There was a soft hum that filled the arid atmosphere, the gentle tune of nothing in particular carried among the tree tops as the hummer strolled through the woods alongside his sister. His hands where in his pockets, the girl's hands folded over her chest. The leisure day had taken them outside and split them in two so they could enjoy it together, as opposed to enjoying it as one. They held no complaints. They held no conversation. They were silent, aside from his absent humming, as they walked side by side, as they usually did.

"It's a nice day," Yukiko noted dully, her eyes following a butterfly as it fluttered past her nose, an extremity she wiggled as pollen collected and offered her the need to sneeze.
"Yeah," Ichirou agreed quickly between his tune.  Silence would drag on for a brief moment before they were interrupted by Yuki's sneeze, one that was louder than the average female's sneeze, as it startled a few scattered bugs and leaves.  
"Bless you," he said with little thought.
"I'm an atheist," she snapped jokingly, shooting a grin up at him.  He simply rolled his eyes - so she assumed, considering that, in actuality, you can't really see his eye movement - and began to whistle his tune.

Because of the type of day, neither party held weapons or items.  They had said nothing that morning as they got dressed, both knowing earnestly that they were approaching a walk.  They had donned the appropriate clothing - what they thought to be appropriate - which was, honestly, a tad too classy for a simple walk.  In his black suit pants, Ichirou wore an unbuttoned undershirt, the sleeves rolled to his elbows.  His once straight tie was crooked and loose now, barely hanging together.  Her dress was light and loose, white and flowing a bit past her knees with strings and laces; yet Yukiko wore knee-high brown leather boots, her white headband planted upon her head.  She was feeling particularly cute today.

"You know what?" Yukiko prompted, frowning slightly and stopping short in her tracks.  She turned her eyes to Ichirou who stopped as she did, their eyes meeting - she hoped - .  He said nothing and instead awaited her to finish her sentence.  She obliged quickly, grinning slightly and cocking her hips, inclining her head the opposite way.  "I hope we meet someone today."

After some time in the woods, the sun had gotten to me and I had removed my jean overjacket, laying it on the floor so I could lay on my stomach to preen the earth for snails.  To my excitement, I fucking found three whole snails and a slug!  I cooed at them, petting and caressing them.  It was hot for a Spring day which, in some ways, kind of made me happy.  Like, really, I think heat just makes me entirely giddy.  After rolling onto my back and dismissing my new slug buddies, I stared up at the clouds, needing to squint now and then as the sun beat down through the cotton in the sky.  Resting my head on my hands that folded behind my skull, I smiled pleasantly up at the sky.  It was everything I could have asked for.

Unfortunately, I fell asleep, and now, here I am, comatose.  Well, okay, I'm napping, not in a coma!  I'm gonna get all burned up, though, and I'm going to have some godawful tan.  Ugh.  Not that I can really tan anyway, sigh.

In my dream, I was a sailor.  I think.  Not a sailor scout that fought for justice, that's absurd.  No; I was a pirate!  It was actually pretty, you know, pleasant.  Did I use that word already?  Hm.

I was sailing the seaven seas.  Ah, well.  All's end that good's well.  Wait, that's not the saying is it?  Ugh.

The monologue ends here, as she finally drifts into actual slumber.  The young girl's eyes flutter behind her closed lids, her lips parted as she drew in air.  The breeze washed over her now and then, giving her jaw a slight tremble.  Otherwise, however, Usagi was quite content.

A duo of female and cat had found their way into the overgrown forest located on some unknown piece of land within the known world. The girl, named Hachi, had been taking her talking feline-canine hybrid pet, Puppycat, for a walk in the area before her animal companion had been alerted by a terrible sneeze. He had been well-versed in the tongue of those hailing from the Infernal plane, for whatever reason. Instantly--after hearing the noise that moved both insect and foliage--he spoke:

"What the fuck was that?" His voice had been soft, despite his affinity with the Infernal realm. Of course Hachi didn't know. She shrugged, seeming to understand the Infernal language that he spoke in, but chose to reply in Common.

"I dunno, Puppycat--lets check it out!" She exclaimed, her usual languid demeanor seeming to fade given the change of seasons in the region. Quickly, they both ran through the fields of tree and grass, before stopping in the bush to spy another walking couple of people around Hachi's age. They had been male and female, and from the distance, they seemed to be related, given minor similarities. 

With the way Puppycat thought, he impishly pushed ahead of Hachi, despite her pleas to stop, had they been hostile. He would slowly approach the two and in lieu of purring and curling up to their leg, he would sit in front of the like  a dog and speak in his language.

"Who are you?" They wouldn'tve known what he had said. They would have been stunned, if anything--if not by his speech, at least his cuteness would shock them!--by the hybrid animal as his owner rushed to meet them from her hidden location.

"..Sorry, he can be a bit much at times." She offered a smile. "I'm Hachi and this here's Puppycat. He asks 'Who are you?' -- I'm curious myself, that was one hella loud sneeze!"

