Hyouton:Tsuchi Baindo
Rank: C Rank
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Literally Hyouton: Tsuchi Baindo means Ice: Earth Bind. As a Ninjutsu the technique utilizes chakra. Here the user forms the handsigns and collects whatever takes part of the landscape/ground and forms strips of cloth out of it. With Hyouton it manipulates snow or ice.
Special: Rat, Boar, Dog, Ox, Tiger
Drawback: One must have Ice Release to perform.
Description: The Snow forms white strips looking much like bandages that rise from the ground and wrap tightly around the opponent. The strips are thick enough that they cannot be cut through with a kunai, and are wrapped tight enough to leave the enemy immobile.
Limit: Ice Release
Karitori walks slowly now eyeing his new headband with four lines ingraved onto the metal guard. Karitori grins as he slips his grey mask on and ties his head guard onto his neck. Karitori thought since he became a Genin. He should prove to himself that he's finally a Genin. He decided to perform Tsuchi Baindo. He saw this in a scroll once and thought it was perfect. He needed to find a good spot for training also under this cold rain. Karitori very much liked the rainfall. It helped him focus at times. He found a clearing with a tree in the middle. He would test on this tree soon.
He walked towards the tree and then tried to remember the handseals he had to make. The rat, the boar, the dog, the ox, and the tiger. Easy enough, he had thought. Karitori quickly formed the handseals. He stood still watching for something to happen. Nothing. Karitori tried to focus on the puddles and the cold droplets of rain splashing down. He then focused on freezing the ice to the point of snow. He made the handseals and watched as it starts to produce snow in his general area. Still no jutsu.
Karitori had now thought if that didn't work he should try focusing on the making the snow move. He formed the handseals again and the snow stirred. He had to focus more. He knew his anger was getting the best of him. Karitori breathed in the cold nights air. He then exhaled to calm him down. He produced the handseals once more and the snow formed bandage like material. But it didn't even hit the tree. It just fell back onto the slush.
Karitori breathed in and then exhaled once more. He assumed he should now insert more chakra into it to allow the snow to fully come alive. He focuses on his chakra willing the snow to wrap tightly around the tree. He performs the handseals and the snow materializes into a snow like basing then tightly gripping the tree.
Karitori walks towards the tree. Earlier he remembers the scroll saying the jutsu was I breakable by kunai. He takes one out and slides the sharp end across the snow. The kunai pushes through it and the snow falls. Karitori becomes angered again and slowly inhales then exhale once more. He focuses on making the snow cooler. So he imagines the snow becoming colder and harder. He then performs the handseals and the snow yet again materializes into bandages and wraps around the tree fully. Karitori points the sharp end of the kunai and drags it across the jutsu bandages. The bandage keeps hold of its form and doesn't allow the kunai to pass through. This, he thought, is my proof. He grins underneath the mask and walks towards the amegakure gates.
