The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each.

The Guitar, Affectionately Named "Ajax"
Character Depth
Personality:
Aimi is a very quiet and unselfish person by nature, keeping almost all that there is to him to himself. He has a hard time trusting other people, as he has met few in his life that were actually willing to trust him. His mistrust for people has morphed his way of thinking over the years into a pessimistic view of the world. This clashes with his wants though, as he wishes only to help people in the ways that he sees best, because in his mind, because of his life's experiences, he believes the ways he sees best to help people are in fact the vest ways to help people and that all should believe the same.
This belief has created a dormant and unbridled anger within Aimi that will surface occasionally, very occasionally. Because he dose not believe in the ways and laws of society as it is today, Aimi is constantly frustrated when he sees things that should be different in his eyes but because of how the world is today is not. Because of this, often times Aimi will think quick, fleeting dark thoughts such as stringing a person up high by the ripped off skin of their fingers for striking someone unjustly. These thoughts, however, are in fact fleeting and the second he thinks them he is usually quick to chase them away before moving on with his life. He dose not usually act on these thoughts because he knows that society would not allow them, and the second he tried he would be brought down.
There is a happier side to Aimi though, aside from all of that anger and frustration. While he has a pessimistic view of people, society and the world, he yearns for the day that all of that is changed and there is a better brighter world in its stead. He dreams of standing in a field of grass and flowers, holding the hands of all those he loves and cares about, looking up at the deep blue sky as the breeze gently blows the hair away from his face, and smiling. That is what he dreams of most; smiling. He so rarely smiles that it is almost a blessing that he remembers how. But if life were more to the way he wanted it to be, if life were a bit brighter in all of the dark, he imagines he might smile more and m ore often. He values beauty, strength, serenity, chaos, elegance, and the over all perfection that is so close at hand and yet is so far away.
Aimi will occasionally have random outburst of happiness and being hyper. When he is like this, there is no real way of knowing what he'll do. He is only out looking for fun and a good time. Sadly though, often after this sudden burst of anger comes a downward slope of sadness and depression that can last for a day or so.
When Aimi sees something of injustice or just something that he generally doesn't agree with, especially in authority, he will go into a state of anger and violence, mentioned earlier in the app. If his anger is at all overflowed, like if he is kept in a room full of people who thought it would be fun to pick on other people for too long, he will grow quiet and scowling, keeping his eyes to the floor at all times unless spoken to, at which time he will glare angrily at whoever speaks to him. When Aimi is like this, one needs to be very careful. Because of his past and his overall personality, when he is like this, he will temporarily no longer care about people knowing he is of the Kaguya clan and will completely annihilate a person if he can, using whatever means necessary even at the cost of revealing his family's heritage.
In summation, Aimi has four main sides to his personality; the default, quiet type that is normal around everyone, smiling occasionally and suppressing bad thoughts. There is the darker, more violent side to him that rarely ever emerges but when it dose is catastrophic to anyone else around. There is the wonderful peace loving side to him that yearns for a world holding hands. And, there is the Kaguya warrior within himself, a warrior dedicated to the elegance of his tribe and the amazing agility at which they fight with at ease. A person will rarely ever see three sides of Aimi, let alone all four. He keeps himself to himself so much that people only ever see his default personality and his warrior personality when he fights.

Appearance:
Aimi's appearance is nothing short of beautiful for a male. He stands at a tall five feet eleven inches with a slender body and pale skin, as though he still had the skin he had worn when he was first born. His dirty blond hair is long, soft and light in the wind, reaching down to his lower back. He keeps it in a pony tail almost constantly, combing all but a little bit of his bangs to the back of his head. What bangs he keeps at the front of his face fall down two inches past his chin. His eyes are a sad grey color, as if the color will return to them once his life is over or he finally obtains all that he desires. His eyebrows are thin and curved downward slightly, only implicating more that happy\sad look upon his face. His nose is a smaller one, barely even extending out past his face. It is almost flat, but in an over all complimentary way. His mouth, a moderate size, houses a pair of small oval shaped lips. Under his lips is a goatee strip less than half and inch wide and stretching down to the bottom of his chin. His face is oval shaped, ending in a rounded chin that juts out slightly, giving him a strong look in his chin. His face and head alone have been said to be not human but instead that of a gods'.
