As stated in my previous app, I don't have much notable experience on role-playing sites, but I'm willing to put some effort in as a GM. I write well enough in my opinion, and feel I have been active enough lately and will be active enough for the position.

Lightning soared through the sky, and a downpour was just starting in the Land of Thunder. Screams of terror could be heard in this particular location, as three ninja rushed away from the scene. What was seen here would be considered a terror to some, and a tragedy. An elderly man lie dead on the floor of his cabin, just a couple dozen miles away from Kumogakure. Beside him is his wife, also slain by what seemed to be a stab to the groin. The only survivor to be seen here was their grandchild, a young girl by the name of Eme.
The Village Hidden in the Cloud was sent an SOS from this girl, and sent a recon squad out right away. She told her story, and asked that the details of the event be taken straight to the higher ups of Kumogakure, due to the severity of the crime and importance of an item stolen from the home. Upon the return of the squad, and the higher ups of the village hearing the gruesome story they told, a notice has been sent out to the ninja of the village.
This notice requested aid in the retrieval of a stolen artifact; the Crown of Alom. This artifact was told to possess great power, coming from a god that had a part in the creation of the human race altogether. The ninja that stole the crown are known to be highly dangerous, and have a rag-tag group of bandits under their control. It is said they have a hideout a couple of miles away from the cabin the murders occurred in, and the village wants to do everything in its power to find and retrieve the crown.[/center]
