Apparently Wee Jas was an intermediate level deity… well clearly this was some manner of joke, it was common knowledge to everyone in religion that she was much higher ranking than intermediate. It was understandable however as Wee Jas stored a vast chunk of her power in a hidden well, thus artificially lowering her own power level. Why, well it did prevent other deities from attacking her realm to adsorb her power. In truth Kenji had no idea, it wasn’t his place to judge the decisions of a god.
At least they got the symbol correct, it was in fact a red skull wreathed in flames. Kenji knew this already, and had the insignia on a chain as was custom for members of this religion. It was quite common for these pieces to be very intricate in design showing the jewellery in their hair with the hood on the cleric robes purposely left down so that all could see the sign of their god.
Kenji couldn’t help but wonder where the book had gathered all of this information from. Surely the author must have spent years completing this information for each individual god, never mind the other books in the series. Perhaps his name was just an alias for a group. It seemed hard to imagine that one person could have done all of this after all. Kenji was given the rare chance to devour the information, assimilating it into his very core via the use of his eidetic memory.