The rest of his body, although complimentary to his face, can not be said the same for. His shoulders are broad and dip inward slightly, making a sort of U shape between themselves and his slender neck. His body is all over skinny with little muscle to be seen and a lot more vein and bone in their stead. In places along his body, like the wrists and the tops of his feet, his veins are plainly visible as are the bones in his wrists, ankles, knees, and elbows. If Aimi were to bend forward without a shirt on, you could see his shoulder blades, rib cage and spine. This may seem unhealthy to some people, but this is just the way that Aimi's body is built. His skin hugs his bones and hides the vast majority of his muscles, as if extenuating his Kaguya heritage. Aimi is so skinny in fact that he is able to suck in his gut so that it is only a few inches thick and his rib cage is fully exposed.
His hands are a bit interesting as compared to the other bone structures in his body. His hands are comparatively small, like his wrists, and his fingers are long with large knuckles. His knuckles are so large that if he holds his fingers straight out and side by side so that they are touching, there is a visible gap of space roughly a couple millimeters long between each of his fingers. He dose not bother to cut his fingernails normally, as they grow much faster than normal people's fingernails to. However, oddly enough, he has not had to cut his toe nails in two years they grow at such a slow rate. It's a little mystery of life he is still puzzled about today, as he was originally under the impression that the calcium in his body was created at the same rate, though his toes and fingers suggest otherwise.
Aimi has a few scars here and there along his body, but nothing extremely disfiguring. There is a long scar running across his left thigh, this was obtained when he was six years old and he slipped on a slope and fell onto a sharp rock down below. There is another small scar on the inner part of his left wrist, less than a quarter inch long. He has no idea where it came from. Lastly, there is a scar across his back from where someone struck him with a long and limber limb as a small child. Other than those three scars, Aimi has perfectly smooth skin all over his body.
Aimi's attire mostly consists of darker colored clothing, a reflection of what he sees the world as. However, it isn't all dark. Here and there, there will be bits of bright colored cloth, symbolism of the good in the world that he wishes to spread. His shirt is that of a dark gray T that depicts a painted red flower. Over this T shirt is a darker grey jacket with a long tail, long sleeves, and a hood. On the back of this jacket is a shower of white and pink flowers, starting at white at the shoulders and working down to a dark pink shade when reaching the end of the jacket. The rim of his hood and the cuffs of his sleeves have a white fur sewn into them, speckled with spots of black. His pants are a shade of black but depict bright sky blue flowers along the legs in a wavy pattern. On his feet is a thin layer of cloth that serves as shoes for him. He can't stand to wear shoes of any kind. He finds them insufferable and unnatural, and has in fact grown used to life without them. Subsequently, the bottoms of his feet are very tough, almost like leather.
Aimi is a member of the Tsubasa, meaning he has a set of wings. His wings are that of the arctic tern, the bird of his choice. When out, they are twelve feet in length from one tip of the feather to the other. They are mostly white as as snow, though the tips of the feathers at the end are tinged grey. To combat wind getting in his eyes and obscuring his vision while in flight, Aimi wears a pair of goggles which he keeps on top of his head when not over his eyes. He keeps his hair pushed up with these goggles which, while wearing them, holding his bangs out of his face.

Background:
The story of Aimi Kaguya's life is one of hardship, as is the life of any Kaguya. Aimi was born in a small village in the land of snow, and his mother died giving birth to him. His father, devastated by the loss, could all but look upon Aimi for three days and nights. When finally he did look upon the face of his child, the only remaining part of his dearly beloved, he was met with a smile and he wept, not for his wife, but for his son whom he named Aimi, the name his wife wished to give their son. For a while after, Aimi and his father were allowed to stay in the village that his mother had died in. They gave her all of the proper funeral rights that they could, but they were a poor village so a proper headstone could not be bought for her. Instead, a wooden cross adorn with her clothing was used instead. It was never to be moved, a constant reminder of what life will do at times.
