Waterfall valley

Deep in the country of cloud is a spot that not many come across as it vary much a hard to reach spot. it has massive waterfalls, and it has a steep tiny ridge that you must climb to make it to this remote valley. when you make it to the ledge you come a sheer cliff with a lot of mist in it,as its above the water fall opening. the area is quiet, and this is where Loki has come to, make her home, and a library in a couple near by caves.

[Loki 'The Seeker']

Loki's outfit that she is wearing today is a loose fitting blue dress. This dress leaves her shoulders bare and open for the weather to bear down on her exotic skin while her sleeves are worn down to her wrists at her hands with large openings there, giving a church look to her. Then her dress is skin tight at the top, to allow it to stay on her body as she is a really curvy female. then she has two long sashes, with musical note pattern sewn into the pair of them. there is on each shoulder one sash, each one flowing down to the floor. She has a large hooded robe that she is wearing over top of her outfit, it is a bark blue, almost black in color, and course to the touch. The robe would be hiding in side of it, Sling shot that has 40 lb. Draw, and on her back a tactical transceiver. In the pockets of the robe would be 30 Hira-Shuriken, 20 pieces of Flint, one flashlight and two kunai. On her right side of her backside would rest a buttbag, it contained 15 Lock Pick Sets of 8 pieces each, 80 Tags that Lock, 15 Pouches that has Goo in them, one scroll map of the known world, one compass that is Lensatic, one holodisk for recording. in her hands would be her two forest books.

Entering, she would make her way along the ledge of the cliff and once reaching the first space wider then the ridge she would glance over the edge at the waterfall. it seemed off. moving forward on the path, she would make her way down to the tiny little beach. placing her books on a clean rock that was dry, she would strip down to skin leaving her clothes with her weapons and books. she would then go clean herself in the pond like area that was slightly a pool off tothe side, a small opening to a cave. the area was peaceful. her hands scrubbed at herself. wading back out she would dry her hair slightly, and then air dry for tiny little bite and then she would dress. once her clothes were back on, she would pick up her stuff and make her way to behind the waterfall to explore.

Maasaa had arrived on the shore of Kaminari no Kuni not long ago by boat. He didn’t really have a sense of direction despite owning a compass. His purpose was exploration and adventure; whatever waited ahead he would deal with as it came. From the shore Maasaa headed deeper into the countryside which lead him to a dense forest. It reminded him of the forests in grass country but the air smelled different.

Upon Maasaa’s head he wore a light brown cowboy hat which rests upon his black hair. His body was wrapped in a white cloak owned by a previous master of his. With the cloak were 5 hidden stun grenades. Underneath his cloak you would see several layers of Maasaa’s clothing. He wears a beige sleeveless vest that had straps on the shoulders as well as buttons all the way down the center of it. Underneath the vest he wore two separate shirts. One was a long sleeved blue t-shirt that showed the obvious dirt of his travels. As much as he tried to keep it clean it seemed impossible. Maasaa wears black cargo pants with several pockets on both sides. Around his waist is a utility belt that serves as his belt and a container for many weapons. Inside the utility belt are 4 kunai, 30 hira-shuriken, 32 makibishi, 2 frag, 1 smoke, 2 goo, 1 incendiary, and 2 stun grenades as well as 5 thermal capsules. On his left hip was a butt bag filled with 15 knives and on his right hip was a sheath containing a black katana.

As he traveled through the dense forest a strange sound reached his ears. The sound was falling water. Maasaa’s curiosity was peaked wondering where the running water was coming from so deep in the countryside. Using his ears he followed the sound as it got louder. Although the sound was still far he came across a rather barren but mountain path. It was a start and Maasaa began to follow and climb up the mountain. As he climbed and made his way through the ridge and to the ledge he noticed the mist filling the air. What he saw next brought a smile to his face. Water.

