time they'd reached the safe haven. Yoshinee's body would come to rest on the couch, the Hyuuga draping a blanket over her before he sat indian style on the floor in front of her.

Matters of chakra couldn't be healed by ordinary means. This, she would have to work out on her own. Furrowed eyebrows signified Tetsuya's curiosity, and yet he would allow her to speak in her own time. He secretly wondered if she was hungry, but there were more pressing matters at the moment like her immediate cognizance to the world around her. He could only wonder what she saw. What she felt. What she thought.

"Told you to take care of yourself."he grumbled.

The crimson eyes were watching every once in a while as they were moving. The blurriness meant that she wasn't gaining much information what so ever. In fact, it only made her feel motion sick aswell. Thus, she ended up just relaxing in his arms. He really was strong. Large enough to carry her around as if she wasn't even there. It strangely enough made her feel safe, even if he was taking her somewhere she hadn't been before...

The sound of a door being kicked in, followed by the sensation of being laid upon a couch as if she was a piece of porcelain that could break at the minorest mistake. Simply letting him move her around as if she was his doll, she ended up being quite comfortable underneath a blanket. He was sitting next to her, giving her his every bit of attention. Her shoulders lowered, it felt so nostalgic. This kind of feeling hadn't been happening since she was a little kid...
"I don't.. I don't know what happened. I've.. done that technique many times before. This is the first time my eyes.. My body... betrayed me"[/b] she said in a gentle tone.. It was clear though, Yoshinee was frustrated.

If she lost the ability to properly manipulate her chakra.. what was to become of her as a shinobi?.. "What do I do from here?"[/b]