Aimi's father had to be very secretive about who they were, for he knew that because of his clan's history and heritage and fame they would be run out of the village, but he simply couldn't bare the thought of having his son die out in the snow. The only reason they were in the land of snow was because they had been run out of the village they were in before. Someone had found out that he and his pregnant wife were of the Kaguya heritage and were chased half way across the sea, left to drift until they reached land in the snow. At that time, Aimi's mother was almost in labor and was in need of medical assistance as soon as possible. That is what brought them to that village as Aimi was being born. But now that he was born, Aimi's father was afraid that the villagers would scorn them for being Kaguya and chase them away if they did not leave immediately, even if Aimi was but a newborn. So, to keep themselves safe, Aimi's father would stray away from anyone who wanted to know of their heritage, changing the subject or simply ignoring that bit of conversation when it came to that.
For the first three years of Aimi's life, he and his father lived in and around that village, Aimi always shy and curious, his father always fearful of people discovering who they were. When the time came that Aimi could walk on his own everywhere he went, he and his father left the village that had been so kind to strangers without even knowing their name. His father wrapped his and his sons' feet in traveling cloth and they were on their way. Once, Aimi had asked his father why they didn't wear shoes like everyone else. His father had explained that shoes were restricting on the body, that one couldn't feel the freedom of the land if they could not feel the land itself. Aimi thought that this made sense and brought the subject up no more. For a long while, Aimi and his father traveled on foot through the land of snow, trying to get to the enge of the land to find a port that could take them to warmer land. As they traveled, Aimi's father taught him of their heritage and why it was so important that no one knew who they truly were. He taught them their origins and history, but more than that he taught Aimi why they were the only ones of their clan in sight. He taught Aimi how when he was a younger man he had gone against the ideas of his own father and his father had sent him away. Aimi didn't quite understand why his father had been sent away, because in Aimi's eyes he was a kind and loving father.
Three ports Aimi and his father visited and left before finding a port suitable to them. Aimi asked his father why they had left the ports and he said that 'they weren't friendly places.' Aimi accepted this and moved along with his father. They didn't meet a lot of people on their travels, but they did meet a lot of people at the harbors. The fourth harbor they visited was the biggest one yet. There were so many people there. Aimi was afraid of them all. He wasn't used to seeing so many people. He clung to his father's leg and followed him wherever he went; just wanting to go away from all of these people. His father led them to person after person, trying to figure out information about what boats were going where and when. One of them was a shorter woman who was traveling with her daughter. Her name was Girei Joougekhu. She had big green eyes, red hair, and a delightful smile. Aimi was as shy around her as he was everyone else. He was five when they first met. She called out hello and he hid behind his father's leg. She giggled, that only made Aimi cling to his father more.
Before too long, Aimi and his father were on a ship bound for the land of earth. Aimi was happy to be away from so many people. There were few others on the ship than he and his father. It took them three days to get from where they were to where they were going. In the meantime, Aimi's father taught him about the five dances of his heritage. This was one of the first memories he would muster up later in life. Also on the ship was Girei and her mother. Aimi's father explained to him that they were being kind enough to take them to their village in the land of rivers and would travel with them on foot until they got there, where they would rest and then continue on to their own destination, which was the land of fire. Aimi also learned during the three days on that ship how to be more social with people, as he became more and more familiar with Girei.
For months they traveled together on foot through the land of earth, Aimi's father sticking with Girei's mother and Aimi and Girei sticking closer to each other. At some point, she asked him why his feet were bandaged; she asked if he was hurt. He answered her with the truth, that he wasn't hurt but that he felt more comfortable this way rather than with shoes. She asked him if the ground hurt his feet, he said he was used to it. She was mystified, thinking that Aimi had the toughest feet in the world. At one point in their journey, they were all traveling up a hill, Aimi behind his father who was behind Girei's mother and Girei. The three of them made it to the top just fine. Girei knelt at the top, holding out her hand to try and help Aimi up. Aimi smiled and reached to take her hand. That was when the ground beneath his feet betrayed him and he slid down to the bottom, where his leg connected with a sharp rock, making a gash deep within his leg.
For weeks on end after that, Girei hardly left his side and his father carried him, knowing that he couldn't walk with his leg wounded as it was. His leg was just healing up right when they reached the land of rivers. Girei's mother invited them to stay at their house for a couple of days while they rested. Aimi's father agreed. Girei's mother, though, claimed there was one condition. That condition was that he had to tell her his full name. Smiling sadly, Aimi's father respectfully declined the shelter and continued on his journey with Aimi. Aimi turned adn waved goodbye sadly to Girei, not sure why he was limping away with his father. She waved back, not sure why they didn't share their name. Aimi later that day asked his father why they hadn't shared their name, that they had been nice people and that surely they wouldn't chase them away. Aimi's father took Aimi aside then and showed him for the first time just why the Kaguya was so feared by allt he world. His father rolled up his sleeves and produced a plethora of new and spiked bones out from his arms. "This is why we're feared," Aimi's father explained. "We're feared because we are different, and that difference, combined with our clan's history of violence makes people afraid of us."
