Since becoming a Shinobi, Asami had pushed herself into doing more missions that would help gain her the experience in dealing with clients as well as combat. Although she was nervous and itching for action, she decided to take her time in her approach and observe rather than intervene. She had come dressed in a dark blue and white yukata, standing upon a pair of wooden geta. Her ink colored hair was swaying loosely within the soft breeze, the tips of her hair brushing gently just above her shoulders.
Although she had little experience in combat, Asami did come prepared for this mission. In her right hand, Asami carried a 50 Ib Draw Composite Bow and a small Hip Quiver filled with one hundred and fifty arrows which was strapped to her back. Despite not having any knowledge in the techniques, her potential targets didn't know that. Approaching the borderline of the village just inside the gates, Asami leaped up into a tree and crouched down low.
Now since she is a marksman, she began to wonder if using her hunting skills will gain her the ability to spot out a person that might be lingering around the village. Since Kumogakure had not long come out of a war, Kumogakure was at a very vulnerable state. Other villages might be aware of this state and could easily come forth to attempt another invasion. By then all of our Shinobi might end up getting wiped out. Now, this was concerning for Asami but what could she do to contribute to the village being at this stage?
Glancing around the trees, Asami began to search for any kinds of movements, or perhaps a shadow that might shoot across on the corner of her eye. Her hearing was rather acute due to being an archer, but her skills and reflexes were in need of work. Asami hoped that she would not have to run into anyone during this day shift. If she could help it at least. Seeing nothing nearby, Asami rose to her full height and decided to leap onto another branch, twisting her body around the tunk and using the indentations of her geta shoes to gain leverage on the branch and her left hand to remain stable, she leaned forward to glance at the ground.
Any signs of foot prints or scarred surfaces could indicate someone is nearby. And to her misfortune, a pair of well hidden show prints were embedded in the soft mud, indicating that a person had not long passed through here. Frowning slightly, Asami dropped down to inspect the print further before raising her head to search the area. The point of the shoe print faced north away from the village. But could it be from another Shinobi performing the same task? Or was it from the enemy?
