ost of what she used in her title was things he already knew about her, since he had adored those with power in the village. But as she claimed to be THE loremaster that was documenting the story of anything important happening, which meant...kages. But since Emis ego forced him to fully present himself to the woman before his question.
Its an honor to finally meet you. I am as you appear to know, Hoshigaki Emi, the bodyguard of previous Amekages and the executioner of the Crimson Rain.
He silenced for a brief moment before he continued with an alot more intense voice at the same time as his eyes flamed up with the blue flames. It wasnt anything he noticed himself, but hos eyes followed his mood.
I would like to hear the life-story about our second Amekage, Souzen-sama. And dont forget to mention why he was considered a god.
He was tempted to ask about the ghost, but he wanted her to take him seriously, so he kept quiet and sat down into the sand. Lord Souzens complete life-story was something he had wanted to hear his entire life, and the state of being a god had shaped him Into the shinobi he was. So he was excited and yet afraid to get disappointed. Since he was capable of distinguish lies with his minds-eye he was certain that he would learn something new. Would he learn the truth he wanted to hear or would it change his perspective of the world?
I would be enthralled at the stories the ocean could tell, about explorers and adventurers that traversed its swell, of the lives lost in shipwrecks and of pirate tales of old, and legends passed down through generations, told.

The grace could not help but smile at Emi's questions, it seemed as if Mitsukai had knowingly paired them up for an obvious reason. "Before we begin, you should know my true name then. I am Souzoushii. Kaede, Souzoushii, I am Souzen's great aunt." She admitted, her face remained a completely passive mask. "I am the one who brought him out of his mother and into the world. He was instantly proclaimed a prodigy, above everyone else and wrestled out of his mother's arms." She explained calmly. "He possessed the Sansutomu, a now extinct Bloodlimit that manipulated storms themselves, he was a master of it, the strongest our land has ever seen." The elder medic explained as she sat as well on the ground. She crossed her legs in the way that still seemed to make her seem elegant even if she was seated on sand.
"He had a singular purpose to destroy all sin, that was the beginning of his Godship. His truly unmatched skills in battles and unrelenting tactician's mind made him come out of every fight practically unscathed. And by the time he rose to the rank of Jounin, he was crowned as a deity. It was only natural than when the title of Amekage was up for grabs, his peers voted for him, and he ushered in a new age for the village." She explained casually. Souzoushii did not speak as if these were fond memories, she spoke as if this was all part of a lecture.
OOC: Your post was somewhat confusing, perhaps you could start putting some quotation marks to show when your character speaks?

is mouth opened wide as the woman revealed her true identity. It was obvious that a great man like that would still have several relatives within some high places. But he had never expected that one of them would be as powerful as a councilmember. He also realized that the Amekage probably had found the perfect person to talk to him about Souzen, the one that was studying the village history while one of her relatives lived it. So even though he was able to detect lies, he ignored his inner-eye and listened carefully without moving. His breathing was almost non-existing as he had stopped breathing of surprise. But as his friend approached them with his sleepy eyes and lay down behind his master, warming him up and calming his pulse down, the young boy returned to breathe like normally. The beast did however fall asleep immediately after while its huge tail hugged the boy.
"But then he hasn't ascended? or how did he become crowned a deity?"
The story confused Emi slightly as he had expected a way more detailed story about such a huge person of the village, especially since its from his own aunt. The talk was however not over, so he decided to be the one to mess with her mind.
"Then what about his spirit? How did he contact me if he's regarded as dead?"
Emi then looked down to think a little before putting his finger on his lips as he looked back up.
"and how did he even die if he didn't even get wounded in any combat? was he assassinated?"
Emi then was quiet so the woman would be able to speak, and whenever his friend snored too much, he would just elbow the beast in the stomach until it stopped.
(OOC: sorry, was writing on my phone and intended to mark the talk in a blue color when I got home)

"There are things we simply can not explain." Souzoushii explained with a motherly smile toward Emi. It was true. One could simply not always expect to have all answers, the world was filled with mysteries, sometimes one needed to give their whole life in pursuit of a single answer. Archaeologists invested their whole life and worth in the pursuit of the forgotten past. "He was one of those men that was worshipped while he was a living man. Worshipped as a god for everything he did for the village." Souzoushii tried to explain, but it was a very subtle concept, it was almost a cult mentality to tell the truth. But sometimes that mentality was not negative. "He simply, transcended when it was time for him to pass, leaving the village in more capable hands. And the man that followed was quite capable." Souzoushii explained. It was true, when Souzen had vanished into the heavens, he had left the village in the capable hands of Kinninata again.
OOC: Yeah I totally don't remember how Souzen's Amekage died. LOL
he truth the woman was speaking of was something that Emi long had thought of himself, things aren't as easily found out or explained as he had hoped. There was secrets few or none except those involved in it knew. But from the way she was talking made him believe she had some theories about the afterlife, and that her nephew had become something different, something few others had the possibility to become. So to truly transcend humanity he would need to die? The fact made him slightly upset, he had trained and had become quite strong with several god-like abilities, and yet he knew close to nothing about one of the final aspects of a god, the light of real life and the mystery called the afterlife. He should really find a teacher that could instruct him within those areas, since they were too complicated for him to learn himself. And if the woman was correct, he would need to learn the secrets before he become too old.
So, what kind of being is he now? and is there anyone that actually knows as much as him about life and death?
As the knowledges of gods probably were so rare that it wouldn't be possible to find on the earth, so his hopes were low while he waited for the response.