He’d stumbled upon a hidden paradise deep in the countryside. By the time Maasaa had found this secret place he saw another person who gathered a variety of items and books. There was another person here! His eyes widened in a bit of excitement and worry. Had he stumbled upon a secret hideout? Maasaa would move down the path towards the tiny beach trying to keep a safe distance between him and the other. Before he was going to make himself known he wanted to try to get a feel for this stranger.

Loki moved about marking off somewhat straight lines in the dirt, this was home, where she would live and thrive, she paused spotting something. Moving to the back of the over hang, she would find a dry place, placing her books on a large stone, and her hands move to shrug off the radio to set down near the books. She would would then turn about, looking for a smaller stone. There was cave opening in the back of the hang over that she had spotted before unloading. She found a stone and flung it into the cave, it yield nothing so far.

She would have to explore it later, her halo would appear and move to the opening and glow there a light blue color. Her hands would move to pull a halo out of the air to start to chip away at the the rock with a halo, to show a saying on the side of the opening,

Perplexity is the beginning of knowledge. 

She was working on Perplexity when she paused and looked back at the cave opening. She was going to make this place work, and she hadn't been inside of it as of yet. This would be interesting.

Exploring at its finest.

Maasaa had been trying to keep about a twenty meter distance between him and this unknown women. As she went behind the waterfall Maasaa picked up his pace closing the gap between them. He looked at the scenery that was hidden behind this waterfall. The area this girl was in was quite amazing. It had so many secrets he knew nothing about. His eyes widened as a halo appeared by her and she was using it to carve into a rock. An interesting technique but Maasaa had decided he’d hidden for long enough. He had observed a fair amount and was semi-confident that she wouldn’t attack him on first sight. Even with that newly created Halo.

Loki’s back was to his own as she carved the words into the rock. He’d shortened the distance down to a simple 3 meters. This distance would be better for talking he hoped. If he’d gone unnoticed Maasaa would speak up using a calm medium voice, ”Hello there, I hope I’m not intruding.” If she turned to look at him he’d tip his cowboy hat to her, ”My name is Maasaa, this is quite the place you have here.”

Loki would be working on the saying when she would pause and look over her work. Maybe once she got the work done, she would able to be someone important to someone else, like Aoshi thought that woman Saara was important to him. She had to wonder what he was up to, but the past was staying in the past, it meant little now, she just had to make sure the same mistakes didn't happen again. She started to look though her bag for something to hold water, water made rocks softer to cut into, and didn't dull her blades on the halo. Plus she was thirsty for a drink, so, thus she turned around looking for a cup or something in that magical bag of hers. She wouldn't look up from her hunt when he came out of hiding. She waited while he moved closer to get him into speaking range. He would speak, she did not show a sign of being startled, she just merely grumbled slightly at her bag. Trading the cup for paper may have not been the best idea, but least she had pages on different topics.

"You wouldn't happen to have a container that could water on your person would you?"

As usual, offering her name, didn't come to her, most of the time, she was call 'the woman' that she had almost forgotten what a name was, it was a title given to someone that no one else had, and she didn't feel like explaining why she had the chaos title so, names were, almost meaningless for her by now.

Maasaa wasn’t quite sure what the woman was working on but when he finally spoke up a feeling of relief went through him. Whoever she was she didn’t seem startled or dangerous which allowed him to relax more. He watched her search her bag rather unhappily walking up to her now. Her question seemed strange to him what did she need water for? Thinking about it he didn’t have a container of his own not even a cup. Then he realized he did have something she could use. He wasn’t quite sure if he wanted that getting wet though.

”I do have something you can use. You can use my hat to gather water. It’s not the best container. It does come with a price. What’s your name? I’d like to know whose hideaway I’m intruding on.”

Maasaa grinned as he removed the cowboy hat from his head. His jet black hair was a little sloppy from the hat. However it didn’t seem like that big of a deal to him. Maasaa held out his right hand towards the woman to hand her his hat if she wanted it.

