The Tomb [E]

The mountain located north of the Triage Center possessed many tombs for where the elder generation of Raikage and important council members were buried. Although these tombs were not very large, some lead to dead ends, whereas some were molded together. Deep within the heart of the mountain, a crystal stone capable of ancient power is hidden within the fortress and could very well be the reason for the invasion. The entrance to the tomb is 40 meters up the right side of the mountain and is hidden deep within a small hole. A single hovercraft unloaded ten soldiers each wielding katanas at least 20 meters up that trail and were all instructed to enter the tomb to retrieve the crystal stone.

The trail snaked up the side of the mountain but possessed a total of 4 tomb entries. Two others lead to dead ends while the two remaining lead to the heart of the mountain where the crystal stone was located. However, these two entries would lead toward multiple tunnel openings which would eventually lead toward the heart of the fortress, but it can be time consuming. The two Genin would both receive a message on their communications devices explaining the details of the situation as well as the exact route to head toward the tomb before the grunts do.

“We need two Shinobi to defend the village's treasure by heading up the mountain side, with the navigational aide from myself, to stop the enemy from getting their hands on the crystal stone. What you need to do is to travel up the side of the mountain north of the Triage Center and cut the enemy off at the top unless they make it to the tomb's entrance before you. You will receive more instructions once you reach your destination. If one of you have a flying companion, that would be most ideal. Inform me once you have reached the destination.”

The radio command came in while I was teaching the young-lings over at the academy. I made my leave and left the villages future in the hands of the Chuunin teaching them and made my way over past the Triage center. I ran just north of it, as I noticed part of the command come in saying something about bird animal companions. I didn't have that, but I had something comparable. Both hands up zipped each zipper on the palms of my black gloves, allowing access and visibility to my signature hand mouths. I made sure to check my equipment as well, noticing my two clay pouches, filled with explosive clay. A butt bag behind my right butt cheek, containing 57 senbon, 20 exploding tags, and 1 Kunai.

I wore a pair of black rubber soled shoes. A pair of black baggy samurai like jeans. Above that a deep red and black cloak extending to the length of my knees. No T-Shirt, just my abs showing with my blue shark skin. Also a pair of fingerless black gloves with zippers on the palms for quick access to my hand mouths. Filed down teeth, round green eyes, deep blue skin and long, neck length hair which was black in color. A small black beanie worn over my hair with the Cloud village head band upon it.

Each hand reached into one of the two clay pouches on each side of my belt, and grasped with the hand mouth tongue, a small bit of clay, and instantly began chomping and chewing, infusing the clay with Toujitakumi chakra, giving lifelike properties and form to each set of bitten clay. It was quite easy to do this and do the technique as I ran towards my destination, just north of my current position. Other friendlies were already in our A-O, so most of my bomb like creations would obviously be off limits in such situations. After being placed in jail for something similar, I wasn't about to have a repeat offense on my resume.

The clay was being infused with chakra continuously as I finally reached the bottom of the snake trail. I looked up, and noticed a few of the entrances. It was going to be difficult to figure out which entrance was a dead end or not, and most likely going to take a good bit of time. Which reminded me, I was meeting another Genin here, atleast the radio broadcast had said so. It was time to check in and get a status report.

"This is Fox McFly, I am at the drop point, requesting additional orders and back up, over."

Meditating under a cherry blossom, they were seen to be so soothing and calming for the mind. It was quite something beautifu and rare indeed to find one in the Village of Cloud, but that was all going to soon end for one was quite indeed needed for an assignment. Getting word of contact as it seemed Aurelien was needed he would hear from his headset that rested beside him that two shinobi were needed to defend the village's treasure by heading up the mountain side to protect a crystal stone? Aurelien did not know what was going on for exactly, but whatever it was it was something big.

Standing up as he would dust himself off he would grab hold of his Large War Fan that would be leaning against the tree that Aurelien meditated under he would then grab hold of pouch that held within it: 3 slots of a Kunai, 2 slots for Senbons, and 3 slots of Grenade Smoke. This was quite an intriguing for what were Aurelien and whoever his ally were they going to find?

Making his way toward the bottom of the destination as fast as possible it would be quite a fast pace for him due to being within the Taijutsu form of Goutetsu. It did not only help increase strength, but speed as well. It was only a few minutes until he had reached the top of the mountain and reaching it he would notice a young man standing who looked to be the same age as him. Landing beside the young man at least seven feet away, he would stand up and gave a gullible smile winking, "Yo! Sorry I'm late, hehe!" Rubbing the back of his head out of embarrassment he would hope that his teammate could forgive him, but once he had reached his teammate he would cordially be wearing quite an outfit: He is seen to be donning a black vest with white outer edges and inner edges covered by a prominent trimming of gray fur over a short, black top, leaving his muscular upper abdominal's exposed. Aurelien's arms are covered by black dark gloves reaching up toward the middle of his biceps, with their upper edges being adorned by light grey bands hanging down several centimeters. Aurelien is seen to also be wearing loose, black pants, but held up by suspenders attached to the pants loops by square-shaped rings. Over them, he is wearing dark black galoshes-like footwear, reaching up to his thighs and attached to the upper edge of his pants. To finalize his outfit his headband is the color black and shown to don the cloud villages mark on the metal portion of it. The headband Aurelien wears is shown to be around his neck.

