His cousin had supposed to be back in the Land of Fire, but she got caught up in the excitement of having a baby and went on an impromptu trip over to the Land of Rain to visit her husband’s family. Naoki was trying to remain calm and understanding, but as he sat in an inn lost somewhere in the country getting drunk off his ass, he was finding it hard to. It was late and he didn’t feel like travelling anymore that night, so he was kicking back a few bottles of sake.
The Mist shinobi was wearing a black tank top and dark red BDU trousers, his headband hidden in one of the many pockets because he didn’t want to reveal his village in a foreign land. Sure their villages were allies, but he didn’t trust that too much. He didn’t quite fit in even though he took his headband off though, his bronze skin not matching most of the patrons who were pale, and his bright golden eyes only added onto the exotic look. Not to mention the fifteen red and yellow flowers on his arm, eight on his right and seven on his left. Normally there would be a swarm of butterflies attracted as well, but he hadn’t let them all follow him into the inn because he figured it wouldn’t sit well with the barkeep.
Naoki was sitting alone at a table near a corner, and he couldn’t even remember what number drink it was when he downed another glass. Hidden in his BDU trousers were six kunai, sixteen exploding tags, two frag grenades, and a compass baseplate. It was more discrete than using a buttbag for sure, as it looked like he was merely wearing dark red cargo pants. He was wearing black boots as well, as they helped when walking through the wetlands of the Land of Rain.