Loki would glance at his hat before she would shake her head at his offer, her mind ticked a little as she wondered what she could use to make a cup really fast. It was in this second she wished she could move the water from the waterfall to the rock she was working on. She would have to suck it up, the halos would little use to her in this part of this lifetime. She finally spoke,

I’ll have to pass on the hat, what is in name? People call me many things, you can for now, call me Psych. Somehow I think water will ruin that hat. Now, what do you want?

she would turn back to the hard stone wall and went back to carving her words in the stone. the hands each holding a halo now, her hands moving in time with each other. soon the first word could be seen.

Maasaa watched as she thought about his offer. It would work as a container and he was sure it would dry after a short period. The weather was rather nice, the sun was shining all things in his favor for drying. However she had made her decision and the answer was no. Before she finished her answer he placed the hat back on his head listening to her go on. what is in a name? Maasaa pondered the strange question as he was told a name he could call her.

Now what do you want? Another strange question that Maasaa didn’t truly have an answer for. He watched her turn around, in response Maasaa circled to her right side to see what work she was doing as he thought of an answer. ”I wanted to find something interesting…and I have. This place.” Maasaa was still trying to find an answer to the first question but let it slip out of his mind, ”I roam from place to place, but I like this place. I haven’t seen anything like this.” He watched her carving into the stone which brought out the curiosity of Maasaa ”So Psych, why are you out here? What are you working on all alone in this little hidden paradise? It certainly wasn’t easy getting here.”

Loki grunted as she moved to start the next word, “is” short and soon moved to completeion for that tiny two lettered word before she would look up at kid as she had just finished the letter “s” and her head dripped slightly as it was wet with water and sweat before she would move to place her books in front of her to protect them from the element water.

"Your a fellow Nomad as myself then. I happened to the area with some difficulty, but unlike you, I was looking for someplace, to live in secret. I don’t know, if I should let you live under the curse of a promise or kill you, personally, I am leaning to you never telling a soul that I live here. Your young, I am sure you would figure out how never to tell anyone that I live here really."

She stressed about living here, over hiding a library from this kid. But unknown to the pair, there lurking in the shadows of the trees above watching them, was something or someone that lived here first. And it was a little angry at the pair that they were there in its home and watering hole.

His eyes watched her careful work as he tried to observe the strange woman to get a feel for her. Somewhat mysterious and unreadable. However their conversation continued giving him some important information. Although she wasn’t violent right now it seemed she wasn’t too happy he stumbled upon her hideaway home. At the mention of the word kill his right hand did drop down to rest upon the hilt of his black katana.

Even if it was an empty threat Maasaa didn’t appreciate it and wanted to be prepared. He still knew very little about this woman, Psych, but she could still be dangerous despite her current passive nature. Maasaa needed to find out more.

”What are you hiding from? What would make you want to live life alone? I roam from place to place in hopes of finding new things and people. You seem to be quite the opposite.”

Moving back to her work, she listened to him as he asked, some partly intelligent questions, she couldn’t understand him in his line of questions really. Loki glanced up at the boy again as she had gone back to work on her words she finally spoke softly,

People. Life lessens handed to me. I roam to find a place to dwell with vary little people. You speak the truth.. we are opposites in the reasons of why we roam. But I am fair, I may have to move again later, people may come to this place again... I rather not deal with people currently.

In her life, people are made her life into a chaotic place, her own father was in the plains of limbo because of his sin of trying to protect the village the best he knew how and she didn't know about this. The things he wished to tell her, like about the almost ghost centaur close at hand.

The centaur moved down the ridge slowly as to not to make any noise as he would sniff the air as he would make his way to the beach, his hand reaching for his sword, his lips in a snarl as he would suddenly make a scream, that would unearthly in nature and seemed to come from all places in the valley. He would make his way around to stand at the bottom of the bank behind them a mere 15 feet. His body was compressed of blue air type compounds and other such elements to create a light glow between the dead quiet armor it wore. It wished to have its home back or be sent to the next world. It spoke in a tongue no one knew. But it made signs by pointing at the cave.

It didn't know what tongue they spoke.