Before he could have said a word of reply, the kunoichi's eyes fell on a girl not too far away, asleep against the earth.  Her eyes sparked as interest shot through her veins, and suddenly, she was off, with her brother at her heels as he continued to try and say her name to attain her attention.  But, alas, she was already at the young girl's side, the toe of her boot wedging between the girl's hip and rib.

"Is she alive?" Ichirou cooed, coming to stand at his sister's side.  He drank in the young girl's face, she seemed to be a year or two younger, perhaps.  He added quickly, "She's kinda cute."
"I'm way cuter."

The taller opened his mouth to speak, but was cut short by the sound of something small talking.  The two turned instantly to the voice - though the statement had been out of their speaking knowledge - to see a small...cat...thing.  

"What?"  Yukiko urged.

"..Sorry, he can be a bit much at times."

Eyes turned up to see the girl approaching, gaining one of two reactions from both party: a smile from Ichirou, however much forced it needed to be, but still friendly; a frown and a lip pout from Yukiko, who crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'm Hachi and this here's Puppycat. He asks 'Who are you?' -- I'm curious myself, that was one hella loud sneeze!"

"Nice to meet you, Hachi," said the brother, smiling all the same.  "I'm Ichi, and this is my sister, Yuki."  After nudging her, the sister sighed, throwing her head back over-exaggeratedly before saying a quick, "Hi."  

"That was my sister who sneezed," he added.

Rudely awakened by a foot to her waist, the teenager's eyes fluttered opened to see a girl and boy standing over her, but only a buttshot was what she got.  From where she was laying, with just the right cock of her head, Usagi could see up the female's dress.  A grin fell across her lips at the sight, but she said nothing of it as she sat up straight, yawning loudly and stretching.  By this time, introductions would just be ending, and as she stood up, she would be greeted by their impending silence, however brief.

Taking a position beside the boy, as if she were accompanying them, she eyed the small animal with her smile still in tact.  Disregarding the rest of the patrons for now, she crouched slightly, with her hands on her knees, her long blond locks, the ones that fell from her buns, hang over her shoulders, perhaps tickling the furry animal's nose.

"Hi," she cooed to it, blinking her wide blue eyes innocently. "Who're you?"

Clearly, the girl was an airhead, and could handle no focus or organization.  Usually, someone would have greeted the humans, or ask the girl about the foot in her side.  But, instead, she allowed her attention to detour to the most precious of creatures. A dogcat.

Content with her choices, she stood straight now, turning her eyes first to the girl known as Hachi, then to the couple that appeared to be related, perhaps closely.  She smiled, her thin pink lips moist with chap stick.  "I'm Usagi!" She announced her name proudly, although she wasn't asked of it.  AH, well.  They would have eventually, right?

Puppycat had been the most absurd of creatures. He was a hybrid between cat and dog and spoke the Infernal language. From his lower-to-the-ground position that any of the three humans that stood, he could see the sleeping girl arise from her slumber as there eyes met. His face remained stern looking, but he was a soft spirited animal companion for the most part.

"Ichi.. and Yuki..." Hachi repeated their names as she put an index finger to her small lips. Even though Ichi's eyes had been behind black shades, she could tell that he was looking at her; perhaps that is why his companion Yuki seemed so dramatic in her introduction. It didn't bother her, though--her hand opened to cover her mouth as she hid a small bit of laughter. That's when she noticed the girl, who had been blocked from view by the siblings.

"Oh..." For her to have been brown haired, she acted blond in some instances.

Puppycat, who could fully understand Common, replied to the girl, whether she knew of Infernal or not.

"You look tasty."

Hachi gave Puppycat an evil eye before her demeanor softened, smiling towards Usagi. "He's Puppycat.. don't mind him, though."

//ooc: You've been great, thanks for the opportunity to RP!  c:  But given that school is starting and I have no more muse, I'm going to end the thread with a twist, I suppose.  Heads up for homicide/suicide.

Abruptly, a look of anger washed over the sister. Her eyes widened as her eyebrows narrowed, her nose crinkled as her lips curled bad. Unbeknownst to her brother or even herself, the girl was infuriated. She turned her pink eyes up, to view her brother at her side, who wouldn't even so much as offer her a glance. So, as she stood there, staring awkwardly at her brother, the girl snarled suddenly. This, however, did grant her a look. But a glance - a mere brush of acknowledgment, but then he resumed speaking to the girl. She could see his lips moving, but nothing he said made it to her ears, his once immaculate voice drowned in the high frequency of unwarranted rage.

"Brother," barked the girl.  Her voice was low now, as if she wished only to speak to he.
"What?" He said, finally turning to her.  He was smiling.  He never smiled.  How dare a stranger tempt him to smile.  How dare he pay attention to anyone but her.  
"I want to go."
"Go?"
A deep, shaky breath.  Her reply was sharp.  "Now."

