Deep in the middle of Otokagure lays a brilliant fountain and statue. The statue is of a long dead hitobitmae clan member named Dawn who gave her life in that very same spot defending Sound village from a group of missing ninja. The statue is crafted into a large bronze colored fountain that spits water continuously out of the two fly wings. This fountain is to be a constant reminder and tribute to Dawn. Buildings and shops of all kinda surround the fountain in circular shape and the fountain is frequented by many shinobi and villagers alike. A good meeting place for lunch, or just something pretty to admire when you're bored.
The night was young, and the sun cascaded over the western horizon, setting slowly. Fireflies began to pulse a light lime green color as they flew over the fountain of dawn. I made my way in towards the fountain from the south end. No coconut in my hand this time however. I started to ween myself off of them, it was almost like an addiction at this point. Lower four arms folded over themselves and hidden under my red cloak as I walked forth, until finally reaching the fountain. Hood up, dark brown hair tied into a pony tail behind my head. It was getting long going to have to trim it soon, I thought.
The sleeveless red cloak with a black spider on it was opened by my upper arms, to let my lower four arms breathe. We were in the village, most people knew me for what I was, no need to hide the arms here. I leaned over and listened to the water splash from the fountain as I used one of my arms to take my hood off, leaving the ponytail in tact however. Cracking my other knuckles through my black fingerless gloves, I used my red onigami eyes to peer over the fountain square. People were piling out and leaving, just as the sun was from the sky.
The fountain felt empty. It was good, though. It gave me time to reflect. I turned around and sat on the fountain and looked up into the sky briefly. I thought about Elgar, and where the hell he had been all this time. I hadn't seen Trace in awhile either. Lord knows the Otokage was up to her eyeballs in work, so I hadn't seen Mayu either. Kyogi was probably still parading around announcing his ANBU status, too. Everything felt like it was moving too fast.
Before I knew it, the fountain square was empty. Aside from a few stragglers, no one was really here. I scratched some fresh stubble on my chin as I made another look around the fountain as though Elgar was going to walk up to me at any second, something I knew to be false.'Where the hell is everyone anyway?'