Maasaa listened to the responses given to him while she continued to work. The answers were strange not something he could exactly relate to or understand. However she seemed motivated to make this isolated place her own. Everyone had goals even if they didn’t like people or giving out their own name. ”Maybe I’ll understand when I’m older. I’m sure you’ve experienced more than I have in my life time.”

He didn’t get to speak long before a rather nasty scream pierced the air for both of them to hear. His entire body turned away from Psych and with just a bit of chakra his black eyes changed color. The color shifted to a dark red and two tomoes could be seen in each of his eyes. Maasaa had a unique dojutsu that he was learning to use without understanding any of its history. His red eyes fixed on the beast it was strange something that Maasaa had never seen before. ”Not a friend of yours I’m guessing.” That didn’t stop his thought process on how best to attack. He noticed the armor that was upon the beast and his hands flew through a quick set of handseals. Upon finishing he brought a mass of his chakra to the two fingers in his right hand and pointed them at the beast almost like a gun. Aiming carefully he released the chakra in a blast aiming it at its midsection.

During it’s firing Maasaa began molding chakra in his left hand to create a lightning bolt within it. His right hand reached back down to grip his katana which was still sheathed. Maasaa wanted to see how this beast would react to his initial attacks. How powerful was it?

Raiton: Raikou Kenjuu no Jutsu - Lightning Release: Lightning Revolver Technique [30]

Effect: A higher powered variation of the Raikou Yama no Jutsu.
Special: "Handseals".
Drawback: --
Description: Concentrating their chakra to more of a pinnacle point and gathering it in a singular mass, the user can shoot a concentrated ball of lightning with speed equal to that of a weapon being thrown. Unlike Raikou Yama no Jutsu, this can carry some serious damage potential, leaving second degree burns and can penetrate up to one inch of human flesh. The full charge takes four movements to prepare, with one movement removed each class the user is above C.

Zeus's Bolt [30]

Effect: The user is able to make a three foot long lightning bolt in their hand which they can throw at that opponent.

Drawback: None
Description: By focusing chakra in the center of the palm the use is able to send lightning from the center of the palm to make a three foot long lightning bolt in their hand which is able to be thrown like a javelin.
Limit: Lightning Release Skill (Raiton no Jutsu).

Her eyes glanced at the boy as he spoke, maybe, but he might be lucky, and like people in general. Her eyes were drawn to the foot of the slope. There was a bizarre looking beast on the bottom of the slope. Her lips moved as she stood up,

hardly, more likely the owner of the cave.

Around the pair there started to appear halos, about 6 total as they floated around the pair on the top of the hill, as he attacked the beast with lightning no less. Her eyes watched to see the effects of the attack would do to the beast.

His foot prints would show slowly as he pranced around, it wasn’t until he was hit by the lightning that he gave a scream at the boy, and without giving a sign, it started to become colder, and the water started to freeze on rocks as it hit it, as he brought down the temps. He watched them he would point at the water, making the edges freeze as he moved up the hill. He spoke in a inhuman voice that they could understand every second word, so they under the following words,

Seiðr Halo

Effect: The user creates a Halo made out of chakra near their body.
Special: ---
Drawback: These halo have no effect on the world unless jutsu are used with them. The bright glow makes stealth hard if not impossible.
Description: The user creates a bright glowing Halo made out of chakra with a diameter of 100 centimeter near their body. The colour of the glow can be altered by the user. Per time learned, one is capable of creating another Halo. When first created, a Halo will appear within a meter from the user, and from then on tend to swirl about behind their back unless they are used. The user can move these Halo through the air as they please as long as they are within eyesight.
Limit: Clan jutsu.

Maasaa noticed the halos being created around them. He wondered what kind of abilities Psych knew that could help ward off this beast. His lightning hit but didn’t seem to do much but with his lightning bolt now complete Maasaa didn’t ask questions. He hurled the lightning bolt towards the beast and then reached into his utility belt to pull out 2 goo grenades. Moving closer to the entrance of the cave Maasaa chucked the grenades in front of the centaur in hopes of trapping it under the goo.

