Midori arrived at the large Mansion. It was easily one of the largest houses of Konaho, not counting the clan compounds. Well, it was definatly the largest house she had ever been in. That was for sure. Her mother had been so excited for Midori's first mission that she has polished her headband till the leaf shined in the sunlight. The young kunoichi rang the doorbell. She looked to see a video camera, obversing her. She waved at the camera and pointed to her headband before looking back at the door.
It would be a few minutes later, when the door opened to reveal a tall, lean butler. He looked down, and Midori could see a hint of a frown on his face. The butler looked at her starting at her feet, moving up, and finally resting them on her leaf headband.
"I am Moto Midori. I am here on a mission." She said, holding out the paper with the Hokage's seal. He took the paper and exaimed it.
"Aw, yes." He finally spoke, he then looked away. She could tell he said something, but she didn't catch it. Anyway, he had opened the door wider and stood to the side. She took this as a que to go in. She stepped in and she could this was a rich person's house.
Marble floors, high ceiling paintings, a twisting staircase, and even statues were everywhere. The butler moved ahead of her and he made a gesture to follow him and she did just that. Up the grand staircase she went. She followed him through the richly decorated home. She may not know the Sunekos, but she could already tell they were not a humble family.
Finally, they came to a door with pink hearts and gillter over it with a sign that read Rin's room.
"This must be Rin's room." She missed what the butler said, but he opened the door for her to reveal a young girl with dark hair on a pink bed. Midori looked around the room it was almost completely pink with posters of various boy bands and actors. She looked up and said something, but she was too far away to read her lips. Midori walked further into the world from barbie hell.
Rin rolled off her bed as she approached, then Rin pulled out a cell phone and began talking over it. She started walking away to her vanity. Midori had a feeling she was talking to her, but she had no idea what it is. She looked to the door and saw the butler had left them alone.
The young kunoichi looked to see Rin was still at her vanity, talking on the phone and brushing her hair. Midori walked up,
"Miss Suneko, I can't understand you." The girl did not seem to hear or pay attention.
"Miss Suneko," She repeated. Rin just held her hand up, as if signaling her to wait. So Midori stood silent for a few moments until Rin was done with the phone. Then the girl got up and started moving around the room and past her. Midori guessed she was giving her orders, but she couldn't tell.
"Miss Suneko," She repeated again, and Rin didn't turn to face her. She was starting to get very frustrated. Finally, it seemed Rin was getting annoyed at her. Whatever Rin wanted Midori to do she was not doing it. Rin turned and faced her, with a clearly pissed look
"Are you deaf?" These were the first words that she could lip read,
"Yes," She responded, and it was followed by what she supposed was an awkward silence.
"Seriously....." Suneko looked stunned. Midori pointed to her ears and shook her head no
"Yes, I can read your lips when you turn and face me." Rin looked at her for a moment, before speaking.
"Just follow me and I'll tell you what to do." Midora nodded. Rin then graved her purse and gestured her to follow as they walked out of the room and the house. Outside a limo was waiting for them. Midora was excited, she had never been in a limo.
She climned inside it and sat nex to Rin, before they drove off.