"But we aren't violent," Aimi insisted. "We've never hurt anyone in our life." His father gave him a knowing smile then and returned his bones from whence they came. He got down on his knee, put his hand gently on his father's shoulder and said, "It doesn't matter. People won't understand, they won't take the time to listen. You must never tell people who you are, do you understand?" When Aimi had promised that he understood, his father showed him something unique, again for the first time in his life. It was called a Jutsu and it was one that no one but his father supposedly knew. It had been passed down by word from his father and his father before that and his father before that all the way back to almost the very creation of the jutsu. It took a long time, and it looked very painful to Aimi, although his father didn't make a sound out of pain. Finally, after all that time, Aimi watched as his father plunged his hand into his chest and pulled out a whit glob that soon solidified into a bone like substance. His father handed it to Aimi. It was like holding his father's heart in his hand. His father explained that this was the result of their kekkei genkkei, their family heritage, and that it had to be dealt with in that way. Aimi asked if he could do the things that his father could do and his father said yes. Aimi asked his father to teach him ho to use their family’s heritage, and his father reluctantly agreed.
For the better part of a year, Aimi and his father spent time together honing Aimi's abilities as well as his use of the jutsu his father showed him. It was slow work, and a lot of it Aimi didn't understand. But his father promised that in time he would. He explained that their heritage was a poison to their body, and that it could not be forgotten. The jutsu had to be used all the time so as to save themselves from certain death, and Aimi could feel that death coursing through his veins each time he used the heritage of his family. It was painful, each and every time. But in time the pain dulled and Aimi was able to use his family's kekkei genkkei well for his age, though it was nothing compared to his fathers'. The first time Aimi performed the jutsu, it was absolutely excruciating. He begged his father to make the pain stop, but his father said that there was nothing he could do. Aimi would have to endure the pain or die, there was no third option.
Over time and practice, Aimi got used to it all and he began to understand why he and his father never gave people their name. But he also remembered the teachings of his father over time, the teachings of tranquility, peace, and love in a dark world. These teachings were a comfort to him through the pain of it all. When Aimi was plenty adept with his family's heritage, they moved on tot he land of fire with a warning from his father to never, under any circumstances, use their kekkei genkkei when people were around. He made Aimi promise three times over that he would abide by that rule. When he had, they moved on to their destination, a small village in the land of fire.
At this time in life, Aimi was eight years old and he was becoming more and more of the man he would eventually be. He would let his father talk to the people in town while he would ponder over his father's teachings and their heritage, letting the mystery and wonder of it all swirl within his young mind. When he was alone or with his father alone and no one else was looking, he would practice his new found ability with his father, practicing the jutsu when it needed to be applied. It was strange to Aimi though. His father had only ever taught him this one jutsu, but surely there were more. Why wasn’t he teaching him any others besides the one? It wasn’t long before his father taught him another.
One day, Aimi was very sick. It was because of the calcium in his bloodstream, it had become too much. He performed the jutsu taught to him by his father, but there were still great amounts of pain throughout his body, and not the lingering pain that was customary prior to using the jutsu, this was the pain of rough calcium still flowing freely throughout his body. Distressed and not sure what else to do, his father taught him a second jutsu that day, also passed down by his father’s father and on back to close to the actual creation of the jutsu. This jutsu would allow him to convert the excess calcium in his body into usable material again, rather than poison. It was painful and hard, but Aimi did get it after a little bit. It took him so long because he kept hesitating, knowing full well that even a slight mistake would cause catastrophic effects on his body. He had to be perfect in performing the jutsu, or else it could kill him. From then on, this was the jutsu that Aimi focused mostly on using.
One day, he and his father were discovered.
