A claw rested on each hand, borrowed from a Master in a local dojo for the time being. She stood with her left elbow just touching her waist. Her wrist was turned upwards allowing for easy underhanded strikes with the claw. Her right hand was lifted higher, the claw facing straight forwards. The weapon positioning felt decent but her feet being natural was awkward. She let her right foot slide forwards, creating a more balanced stance for her to attack from.
With her feet in a good place she re-adjusted her hands. The weapon on her left was not pointing forwards properly. She adjusted that and held it steady while extending it out further, and to the side so her elbow was not quite tucked to her body. She swiped experimentally, bringing the weapons towards each other in a cutting motion. It felt decent but her right arm wasn’t quite in the proper position. She shifted her right arm carefully, letting the weapon drift further to the left.
It could be difficult to get the positioning exact but she was fairly certain she had done it now. The master came out to look upon her and nodded. It was an acceptable stance. He shifted her hands ever so slightly and she held the position for a moment before stepping out of it then returning to said position. It felt better this time, she was getting more used to it.[/font][/ul]
