So I recently purchased a book.
Now when I purchased the book I knew from the start it is complete bull. It is something that should not be taken serious and yet it is marketed as fact. The book is called The Encyclopedia of Dim-Mak: The Main Meridians by Erle Montaigue.
I knew it was bullshit and the first page actually proved it. I wanted to share this with you because of how hilarious it sounded.
The very first page is a warning. The first warning is Misuse of the information, such as if you do this without professional supervision and training they are not responsible. Easy stuff. Then the next paragraph brought up "Plagiarism"
It says and I quote...
Oh the bullshit runs deep with this one here. This tells me that everything he wrote is crap, or at least some of it is crap. So much so that he's willing to say that any further publications on a Martial Art is based off of him and only him.

The information on dim-mak provided in this book is protected under international copyright law and may not be used in any other publication without permission from the author. This statement is necessary here to because there are those who will consider plagiarizing the information—changing it slightly, perhaps—and then claiming that it was common knowledge. However, the information on dim-mak in this book is not common knowledge, as this is the first time it has ever been presented in physical form. Prior to this publication, this knowledge was only ever passed on by word of mouth and personal teaching from master to student. So when any of the dim-mak information turns up in other publications, it shall be clear where it came from, no matter how hard the plagiarizer tries to hide the fact.
Anyone who wishes to include this information in any publication, be it a national magazine, an in-house newsletter, or a book, must contact the author, Earle Montaigue, prior to doing so. In most cases permission will be granted just as long as acknowledgement of the information's origin is included.