With his sharigan focused on the beast Maasaa moved closer hoping to have caught the beast. His hands would move through a set of handseals. Upon completion Maasaa left hand would cup his mouth and he would shoot flames from his mouth with the intention of enveloping the beast in flames to bring it’s menace and trouble to a toasty end. While his left hand cupped and Maasaa blew out fire his right hand grabbed the katana sheath pointing the blade away from the centaur. The adjusted one hand grip waited for the next move.

Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique) [C rank starter 2]

Effect: The user is capable of performing a few handseals in which gives them the capability of blowing a large body of fire in size of a large sphere that has great fire proportions and explosive capabilities.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending on the Rank, is dependent on how strong or how much the user is capable of doing with the Goukakyuu no Jutsu.
Description: The user quickly performs a few handseals. The user then places the hand over their mouth creating a small like circle. This technique in turn is then to help the user control the great flame. The use then blows out and creates a large fireball that twice the size of a normal human body. When the "C" Rank version is first learned the user is only capable of blowing out the Great Fireball that is cannot be moved or go anywhere else. This also means that the technique does not explode in a fiery explosion, but burns greatly to anyone that is caught within the technique. When the user learns the "B" Rank version then the user is capable blowing the Great Fireball into the distance, sending it away from the use it to hurl towards the very opponent. This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing damage that is even more devastating.

Hitoshirenu no Shisei (Rear Hidden Posture) [5]

Effect: A stance with a sword held behind the body.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Hitoshirenu no Shisei is the most deceptive of the six stances of Gyakusatsu and offers the highest peak of surprise attacks. The user brings his/her sword down to the waist pointing away to the rear of the body in order to hide the full length of the blade and only show the pommel to the opponent. The hands are held with the dominate hand at the hilt. The user's feet are opposite of the hands with the dominate foot in the rear of the stance.
Limit: Gyakusatsu

The beast allowed itself to be hit by the lightning bolt, it throw back its head and gave a large belly laugh as the current leap through his veins. If anything it seemed to make him bigger as he seemed to be freezing the still water near by as he smiled up at the boy who seemed to be the main attacker, then blowing his breath at the boy, it would fall short of the boy a couple feet, but as it fell to the ground, it showed that his breath was making the ground itself frozen and the plants freezing in the middle of the autumn season looking out of place. He again laughed at the boy, then speaking,

“Me, Ormi. Demon .. of .. Ice. Lightning fun.”

Loki finally looked blandly interested in this thing, as it breathed ice. She moved to stand up and then as he threw the goo pouches at the four legged demon. They would make him stick to the ground as he froze the things near his feet. He whined at the pair as if to say no fair. But then the boy throw out a fireball at the beast, since he was goo'd to the floor of the ground, he couldn't move, so he was hit by the fire ball. As it started to hit him that his armor seemly melted off himself leaving him behind in his horse glory. they could now see a couple details about the horse and the male half of the figure. he tried to rear again this time pulling out a hoof from the goo and with a stomp on the ground he would start to send out along the top of the ground seeping through it ice. preparing for another attack is what he looked like he was doing.

Loki on the one hand wanted to save the beast, but she didn't have a thing to stop this from happening or so she thought. she whivered slightly as she watched the fight, this was her first form of combat to date in a long time. she still just stared at the beast, before she suddenly spoke, slightly in awe of his power and in pity,

"Do we really need to kill him?"

Ormi stilled as she asked that question, and he looked up at the woman with this look of, ‘did you just ask this?’ a look of mix of shock and disbelief covered his face for half a second.

The beast… rather demon introduced himself and after eating several of his lightning attacks Maasaa knew they were useless. This was rather annoying because some of his stronger attacks were lightning. However with his fire attack successful it seemed the metal armor that the demon once had was gone. The woman Maasaa had met said something that surprised him and Ormi. ”Do we really need to kill him?” Both him and ormi gave Psych the same look but they had different reasons. Maasaa pointed his katana at the demon and spoke to her, ”If he’d come here and asked nicely then maybe we could figure something out. But this thing… demon of ice sure acts like he wants a fight. I intend to keep my life so I will give him one.”

