Illusion Sensing
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Skill: Passive
Effect: Allows the user to detect genjutsu.
Special: ---
Drawback: Does not break the genjutsu, only tells the user that a genjutsu is in effect.
Description: This technique allows the user to sense the various fluctuations in the chakra around them. These fluctuations will allow the user to identify that a genjutsu is in play. The user is able to use this technique with the same distance chart as Mind’s Eye of the Kagura. The user need not be affected by the illusion to see it. Also note that the user can only sense Genjutsu of the same rank of this technique. Meaning D rank Illusion Sensing can detect D rank Genjutsu and so on and so forth.
Limit: Must be a Sensor.
Eric mother would release her Genjutsu grip on him, and instead a stronger one would be put in its place, and he felt pain...He barely even seen the chakra change but he definitely felt the effects. Once again he was within the grips of a Genjutsu and he had no idea what he was feeling. Well he did, but the source of the pain was unknown. He already knew this was the tall tell sign that a Genjutsu had been initiated, but he did not even notice the chakra fluxuating when it happened. He tried his best to try and find the strange chakra that would be located within his brian but as of right now he could not find it. It was elusive and hard to tell, not to mention the pain was messing with his thought reasoning. He doubled over as he fought through it.
This type of pain was something he could not regenerate past. This type of pain, he knew was a mind over matter thing. But without the correct information and the ability to falsify this, there was no way to diminish the potency of the Genjutsu. It was like finding the entrance to a labyrinth. The brain being a labyrinth of its own, this task was going to be quite challenging. He tried to sniff out any strange chakra in his mind but was finding the task difficult to achieve. He found that his brain was littered with his own chakra that hid this other chakra scent well. He was pushing his Mind’s Eye into full swing trying to detect any anomalies within his mind. Yet still he could not find anything. The pain was messing with his head far too much. And perhaps thats one fundamental he would have to learn.
Eric would have to block out the pain, and in effect for Genjutsu’s he would have to block out the effect of a Genjutsu to utilize his Mind’s Eye correctly to find the influx of chakra. So he would calm his mind as best he could. This is no easy task but first thing he would do his stop pissing and moaning about the pain. He would relax his grip over his stomach and loosen his muscles. He writhing in pain does not help the situation at all. In fact it was probably distracting him from trying to find the anomaly. It was but the first stepping stone in finding the issue within his mind. But oh was it a challenge. This Genjutsu was a definite nut buster and one to try and overcome. But as he relaxed his body as best he could he felt he could push out the negative painful experience out from his mind. Not completely but he would feel his Mind’s Eye rationalizing a bit better.
Eric would continue and he could feel his reasoning come back ti him. He could feel his searching ability and chakra scent finding technique return to him. He could feel the warmth of his body once again, and not the numbing experience of the Genjutsu. He could feel the feeling semi come back into his body. It was liberating experience to at least fight past the brunt of the Genjutsu. He continued by relaxing his mind and getting in touch with his mind to strengthen the Mind’s Eye technique. He could feel the same scent of chakras around him. He could once again feel the fluxuations of chakras within these chakras that he was sensing around him. It was the time to search for the odd and strange chakra that most likely would be gripping it. And thus he would take in a needed breath and commit himself to searching for the source of the pain.
Eric would close his eyes as the visual would be much better. This technique he found gives him reason to put a name or a source to the Genjutsu pain effect. Once he find it the potency of the Genjutsu drops enough so that he is functional again. Though the pain would still be felt he would be able to preform once again. With that in mind he zeroed in his Mind’s Eye to the section of the brain where pain was felt. Then he noticed it, the fluxuation that exploded as he forced the feeling of pain within his mind. Even though the pain would erupt within his body once again, he could see the fluxuation of the Genjutsu chakra within his mind. He could see it, he could see the source and thus the pain would not be as effective. This fake feeling that had no source but some mystical chakra gripped within his mind. And thus his body would relax a little bit...
