Dotanuki - The "dōtanuki" (jap. 同田貫 or 胴田貫) is a very thick, long handled sword resembling a katana. "Dōtanuki" is the name of a Shintô period smithing school in Higo Province (Southern Japan). There were quite a few smiths who used the name dōtanuki, and their swords have a reputation for being very sturdy, having rather broad blades, and cutting well.

Description: A stun grenade, also known as a flash-bang, is a non-lethal weapon. These grenades are used to temporally neutralize the combat effectiveness of enemies by usually disorienting their senses. When making contact it releases a flash of light that momentarily activates all light sensitive cells in the eye, making vision impossible for approximately 5 seconds until the eye restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The incredibly loud blast produced by the grenade adds to its incapacitating properties by disturbing the fluid in the ear which also lasts approximately 5 seconds until the ear restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The flash bang has a radius damage of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.

Appearance:
Ishi is a brute of a shark. His body is of a large frame bulging with muscles. His body is bluish gray with thin stripes moderately spaced on his back, shoulders, outer thigh and outer shins. His chest, stomach are of a whitish shade of blue.
Ishi's upper body is framed by his wide back and shoulders. He is more muscular in his upper body from constantly swimming while chasing boats. His hands reach past his knees while standing. Ishi's structure compliments his fighting style and staunch demeanor.
His hair, a high faux hawk, is black with white ends. Ishi's pupils are small and black in contrast to the jaundice yellow of the rest of his eyeball. Ishi wears a thick white twisted band on his forehead. It is fraying at several points from its condition decaying since he stole it
Ishi integrated his old graphic shirt's design; whirlpools surrounding an island, into a silver-gray, sleeveless long overcoat. A blue, swirling ocean pattern lined its high collar and hems. On most, it'd trail anyone but floats above his ankles. A vest, of an elastic and insulating material, hugged his slender frame.
Black dyed pants that devour light, feeding crude shark designs on his outer leg. Fabric similar to his vest lined his inseam which free his legs for his Buredono Kenseijin Stances.
A simple belt holds his pouches. A canvas bandolier holds his swords across his back. The Nodra fullblade sits flat his spine. His personal Dotanuki sits at a slight angle.
Personality:
Ishi is adamant. He believes his way is the only way to go. He's ruined any chance of redemption. Even when standing face to face with his mother, she doesn't recognize him. He knows his former persona is lost to the sea and continues on his fulfill his own needs for survival.
Ishi is a bully. He pushes the weak around him to face their fears. Even when he knows they can't overcome it. These upstarts amuse him, but he will never train them personally. If he sees higher potential than his own he will nip it in the bud.
Ishi is opportunistic. He keeps his eyes open for small chance someone's guard is down. Every dastardly act has to be solved with brute force. he is willing to even negotiate for an opponents surrender ad forfeiture of all precious items.
Ishi is charismatic. Using it mostly to achieve deception. He can lead many to do his deeds for him. His true intentions are obscured deep inside not to be found upon his countenance or gestures. Though he rather rely on his own talents but a 6'5 blue shark man can't sneak into most places.
Ishi is realistic. Seeing when he is overpowered, outnumbered or otherwise backed into a corner. He will surrender or escape to save his own hide. Don't write him off as a coward yet. He will pick people apart with the cunning and vigor of his embodiment the Tiger Shark.
History:
Ishi was born to a fisherman and his wife on the land of whirlpools, an island nation. They lived in a small shack near the ocean in a village of fishermen. His father braved the seas for its bounty Facing pirates, ocean monsters and stormy seas to land a meal for his village. Ishi wanted to be a fisherman like his father. He was rarely in school as he wanted to learn the trade.
Well schooled in the sea, he joined his father on his boat. He mirrored his father in strength and dedication. One night upon the rough sea, the catch had been littered with sharkmen. Their bethren attacked.
These sharkmen were of a violent branch of the hoshigake clan. Infusing themselves with the strength and blood-thirst of sharks. The Hoshigake raided their boat. Ripping his father's men into chunks of blood and flesh splattered onto the deck.
Ishi and his father fought toe to toe with the Sharks. They threw Ishi overboard into the sea. As the sharks feasted upon his father, the ocean swallowed Ishi. Drawing him into its depths. Ishi awoke to the same sharks that attacked the boat surrounding him on land. They assaulted him as he lay curled into a ball each strike sending him further into darkness.
"Stop!" A aged voice called to the mob. They ceased and Ishi looked up to see an older bluish grey shark ordering the rabble away. The gray shark commended his resilience so far and invited him to join the clan and attempted to persuade him. Ishi knew he couldn't escape in his condition. The elder wanted his trust and ishi claimed his allegiance. Ishi felt a deeper connection when the elder mentioned that: "We're all fallen fishermen..."
Ishi accepted their ritual capturing three sharks and a shark to for himself. He chose the tiger shark, a solitary hunter. Subliminaly, this shark expressed his goal to escape. During the ritual he fell into a dark, blurry place like the ocean. But a monster stood before him sahring his visage. It was him as a Hoshigake. The form merged with him as he awoke. The sharks disappeared as he took on the form he envisioned.
He muscles rippled upon his larger build body. He felt chakra flowing through him, fiercely. He tested his body, crushing boulders and biting through trees. Intoxicated with his new found strength, he never lost sight of his plans. He participated in hunts as they ravaged ship after ship seeing each captain as his father. Ishi counted the days until he could cast this life afloat in the ocean forsaking it forever.
Ishi trained his chakra and several clan jutsu for ravaging the fishers and others of the sea. And a basic sword fighting style, in case he board a ship and face a swordsman. Though he enjoyed the lessons, they didn't know of his plans. Under cover of night, he took a few newer to the Hoshigake on a raid. Ishi dove into the darkest depths slaying them as they tried to follow. He knew it wasn't the most permanent of escapes but it would do as he returned to Whirlpool country.
Ishi surfaced in the fisherman's village. He approached his house to find his home full of people he didn't know. As he peeked into another window he found his mother being abused by another man. He charged through the wall, sending splinters as he crushed the mans neck in his hands as his mother looked on her face twisted at the monster intruding into he home.
Other men rushed in and Ishi escaped, frightened at what he did. He returned to the ocean looking at the island from miles out. The moonlight illuminated his reflection slowing him the monster he was. Ishi assimilated into society taking small time jobs using his strength for good signs of his own selfish intentions would peek through.

Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A check is done whenever a character is trying to find their way to a distant location without directions or other specific guidance. If a character is lost, they may make an Average check to regain their path.
