Raiton – Goudatsu Boshuu no Jutsu (Thunder Style – Illusion Shattering Technique)
Rank: A
Skill: Ninjutsu/Supplementary
Effect: Allows the user to effectively break a genjutsu by shocking themselves. Once they acknowledge being in the illusion, the body automatically shocks itself once, creating enough pain and discomfort to bring the user back to reality. Automatic unless the user wills against it.
Special: --
Drawback: Does not work on ‘S’ ranked genjutsu. Must prepare jutsu beforehand by casting seals and waiting, resulting in initial casting fee, as well as lingering chakra in one's body taking up an 'C' ranked amount of chakra per turn until the actual shock occurs, which then translates to 'A' ranked chakra consumption. Once the user gets shocked, this tech must be reactivated. Cannot feed the user's mastery over Raiton, if they have achieved it. Can only be used five times per thread; any more, and the shocks will induce a fatal heart attack onto the user. This is not automatic, as the user must know they are in an illusion before breaking it. The user’s body will be numb and slow to respond the turn immediately after breaking from the illusion, slowing down their natural speed almost by half for the immediate turn after. If done when surrounded by flammable/easily shockable items, the user could hurt themselves severely.
Description: Whenever the user has been haunted by a severe illusion, they can acknowledge their fate and kiss their behinds away, or they can do something about it. In this case, the Raiton user has trained himself to shock his entire system whenever they detect an illusion present, bringing forth enough pain to snap them free from the illusion. Although the technique leaves them feeling hurt after, they can activate this at any time for the cost of a ‘C’ ranked jutsu. Careful however; shock yourself too much, and you could get hurt!
Limit: Raiton Release
Eric would be assaulted with a plethora of Genjutsu. His mind would be turned upside down with the amount of Genjutsus that would be preformed against him. His mother was a terrifying women, and he had to keep up. He could tell that they were genjutsus with his sensory capabilites. He had his trick though and he would touch his body with his hand. The cap to the technique would have been release. Sparks would fly out of his hand and shoot himself with this Ration chakra. Unfortunately there had been a horrible miscalculation and he was knocked back 5 meters. And he was in pain.
Eric would feel dazed for a second, and his mother would be laughing at him. Yeah whatever he had failed his first attempt. Though this was an advanced technique, so failure was inevitable. But on a side note he did disable the Genjutsus that had been effecting his mind. That was a positive result. So he would go back to the text of the technique. He would try and find out where he went wrong. It was something to do with the delivery of the technique. He had done it incorrectly or he had missed a step. That was his punishment he supposed for skimming over a bit of the text. And so he would read.
Eric read a section within the text about the delivery method of the technique. Yep there it was the delivery was completely off. It was too much too fast. This was completely incorrect and he had to reconfigure how he would go about the delivery system. He read that he would have to compact the entire chakra storage. This would make it so that it could be injected into the body with one touch, though it seemed this would be counter productive to his method. Or rather his issue, it seemed it would speed up the process instead of slowed it down.
Eric would continue to read the text of the technique that talked about the delivery method. He would read and he could not find how to limit it. Then he thought it must be in the cap so he skimmed back to where it talked about the cap instructions. He read through it and past the part of the storage section. He also read past the part of the section that talked about the cap restricting the Ration chakra from gathering to much and thus he would come to the governor. It seemed he had missed this part. As the cap was set in place it would slow time the chakra release from inside the body. And there it was his issue would be solved with this.
Eric would continue to read this blurb though. He would find out that the cap shrinks upon the chakra to condense it so that it would release a bit slower. It would be akin to trying to unravel a yarn ball. Though the chakra would still erupt from the cap, it would be to a less degree since it would restrict its movements some. And as the chakra would release from the cap, the cap would vibrate to a frequency that would restrict or impede the chakra release even further. It was like scrambling or jolting some one as they tried to sprint. The rhym or tempo would be interrupted thus the pace would slow down. Well at least that would be the method.
