The Onigami had slipped away from his brother, and was off to himself, quietly searching for something he had accidentally stumbled upon days earlier.
Back at the village, Masaaki had been out late at night- as he was beginning to do more and more often. The darkened streets of Iwagakure held a certain eerie charm to them, and the man found it relaxing in an odd way. His aimless wandering eventually led him to a small pond, where several young ninja were attempting to channel their chakra through chakra paper, although there here so far unsuccessful. A light smirk traced Masaaki's features as he strode forward, expertly plucking a paper from the more focused of the group; ignoring the indignant 'HEY!' afterwards.
Holding the paper up, he glanced at the others, gathering their eye contact before he began to speak.
"You're doing it wrong. It's not as.. forceful as you're attempting to make it- you need to simply let it go. A small amount of chakra is all that's needed; watch me do it."
With a flicker of thought, he funneled a small tendril of chakra to his hand, which caused the paper to catch fire. The young ninja took this to heart, and resumed their practice, while the Onigami was left staring at the paper in disbelief. That wasn't supposed to happen- he wasn't aware he had Fire chakra within him. The paper should have turned to mud; signifying Earth. Wordlessly, he strode away, intent on finding more chakra paper to further investigate it.
The Onigami sighed as his mind returned to the present, aggravated at himself. He'd never gotten any paper, as he'd gotten distracted on the way. And the next day, this mission arose, leaving him now to test his newfound release.
Still, he'd managed to find a break among it all, leading to his sitting in a small, separate area. It was obvious to him now that he had fire chakra within him, but how to use it?