Standing boldly rubbing the back of his head as he would wonder what to do next, he would look at his fellow partner and ask, "So do you know what we should do next?" He asked.

Once the two Genin arrived on scene, both would be able to have time for introductions and greetings as the team of grunts 20 meters ahead of them would be gathering up their belongings and beginning their hike as well. With another 20 meters to go for the grunts and 40 meters for the two Genin, the devices strapped to both their ears would soon begin to crackle to the response to the Hoshigaki. “Well that surely didn't take long for you. Now, if you are at the bottom of the trail without any source of flight, if you two look to your right, in the side of the mountain you will see a small hole.”

The device would fall silent for a few moments as the Navigator gave them both time to approach the said area. “If you travel up there and turn left and follow the trail straight up, you should make it out before they reach the top. However, please be warned, you must move quickly as the tail changes and it could lead you out onto the main trail. And we don't want you to be discovered by the enemy. But if you do have a bird or a device capable of flight, I suggest that you use that.”

[/color][/i] The Navigator said firmly. The device would fall silent again unless questions were asked.

"But if you are at the top of the track, you should be able to see the approaching group. If they are not in sight, you are to enter the tunnel to your far left around the side of the mountain. Inside the tunnel is a highly sensitive device that allows any and all sounds within the tunnel to be heard, so if they are ahead, you will be able to hear them. But knowing their exact position won't prove handy unless you have experience in Oto jutsu. Now good luck, and if you need my assistance, don't hesitate to contact me."

[Sorry for taking so long.]

Some weird kid joined me. He apologized for being late, and made a comment about our next move, but before I could respond the head set device responded to my original question. I took a moment to listen carefully to the instruction, and my smile grew larger as it said we should use a form of flight or transportation. Hand mouths ever still chomping and chewing and infusing my clay creations with chakra, our transportation would soon all but be ready to take us up the mountain side.

"I hope you're not afraid of heights guy."

I turned to my new partner jokingly. My hand mouths spat out two wads of clay, one for each hand mouth. Laying them on the ground my hands came together in a special handseal known only by the Toujitakumi.

"Katsu!!"

I said heavily, but in a low tone, as to not alert the enemy of our presence. In two beautiful puffs of smoke, two pure white clay falcons of about 10 meters in length and twenty meters in wing span stood before me and this un-named partner.

"By the way, I'm Fox. Who're you?"

I said as I hopped onto the back of the white falcon, and waited for my partner to do the same, so we could ascend to the checkpoint before our enemies could.

The guy would turn to face Aurelien as he would give a small chuckle, but then someone on the communicator would alert the two of them of their next instructions. Turning to face the guy Aurelien would pound his right fist into the palm of his left hand giving a devious smile, "Yosh!" With a smile of excitement Aurelien was fired up, but then...

He would hear the clap of his partners hand as he would slam it upon the ground a puff of white smoke would form within the air around them as a bird like carrier would be created before Aurelien's very eyes. Aurelien would gasp, "Gah?!" He was quite surprised to see someone of the Touji Clan, Touji being short for its original name for it was quite a mouthful to pronounce, stand before his very eyes. He would look as the man would launch on top of the bird like carrier as he was quite surprised and followed right behind him front flipping on to the back, "Fox? Nice name! I'm Aurelien, haha." He would smile kindly at his partner awaiting for them to take off, but would also tighten the gloves upon his hand for he was ready to take on the enemies who weren't very far from their current location, "Well, we should get going right? Don't want the enemy ahead of us any further!" Chuckling once more Aurelien would smile at his partner patting his shoulder.

OOC: I've exited the Quest Thread. I'm Hardly ever on this site anymore, so, I've decided to just forget about learning mainstream techs like the Rasengan, so, I'm done with that Quest.

As the pair mounted the bird-creations and took flight up toward the top of the trail, both Genin would be spotted by the grunts hiking below and a few shouts would be heard. What felt like seconds later, the golden hovercraft which was used as the drop-off for the grunts below, would come zooming around the corner and head toward the airborne couple. Although the craft appeared not to have any projectile weapons on board, the huge contraption would soar straight toward the two of you in hopes of causing a collision.

Should the bird be able to dodge the incoming attack, four grunts armed with simple katanas would leap off the craft and onto the creation alongside you. Two would attempt to slice the bird's wings off while the other two would attempt a swing toward both of your heads or at least try and knock you off the bird itself.