With that Maasaa charged forward at the beast who was trying to free itself from his goo grenades. Maasaa shifted his grip on the katana so that both of his hands held it. As he moved into striking distance Maasaa swung his sword horizontally to cut through the belly of the beast. Immediately after he brought the sword up to bring it down with a horizontal slash aiming to cut from the top of the demon’s right shoulder down across his chest. When this combination was completed Maasaa would hop a step back in preparation. He needed to rid himself of the danger that was ormi. With the step back from Ormi Maasaa would be able to charge back towards him with the sword aiming to stab the demon through its gut. However this was a feint. As he charged Maasaa yelled to draw attention to the attack but quickly raised his arms and swung his sword aiming to cleave the head of the demon from its shoulders. Perhaps they didn’t need to kill him but Maasaa didn’t see another solution.

Effect: The swordsman uses a feint and striking sword combination.

Description: Nibai Sutoro-ku is a Taijutsu technique where the attacker moves towards an enemy with a feint striking attack in order to draw attention away from the second striking attack at the enemy's head.

Noticeably Loki seemed unfazed by his answer to her, it was the beast that tried to make a try at living at the end of the boy's talk, he started to say something but it came out in a long line of words that they couldn’t understand. What they really needed in this second was a Babel fish but it was not part of their world or that they even knew of it, Loki just knew, she wanted to know what she had just heard.

she would drop her halos out of the sky as she would connect the halodisk into the radio and as the beast pleaded with the boy again, speaking still. hitting record she would go for his words. he seemed to trying to say something important to her ears at least..

"უფალო ისმინე ჩემი ლოცვა. და მოდით ჩემი ტირილი შენდა მოვალ. შეიძლება უფალი იყოს შენ. და შენი სული."

it would be then, the first blow would be placed onto the beast, the beast itself tried to defend, but it was out of offensive moves to defend with so he flinched but since his feet were still stuck, he would be stuck and cut, before he would dealt a killing blow to his head. his body would slowly melt and vanish away into the water. the ice around them, would stay for a couple seconds before it would melt into the ground. she would hit stop and she would look at the young man, and she would speak, gently,

"well... that escalated quickly."

[maasaa]

[Sorry for the ungodly wait. I’ll keep up]

The beast had tried to say something to him as Maasaa moved in to perform his final assault. The slices on the body would hit their mark cutting deep before the beast, Ormi demon of Ice would meet his end. A sword piercing the head would cause the body to melt and vanish away from sight. Stabbing his katana into the ground he rest his hands upon the hilt of the handle. Turning he would face Psych to hear her comment. ”Would you really have had me spare his life? That demon, Ormi sure seemed dangerous but I didn’t come to argue morals. I just want to know, what would you have done if our places were swapped? If you were face to face with that angry demon.” His eyes scanned over Psych trying to gauge her answer and reaction to his questions and responses.

[Loki 'The Seeker']

Loki put away her couple of items as he would speak to her, she would glance up at him before she would speak,

"sometimes.. it is better to run the fish out, and see what his limit is, before you reel him in for the catch. Plus he did claim this was his home I believe, so technically if you think about it, we are the ones in the wrong if this is right, I haven’t looked in the cave yet. so.. the beast could have been telling the truth."

She would go back to her writing in the wall. Her hand would move to place its self over the words she was creating. She spoke softly,

"Personally, I would talked him out of fighting. He look committed to fighting or rather defending, plus he seemed to be giving it all him had for the ice release he had. If that was his all, then I could have rendered him without some body parts if needed. But I would have stuck up a deal and and ended it peacefully. I would have liked to have studied him he seemed to be intrusting."

her face betrayed no remorse over the subject's death, just a strange light in her eye as she would place a hand over the halodisk with its contents safely tucked away.