Returning back to their temporary home after practicing and cleansing his body for the day, Aimi came around the front of the home that the village they were staying in had been gracious enough to give him only to find that the door had been broken off of it’s hinges and the inside was a mess. Not seeing his father inside, Aimi made for the village, already fearing the worst. When he got there, he found his father surrounded by a crowd of people. They were throwing things at him and beating him with sticks and clubs. Terrified for the well being of his father, Aimi broke through the crowd and covered his father’s broken and bleeding body. Someone in the crowd recognized Aimi as their victims’ son and slashed at his back with a slender limb, flaying his flesh open. Aimi gave a yell of surprise and pain that didn’t last long. It was nothing when compared to the pain of dealing with the calcium poisoning. Before long, he was torn away from his father’s body and told to leave the village as fast as his legs could carry him. When he refused, his father stepped in and told him to leave as well. When Aimi claimed he wouldn’t leave without his father, the villagers killed him by slitting his throat, saying that now that his father was gone he had nothing left here in this village and that he should go. Aimi never did learn why they were beating his father in the first place. It turned out that one of the children of the village had seen him practicing his family heritage, had gone back and told their parents, who recognized the description of the Kaguya for what it was, and organized the rest of the village to run them out of town.
However, upon seeing the sight of his father’s dead body, a great anger was awakened in Aimi. With a roar of pain and rage, he summoned up as much bones as he could upon his body to make himself as deadly a weapon as possible, shredding most of his clothes to bits in the process. He tore into the crowd then, lashing out with his deadly bones in anger and hate, trying to get to the lifeless body of his father. What happened in those few minutes is still a blur to Aimi to this day. All he remembered was getting to his father, picking up his body and running away with him. He didn’t look back and he didn’t know what sort of damage he had caused to the villagers. When he was safely out of the reach of the village, he sat his father’s body down and wept for him and his father had wept for his mother long ago. When pain took over his entire body, he performed the jutsu his father had taught him and took the excess calcium from his body and threw it away, but it wasn’t enough. He could feel there was more inside of him. Not wanting to create more deadly appendages, as his anger had subsided, he instead worked on performing the jutsu again, pulling out what was left of it and holding it in his hands. He remembered the first time his father showed him this, he remembered how he had thought it was like holding the heart of his father in his hands and how surreal it all felt to him. Soon after he buried his father underneath a sakura tree with the little ball of condensed calcium on top of his chest.
As he buried him, Aimi thought about a lot of things, most of which he can’t remember now. Mainly, he thought about the teachings of his father and how he had broken them today with his outburst of anger. For that he was sorry, for he felt he had somehow insulted his father in his last moments. What he could recall was the look of peace on his father’s face as he placed the ball of calcium on his chest. Aimi climbed out of his father’s grave, filled it up, and sat in front of it for the longest time, thinking over many things, trying to think with a mind unclouded by hatred and despair as his father had taught him to do. He realized then that it truly didn’t matter who he was with or where he was, people were always going to be afraid of him because of his family’s history. Never before had the full weight of that statement settled in on Aimi. It began to rain then, and the rain only seemed to drive the point home. For a while more he sat in front of the grave of his father, thinking; just thinking. He would get up to find food and drink and then return to sit and think, his mind forming into the shape that it would take in the future. He came to a compromise with all that had happened in his life after three days. He would continue to live out his life the way that his father had taught him to do, with love and serenity in his heart and being. But he would also live his life with the realization that the world was always going to be cruel to him, and that nothing he could do would change that. And since nothing he could do could change that fact, there was no point in trying. If the rest of the world wouldn't change for him, fine, he would not change for the rest of the world either. He would eternally be on a collision course with how society viewed him and his entire family, but to do that he would need to be stronger than he was.
Having decided what he would do, Aimi stood up from his father’s grave where he had sat and slept for the past few days and walked away silently, heading towards his future. Over the next few weeks, he would gather information from various people as to where the closest ninja village was so that he could go there to learn and become stronger so that he could defend the teachings of his father and his view on life. Incidentally, he was just on the border of the land of grass where their ninja village was hidden in the grass. This was where he headed, and this is where he began his training as a ninja and where he graduated from the academy and became a genin. He was still a genin at the age of eighteen because the three times he had taken the exam before it had become too strenuous on his body to deal with his ever present disease and keep his heritage a secret. Twice he made it to the third part of the chunin exams, only to become too exhausted or too weak to continue and thus had to drop out before ever even competing. So, he still trains today to become strong enough to finish the exams and become a chunin.
