Blood Transfusion Technique

Effect: A technique devised to enable a blood transfusion between two people without the need of materials.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The user first makes a small incision near a vein in the target, and another small incision to a volunteer using the Chakra Scalpel technique. The user then places both one hand on each target where they made an incision. The Chakra Scalpel does not cause bleeding so there will be no mess. Having 1 hand on each target the user forces the chakra into their hands emitting a light blue-green color. The user then brings their hands together creating a "string" of chakra connecting to each target. The user touches their index and middle fingers together "tethering" the 2 strings together, creating a thin tube made out of chakra. The user can then force blood out of one chakra and into another creating a Blood Transfusion. Please note that the two targets must have compatible blood types as there can be complications if blood types are not compatible.
Limit: Must be a Medical Doctor. Must know Chakra Scalpel.

Sano and Nieve had been training punches for what seemed like hours. When Sano had finally called it quits for the day, they heard an immense scream rip through the still, cold air of the tundra. The dark haired master medic knew that someone was in incredible pain just by the specific tones of his voice. Leading her daughter forward, both women hurried forward toward the sound that had come. A man was laying down in a pool of his blood, the crimson life liquid staining the ivory flakes all around the ground. Nieve instantly knew what had happened. The man had literally impaled himself on his own sword! Sano knelt next to the man and removed the sword in one quick movement, throwing it away before she applied her hands to his chest, knitting the wound back together. "He's lost too much blood, I have the same blood type, you'll have to do a blood transfusion by syphoning my blood into a chakra tube and inserting it directly into his body." Sano explained. Nieve was impressed her mother had been able to know she had the same blood type as the man, but on top of that she was coaching her into a delicate medical nin surgery? "Use the chakra scalpel to make a tiny incision in my vein, and then in his." Sano ordered.

The blue haired kunoichi stretched her hand toward the nameless man and created a small chakra scalpel and made a quick incision, the technique did not cause any blood to flow or skin to break. The did the same thing to her mother who did not even flinch. Another way to make Nieve be proud to be her mother's daughter. She continued the technique by slowly focusing her chakra out of her body, from out incision, generating a tube of the glowing energy to go directly into her mother's incision. It was delicate work, slow work as she did not want to overdo it. Taking a deep breath she heard her mother. "Slow, steady, careful." The dark haired woman whispered.

Soon there was a string of chakra connecting both her mother and the man on the ground. Only a medic had that type of chakra control. The future scientist kept the tube of chakra steady and soon she was focusing her chakra into her mother, using it to pull the blood vessels from her body and letting it flow into the tube she had generated.

There was something quite scary about training with Nieve's mother. It was all about the hands on approach, all about learning in the field. This was all good, but it meant that medical ninjutsu was practised on individuals that NEEDED it. Just like this man. Nieve could not afford to do anything wrong. Opening her eyes, the blue haired kunoichi saw the blood slowly moving in the tube. From her mother to the dying man all the while Nieve was just concentrating on the delicate task. It would take some time until enough blood was transferred, still Nieve did not rush anything. In time she could see that her mother was getting paler than usual. Once that happened, Nieve ceased the transfer and applied her hands once more to both individuals, healing their tiny incisions.

Description: The Jutsu can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it. User is able to tell if 1 single creature per performing is poisoned within the range of 7 meters plus 6 meters per Class Level.
Limit: Must be a Medical Doctor.

Later that day at the Rokoku clinic...

"Even before operating, you should always know the status of a patient." Sano explained as she slid out of her coat and robes, Nieve did not remove her coat, she enjoyed the warmth her heavy clothing gave her. "You may be a sensor, but there are things that normal sensing does not detect." The dark haired woman explained calmly as she closed her eyes and focused her attention on one of the patients. "This one is poisoned." Sano explained calmly as she used the Detect Poison jutsu. It was an incredibly useful technique to have on the field, Nieve had to admit. It only took her a moment to realize the technique probably had even more uses. It could probably also be used to see if something was poisonous as well. Being able to detect if something was poisonous would help greatly, it meant that Nieve could rarely be taken out by poisons, making her live that much longer and aid those around her. After healing the man of his poison, cleansing the body of the impurities, Nieve turned her attention back to her mother. There were close to ten people in the clinic, all on hospital beds and waiting for medical attention. "A rampage of poisoning has spread through Yukigakure, a few of these patients have been poisoned, it is your mission to determine which ones are poisoned." Sano explained. Again with the incredibly hands on approach to training.

