Description: A user may use the following senses for the process of the identification: sight, smell, taste, or symptoms. The investigator may attempt one skill check for each investigative technique per poison encountered. It takes a round per sense before the user may guess as to what the poison may be depending on how they investigated. If the user has knowledge in Botany, Lore, Animal, Lore Monster, Lore, Spirit, Herbalism, and/or Anatomy, Vial investigating may be easier depending on the circumstance. Look in Academia Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. Each time learned user gets 2 die roll to increase the skill.

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 rounds per class level. This technique may be negated. When this Jutsu is performed, it will distract the thoughts of a creature, to break their concentration. This Jutsu stops them from concentrating to perform that technique.
Limit: Must know the Enchantment Perception.

Effect: A tune so sad must stop and listen.
Special: Singing
Drawback: Effects enemies and allies alike.
Description: A Mind Affecting technique. The bard plays a mournful tune, telling a sad tale that is so entrancing anyone within a twenty meter radius is forced to stop and listen to the tale. They will not being able to perform skills or violent actions during this time, they must simply listen. This skill lasts for three posts or until the bard stops singing.
Limit: Art of the Bard. 'Singing'.

The slow cadence of the song gave way to the low mournful sounds of her voice. She was a low mezzo-soprano which was surprising in comparison to her speaking voice. There was a dark timbre to her words, wrapping them in the quiet pain one could only imagine she was enduring. Akin to acting was the ability to make the emotion of a song apparent in voice. Kogaku was an expert at vocal manipulation. The haunting melody of her words was something to behold. Yet without chakra there would be no assurance of the reaction she was draw. It was time to bring that energy into the fray.

"And I have loved you oh so long. Delighting in your company..."

She continued through the chorus, allowing the energy to rise up within her. It was a fluid act pouring heart and soul into a song. Thus it was not so large a stretch to pour chakra into it as well. A mix between sound and mind effecting chakra required a precarious balance yet she was no strange to this mix. Each word carried chakra from her core, allowing it to rise through her system and pour into the surrounding air. Each word would serve as a dagger to the heart of those who listened. In this case that person would be Kogaku herself.

"I have been ready at your hand, to grant whatever you would'st crave..."

Even without the chakra the words saddened her. Images from the past danced before her mind. Lovers found and lovers lost. A heart shattered to pieces upon the floor. Now it was time for the chakra to take effect. She let the energy spill into her mind, racing through her synapses and searching for a pocket of sadness to exploit. The sadness was not difficult to find. The deep words of the song held more meaning to her than to many others. In a most literal sense. She had been but a child to the world when she sought to become the lover of Akakios. Young, foolish, and willing to do anything to please that monster of a man.

" And I have waged both life and land, Your love and goodwill for to have..."

Was it narcissism to find the sound of her own voice haunting? Was it masochism to continue singing when each word was a dagger driven deeper into her already broken heart? Finally she reached the last verse, not realizing tears had begun to pour from her eyes. Her teeth sunk into her lower lip and she looked away though no one was watching. Perhaps her skill had worked a little too well. She made a note to use this technique with great care. Hurting those who sought to harm others was one thing but the emotional trauma this could cause was a terrible thing. The soul did not heal as quickly as the body.[/font]
