Itsuki wandered through the village with a slip of paper in hand his brown eyes were looking at it sternly as he read off what instructions Shao Mae had given him at the Kusakage's tower. "Find the man named Shingen Takahito and challenge him to a taijutsu battle he's been rather uppity on how great he is for a man from Kaze no Kuni. He'll be with a dark haired man with sunglasses named Mikichi Ryuugamine, a promoter of his, watch out for the bird suit though."
Pushing aside his blue gray hair he looked upon the clothes he was wearing his regular dark red t-shirt, his gray jacket and black pants along with his black sandals. Today, he wore his purple clothed shinobi headband on his left forearm and could not help but smile as the metal plate glistened. On his back there was a a simple bojutsu staff he had brought with him. For today, he had left his black cloak at home as he went finally stretch his legs against an opponent that sounded fun to challenge. He figured since this man was asking for a taijutsu mach carrying a staff into battle would not be a problem.
The only problem he realized he was having as he looked up onto the streets before him was finding the location they were at. The two had apparently set up a ring near the center of the village, but today at least Itsuki was apparently forgetting where it was. This was bad since it meant he might have to forfeit the mission. He decided to run down the road he was on though and see if it led to the center of the village.
As he ran down it past the many villagers of his home and their market stalls and shops he heard the sounds of shouting in the distance. "Eagle! Eagle! Eagle!" Itsuki heard a crowd shout as he suddenly slammed into the backs of a crowd standing in the center of a plaza he stepped into.
"I'm-I'm here..." Itsuki realized. There could only be on reason such a crowd had gathered and that was that they had heard of this famous fighter. He used his hands to push past the people in front of him and as he approached the center of the crowd he could make out a square ring with four metal posts, a hard mat, and a series of strong ropes around it.
In the center a man in a giant brown and white eagle costume was screaming, "I am the Eagle! I am the champion! Where is this village's chosen genin who has the guts to face me! I have not lost 1,499 matches since I started walking this earth to disprove that one had to be a shinobi to be great!
"That is my number!" man cried as he pointed up to a big screen TV with hanging from a series of cables eighty feet above the plaza. On it was the number 1,499. "And I am not about to lose to another ninja who thinks he may take my title!" The crowd roared and Itsuki had to raise his hands to his ears to cut out the eccentric shouting as best as he could.
He slowly made his way into the ring and ducked under one of the ropes as the man in the eagle costume looked at him and asked, "Who are you?"
A man in a dark suit with sunglasses approached the man in the eagle costume and said loud enough for Itsuki to hear, "That man is your challenger Mr. Takahito."
The muscular man blinked and stomped over to Itsuki before saying, "You must be little Itsuki who I have heard has been sent to challenge me."
Itsuki nodded nonchalantly and watched the man that had spoken before slick back his hair. Shingen pushed his hand forward and Itsuki reluctantly shook it as he said, "I am definitely here to challenge you."
The man in the business suit jumped to attention and cried, "Do you hear that folks! This little boy Itsuki Shishigami is here to challenge the mighty Shingen! And I Mikichi Ryuugamine am here to announce the match!" The crowd roared with glee as Itsuki and Shingen parted.
"How old are you?" Itsuki asked as he tried to determine what the man looked like under his eagle outfit.
"I'm thirty, extremely muscular, have blond hair and blue eyes, and am wearing a gray jump suit underneath this suit. Now if you don't mind go to the blue post in the corner and I shall go to the read one. He pointed to two posts diagonal from one another and Itsuki walked over to his blue colored post and waited for the match to begin.