The medic distanced herself from the mother as she closed her eyes and focused on the whole area around them. She could not use her sensing abilities. This was a medical ninjutsu technique. She opened her eyes and threw her gaze toward the first of the patients that seemed to be sleeping. She focused her attention upon him, trying to figure out if she could detect poison filling his veins. In the context of biology, poisons are substances that cause disturbances to organisms, usually by chemical reaction or other activity on the molecular scale, when a sufficient quantity is absorbed by an organism. There were many ways that poisons could be ingested, and each poison attacked a separate area of an organism, doing its own brand of damage. It seemed impossible to be able to detect ANY type of poison with such a simple technique. Still she could not sense anything attacking the sleeping man. He was not poisoned.

There was two types of poisoning. Acute poisoning happened in one moment, or over a short period of time. For example getting poisoned injected during a battle. The other was chronic poisoning, which was over a longer period of time. Lead poisoning when one uses lead at work was one example. Nieve settled her glance on another individual.

"Poison." Nieve cried out as she could somehow sense through her medical ninjutsu chakra that there was something coursing its way through the body of a woman on one of the hospital beds of the clinic. Closing the distance between them, Nieve got to work healing her, cleansing her body of the disastrous poison. Once that had been doen she used the technique once more, effectively she could sense two more people with the poisons. Pointing toward them one at a time she called them out. Nieve and Sano each took a patient and dealt with their poisoning.

Description: A touching technique. Ease Pain immediately removes any lingering effects of pain, including penalties imposed by debilitating Jutsus. It does not heal any damage or other effects not directly related to pain. If the target creature is under some effect that causes continuing damage, the pain is eased only for a moment. Ease Pain cannot bypass the need of Extended Handseals, or extended movements. This technique does not allow a user to move about and act normally if there is damaged limbs, or if a Technique damages Movements or Handseals. The duration of this technique is Instantaneous.

Several hours later...

"Sometimes it is better to ease their pain as they pass on. Sometimes there is nothing we can do." Sano told her daughter as she grabbed her daughter's shoulder reassuringly. The two of them had been called out a nearby construction site. Something had gone horribly wrong and a man had been found beneath a large block of cement. It had been descended upon him by mistake and he had not been fast enough to escape it. By the time Nieve and her mother had made it to the construction site, the man's lower body was completely crushed, blood oozing from the cracks in the cement. The man was on his stomach, he was still alive but not for long. Nieve knew that her mother was right. "There is a medical ninjutsu technique that lets one ease the pain of a patient." Sano explained with her usual serene voice as she placed both of her hands upon the man's body. "It requires touch." Sano explained as she inhaled deeply. The blue haired kunoichi watched her mother use the jutsu. It was instantaneous, she could already feel the man relax, no longer feeling the immense pain that had shut down his body. Nieve had been holding onto his hand so she had felt it when the pain had been eased. It was an impressive technique. "It does not last long, you should try it as well." Sano told her daughter.

Nieve nodded, having caught the general gist of the technique, all that was left was practising it to master it. Pain motivates the individual to withdraw from damaging situations, to protect a damaged body part while it heals, and to avoid similar experiences in the future. Most pain resolves promptly once the painful stimulus is removed and the body has healed, but sometimes pain persists despite removal of the stimulus and apparent healing of the body; and sometimes pain arises in the absence of any detectable stimulus, damage or disease. Nieve focused as she sent her chakra into the body of the man, sending it to deal with the pain receptors in his body, she needed to ease them, to shut them off so that he could no longer feel the pain. It was the least she could do for a dying man.

The glow of chakra surrounded Nieve's hands as it was transferred into the dying body of the crushed construction worker. She kept herself under control, not wanting emotion to mix into it and cause more damage than good. Medical ninjutsu was best used with clear thoughts, there was always a life in the balance.

But in this case, the man was going to die, regardless of what Sano and her daughter would do. This was about his life, but not maintaining it, instead they were helping him to deal with it. Nieve could feel her chakra fill the man's body, switching off those pain receptors, granting him longer ease of pain. "I...I thank both of you." The man managed to say, his grunts were no more now that the pain had vanished. He could speak succinctly. Each word could be his life. At least he did not have to deal with the pain. "Please tell my wife and child that I love them both, that I will always be with them." Nieve could hear her mother sniffing, knowing that she was about to cry. Nieve did not ceased sending chakra into the man's body, his last moments on earth would be spent painlessly she decided.