Ichirou's lips twisted with thought as he considered this.  He looked his sister over thoughtfully.  Briefly, he turned his eyes to Hachi, who would get the faintest sight of his red eyes because of his angle, given the off circumstances that she were perhaps looking at him.

A few moments past and, finally, he replied.

"Sis," he began slowly.  "If you want to go home, go ahead.  I'll be behind you shortly."

Something flared inside of her and pooled promptly in her stomach.  It made her throat burn as she strained to keep her voice quiet, her heart beating hard in her chest, blood pounding through her with little care for her being.  For a second, she felt like she would collapse on her locked knees, but the earth held her steady.  Her fingers curled until a fist was prominent, her knuckles white as her nails dug into her skin with a harsh intensity that would have elicited blood, were her nails sharp enough.

"No," she breathed, scowling angrily at him.  "No, we're going."

With an incline of his head, the male ninja chuckled at his sister, which only entitled her to a whole new kind of anger that made her tremble.  He held his hand out as his lips moved, but no longer could the girl hear anything past a brutal, loud noise that made her stomach flip.  His hand rested on her shoulder as he continued to speak, presumably.  As contact was made, the girl's breath hitched with anticipation, her chest tightening.  And for once, it was nothing sexual.  Her eyes were fixed on his neck, the apple moving with his words, but she wasn't tempted by some lustful desire to bite it and, instead, wanted to rip it from his person.  Evidently, the feeling that had arisen was the frantic urge - no, need - to take her brother's life away so she would not need to share him with another being.  In death, she surely would not need to part ways with him for any given amount of time, considering she was, essentially, some part of him on a theoretic level.  

Fighting the urge was not an option.  She lifted her hand slowly, a motion he was used to.  She placed her hand over the one of his own that laid on her shoulder, an action nor foreign to him.  She leaned in, lifting her weight onto her toes, a movement as normal to him as a lover's touch.  She brought her lips to his briefly before trailing them to his neck, a feeling he always enjoyed.  

Unlike any time before, however, she bit into his flesh.  Not like any moment they had shared, she bared her teeth, unrelenting and refusing to let go, even as he grunted and tried to push her away.  He said something into her ear, like a plea, but she hardly registered it.  In fact, she tightened her grip and clinched her jaw.  The taste of blood hit her tongue, easing her into a harder grasp.  Suddenly, his voice was loud and long; he screamed.  To this, she pulled away, smiling up at him as his blood smeared her black lipstick, running from her lips down her chin, painting her neck red and staining her white dress.  He held his tongue, biting his lower lip as he clutched his throbbing shoulder, a part of him now missing and presumably in his sister's stomach.  He was woozy now with the amount of blood he was loosing, the vital vein in his throat ultimately missing now.  He felt nausea take over as the sight of his blood bathing his sister made his stomach hurl into his throat.  He keeled over his knees, his stomach content climbing from his mouth, erupting into an embodiment of a smell so putrid it made him want to vomit more.  After a few seconds of his audible act, he raised to a straightened stance.  He tried to talk, but his lips cracked and moved without speech.  Instead, he began to hum, a tune he had begun earlier in the moment.  He wavered and, suddenly, fell to his knees and then his torso with a thud that would make the leaves flutter around him, settling by his lifeless body.

"Sorry, folks," the girl said softly.  She smiled up at first Hachi, then the blond one.  "But I'm afraid we must be taking our leave."

Without further ado, the girl lifted her hands to her head.  One hand preened her own hair, tugging it once for assurance before gripping it forcefully.  The other hand fell to her chin, where she dug her nails into her skin briefly.  No hesitance nor reluctance, the girl jerked, bringing her head to an angle in which her chin was skyward.  Her eyes rolled back as a loud snap filled the air, the crack to follow sending a shudder down the girl's own spine.  For an instance, the girl felt the undying pain shoot through her entire body, ending wildly in her neck until the pain washed into a feeling of numbness.

Seconds later, the arms dropped and the lifeless body wavered.  It sputtered and made a few guttural noises before falling before its brother.  The convulsing twins slipped into a sense of peace that could not be achieved by standard means.

She was quiet as the patrons' lives were taken by the sister, her eyes wide and her lip trembling. She felt sick to her gut as the female fell to her own self-inflicted death and, suddenly, the blonde keeled over and threw up, just as the man had before his death. Once she had emptied her tummy of the nervous disgust that had washed over her, she stood, as if nothing had just erupted from her lips. She rubbed the back of her hand across her lips, cleaning up the mess she has made on herself, and wavered slightly.

"Ugh," she groaned, turning away from the pair of dead twins. "How awful."

Tears now blurred her vision. Not because she had cared for the people, not because she was saddened by their now lesser existence, but because the smell that the two were emitting was suddenly putrid and unbearable. Death came with an immediate stench, she figured, and it made her stomach churn.

If Hachi wanted to say anything, she would have no time now. Usagi swallowed another flood hard and turned away from the mess, running as fast as her legs could carry her.
