Weather: The temperature is around the mid 70’s. Clouds are scattered about in the air, filtering the otherwise strong sunlight shinning from above. Because of this, any shadows cast tend to stray far from the caster. A slight but comfortable breeze caresses the skin leaving the humidity all but negligible.
Environment: Deciduous forest, early autumn. Leaves are tinged in a browning gold, leaving very little green on the branches of trees. Shrubbery and flora litter the low ground areas where rabbits and other small animals occasionally squabble about when disturbed. There are many tall trees of random heights and widths, some standing as high as 30 meters, with the mean range of heights varying about 20 meters high. They are scattered in loose clumps, occasionally separated by small clearings or main roads that pass through. Through the forest’s center is a deep river with a relatively fast moving current. Width wise, it is 5 meters wide. Near its banks are large boulders standing at about 3-4 meters. The forest itself stretches on for miles. The landscaping varies upon smooth, rising to slightly hilly elevation then fall back to low lands near the river then stays bump upon the entire east side.
IC:
Adjusting his sword upon is back, the former kage observed his surroundings carefully. He’d been following the trail of a deer for the past hour, when he suddenly came upon the tracks of a person. Gender, age, or weight was relatively unknown, but the tracks were made only a few hours ago, and progressed slowly away north east. He’d have to engage this figure and quite soon. As he pondered upon his choices, he shifted the mist headband adorning his head so that it slightly cover the two scars upon his head. The robe he wore over his triple utility pouch lay draped over his shoulders and tied very loosely. His shinobi sandals and tabi were fitted properly, nearly overshadowed by the brown hakama fitted to his legs. Over his right shoulder, his falcon mask was strapped, yet to be worn today.
Reaching through his equipment, he checked to make sure everything was there. In his left side pouch, he had 4 kunia, 1 knife, 40 exploding tags and 32 makabishi. In his right pouch, he had 30 hira-shuriken 3 blood clot pills, 3 soldier pills and 1 gas mask with a d filter equipped. On his back pouch, here was also a triple utility pouch loaded with 57 senbon, an odd number, but one he’d never done anything else with. Hidden within his triple utility pouch was a known world map, his bingo book, and 3 old leaf headbands from old assignments. Within his robe, was the walkie-talkie he always carried, pre set to receive messages from 1 of his 2 preset frequencies, and turned on. Within his robe, he had 2 doses of wizards temptation and a few sinquoia leaves. Lastly, he had his main armories. These consisted as a pair of grieves upon both legs, one custom fitted battle gauntlet on his left hand, and a piston gauntlet upon his right. This didn’t include the tenkyo buryoku nestled upon his back, the Tokihaga sheathed on his waste, to the right of his belt, or the Kyuushi, suited to his left side, tilted at a slight angle.
Getting cold feet already? Enemy hasn’t shown hide or tail yet.
Nonsense. Either way, I intend to do this without rousing Aclime. So settle down.
Aye, whatever you say “Sandaime-sama”. Bwa ha ha ha
Quieting his other self, he prepared himself for this conflict. With the risiduals of a recent fire, he burned a sinquoia leaf and inhaled the smoke. Once he began to feel time dilating, he doused the fire with some water from the river. While he did that, he chewed on a piece of the wizards temptation. Once he did that, he psyched up all his senses and hid his presence. He began following this trail, continuing to do so until he was about 100 meters away from him, still following the river.Passives

Rank: Rare, Large
Type: Herb, Rural, Summer, Bodily Function
Effect: An herb that messes with the user's perceptive of time.
Special: Preparation: 1 hour ; Duration: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The red leaves of this unusually twisted tree should be burned and the smoke inhaled. This will have the effect of ‘dilating’ time (making it appear to pass slower.) For every minute experienced outside the influence of the herb, only 30 seconds will pass. A single dose is effective for 8 hours. Normally used by torturers to prolong agony, the leaves may also be used by people who must think quickly. It does not increase the speed at which a person moves (Under its influence all movement will seem sluggish), and does not impart any bonuses in combat for this reason, (you may see the blow coming more easily, but you will still be unable to avoid it.) Herb consists 16 doses.
