The lecture had indeed gone swimmingly and Nieve was glad to have played a part of the audience. It was not often that a protection mission ended up as a lecture about Herbs and the blue haired scientist was just glad to have been allowed to participate. With that she nodded toward Marii. "I hope your stay in Yomazu was enjoyable and that you will return." She said as she took the herbs that Marii had given them, it was an incredibly nice gesture, perhaps Yukigakure and Kumogakure could begin a strong alliance? Nieve would talk to Pricilia about it. It was not her place to think about it, let alone make any promises. She look forward to returning to the village and to her research facility.

"Safe travels." She finally concluded with one final bow before she straightened herself up and headed out the city hall. Using her Mind's Eye of the Kagura she instantly noticed that White Veil was no longer on the roof. Fighting off the need to groan she shook her head before turning toward Katsu. "Let us move out, Katsu, our third party member has decided to go her own way. I shall report this to Pricilia upon our return." She told him before she hurried down the street and out of the capital.

The mission was coming to a close, quite relieving. "Thank you!" Katsu said, he then bowed. A moment passed and he gratefully arose to grab the herbs. The teen waved with his right hand then soon left the building. "Please exercise caution when leaving." Katsu advised.

Now, where's that white haired fiend? The boy thought to himself upon stepping into the crunchy white snow. His once dry combat boots were now moulded with sparkly snow. The Snow ninja took a moment to look around, no sign of White Veil. It seemed Nieve had noticed as well, she also alerted Katsu. "Hai." He said, tucking the herbs in his coat and then proceeding to follow Nieve.

"I hope your stay in Yozamu was enjoyable and that you will return." told the younger woman. "I enjoyed my stay quite a lot. I hope I can visit Yukigakure in the future" replied the female with a smile.
"Thank you!" exclaimed the boy when he saw the herbs. Marii could not help but to smile...she knew they would get use for them in the future.

"Safe travels" told Nieve. "Please exercise caution when leaving" advised Katsu.
"I will. I hope we'll meet each other again" said the young woman. She left the building soon after the two shinobis had gone back to their home.

The sun was not far away from setting...it would get dark soon. 'Better get to the harbour as soon as possible. My ferry is leaving in just two hours' noticed the Sannin after glancing on her wrist watch.
She made sure her four-legged animal companion was right behind her as they went towards the capital gates. 'Good thing I stocked up some food earlier today' thought the female as she prepared her ID.

She showed her diplomatic papers to both of the guards. They nodded before they let her through. 'I better speak with Daiki-kun once we get a bit away from the capital.
My gut feeling tells me that he has seen something I haven't spotted. But I wonder what that may be...' pondered the fake blonde.

All three of them were now making their way towards the harbour in Yuki no Kuni. 'We should be there soon' thought the female as she jumped off a thick spruce branch. Her animal companions were either flying above or jumping next to her.
"Can you see the harbour Daiki-kun?" yelled Marii as she flied through the air. "Yes...it's about 2 more kilometres or so ahead of us" replied Daiki.

She smiled when she landed at another spruce branch. They were not as late as she had thought they were. It did not take long until the trio had reached the harbour.
The Sannin jogged towards the boat with the ticket in her hand. She was thankful that the international affair department had upgraded her ticket since she had worked quite hard.

"Ticket please" asked the sailor who stood at the entrance. She showed him the ticket after making sure Shiori was in her backpacker. "Have a nice evening" told the man when he had checked her travel documents.
"You too" replied the female before she entered the ship. It was a newer ship that had a more modern interior than the previous one.

Her cabin however was a nice surprise. It was a nicely sized bedroom in there plus a bathroom that didn't have the shower hanging over the toilet. "I'll take a quick shower before I'll let Daiki-kun inside. You're going to stay in here and behave yourself" stated the fake blonde with a strict voice. Her animal companion simply nodded after laying down on the bed.

'FINALLY' thought the young woman as she closed the door. She first removed her contacts before taking off her clothes. A smile formed on her face as she stepped into the shower.
Warm water ran down her body while the shampoo got rid of the fake hair colour. The now natural brunette stepped out of the shower ten minutes later with a happy look in her natural blue eyes.

She put on her pajamas before she opened up the window. Her other animal companion then flied in just ten minutes later. "I want to tell you something...remember that white-haired girl we met?" inquired the Coopers hawk. The female nodded after she had closed the window.

"I saw her change her appearance COMPLETELY after you went into that building with the others. She literally changed into the colour of her surroundings. Just like that lizard that I can't remember the name of" informed the animal.
"Yes. And another thing was that she did not have a special kind of scent like nearly all humans or animals have" added the Havana brown cat.

Her eyes widened when she heard this. "I think she must have some kind of blood limit that allows her to camouflage herself or her smell. I've seen people from a certain blood limit change skin colour to blend in better like chameleons. That's the lizard you were thinking off Daiki-kun" told Marii. She took out some food and laid it on the table in the cabin.

'I wonder what kind of blood limit that would allow such a disguise. I better ask someone when I get back. But I'm happy that we're not harmed in any way...especially since she was a bit suspicious' thought the young woman. It was not normal that her animal companions reacted like that towards humans.

She went to bed two hours later. Her cat went to sleep on a pillow near the bed while her bird chose to sleep on a folded towel at the desk. The ship did not make much sound as it sailed across the northern sea.
But the Sannin would be unaware of the big surprise that would await her back in Kumogakure. Especially due to the position she was expected to take in just a couple months...

Moved to Thunder

'Feels good to be home' thought the female as she walked out of the ferry. All three of them had slept well and were ready to start on the last part of their journey. Marii began tree-jumping once they had left the main road.
Both of her animal companions were keeping an eye on the surroundings as they travelled through the thick forest. The young woman had put on her goggles in case she had to fight.

Protecting her eyes was one of the top priorities since those hosted her blood limit. She looked around her now and then to make sure nobody followed them. All three of them had a snack stop when they had completed two thirds of their journey.
'Thank Kami-sama that we started early. It looks like it's going to rain soon' noticed the Sannin after she had drunk her iced tea.

Her senses were more alert now since they were getting closer to Kumogakure no Sato. She had to make sure that nobody stalked them or attempted to ambush them. The familiar forest came into sight just as a distant thunder could be heard.
The female looked around, her goggles now on X-ray vision. There was nobody around apart from some small deer.

She then entered the forest together with Shiori right behind. Both of them quickly disappeared as they ventured further into the area that guarded Kumogakure no Sato. Daiki on the other hand was flying between the trees in a blur of slate gray.
It would not take long for the trio to enter the mountain maze that would lead to the gate. For them, this was just another day at work.