Souzoushii sighed. She was a master of the lore. Entrusted with the task of recording the history of her people, their customs, triumphs and losses. But knowing about what happened after death, that was a tall order she could simply not accomplish. "Who knows what Souzen has become since his...transcendence?" She began simply as she slide both of her hands into her sleeves, hiding them from view. The Ageless Grace had lived close to three life times now, she had seen many shinobi come and go. Death was inevitable in life, and due to the nature of a shinobi's life, it tended to come sooner than usual. Still she lived on, recording history.
"There is no way to truly know what happened to him. But Emi, why does this topic interest you so?" She asked, truly curious.
mi used to be quite drawnback about talking of his dreams and beliefs, but the warm sensation in his heart granted by her voice and the fact that she was his greatest idols aunt made him hesitate. He looked up into her eyes and bit his lower lip before he began to speak with a silent voice.
This world is rotten, hatred lives in peoples hearts, the weak dies before their voices gets heard and families are separated by the whim of some stranger.
His voice grew louder and more intense as he spoke until his hatred for what he had lived through made itself noticed.
I've made a promise to myself that I will gain as strong as I possibly can, so nothing can stand in my way and my words will be law. To reach those levels, i've always imagined I will become a God, but i dont know anymore. It seems like people in the shadows are still stopping the greatest men and women.
Emi started to cry and hid his face in his arms. He didnt have any real friends but zetsubo, and he had no relatives that he knew where to find. He was alone in a dark and scary world, and his shoving to get room just ended with bloodshed.

"The rot you speak of." Souzoushii began before taking a pause, wishing to use the correct words to their utmost use. "It is born from this shinobi system. From villages being constantly pitted against one another, about children being taught to become destructive tools of war." She explained calmly. There was simply no way around it. The world had gone too long in such a state of war and animosity, it would more than likely never return to complete peace where children and the weak would not be asked to fight.
"I believe that is why Mitsukai has decided to cut ties with the other villages, she does not want to participate in their war games. She wants our village to remain strong and proud." She said simply before returning her gaze to the young boy.
"If you wish to become strong, do so. You are part of something grand and unique hear. You should strive to become strong to protect the weak." She told him. Souzen would be proud of the new generation of shinobi who wanted immeasurable strength.
he black sleeve of Emi's robe was quickly covered in a thin layer of tears and snot as he dried it off when the woman began to speak again. Her words didn't comfort him, she knew he had right and that most lives were pointless so he sniveled before wiping off some more tears. What was there to live for? Emi had fought for power, but that had brought him endless pain. To defend the weak was something he didn't really see the point of, that would only encourage them to remain weak. The only thing that he knew brought joy to his life was to play with his friend, to show his utter dominance over someone and the thrill of fighting. Those facts would only lead him into darkness... but what was the bad thing with the shadows? It apparently had a lot of power in it. The dark side of the world.... The crying had stopped as his mind was wandering into a much more serious tone and his vile side was emerging.
To hide us from the world will just result in the villagers getting weaker until the enemies just stomps on our remains. Our greatest enemies has always been inside the village anyways.
His voice had become cold and hid a slightly aggressive tone. The young boy shook his head a little to the left as one of his nightmares came to the surface and showed him a bloodbath from his past. The blue flames ignited again as he rose up from the ground and twitched a little.
I guess ninjas are just hollow puppets that gets manipulated to hope and dream, but I shall find my purpose in life.....
Emi then jumped up on Zetsubô's leg and leaned his head backwards before screaming out into the dark sky with all power he could muster.
OR DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD..... SOUZEN-SAMA??!?
It was a desperate attempt to get his role-model to come and calm him down by proving that the previous kage indeed had become a divine being of some sort. Emi's left hand was clenched so hard while he waited that his claws buried themselves deep within his palm and a stream of blood ran down his fingers and colored the wet sand with a dark-red color.

Souzoushii did not take well the young Hoshigaki's comments. Especially about how cutting off the village would make it weaker. "You do not know about politics. You do not know about what the Amekage has to go through, of what corruption has taken place because of the alliances with the weak or manipulative. Rain should be strong on its own before it even attempts to play along with others." The Kaede explained, her tone was so direct and clear cut that there was no doubt the woman believed what she said. And that was the last thing she would say on the subject.
Emi was indeed right on one count. Shinobi were tools used by the Amekage and the village to keep the village sage and prosper. That was simply the way that things happened. There was no need to overcomplicate things.
And when Emi had his little tantrum mixed in with emotional breakdown, wanting to summon forth the spirit of Souzen, Souzoushii remained silent, instead she rose to her feet, their discussion was obviously coming to an end if the blue skinned individual was going to act in such a manner, crying and screaming.
"It is time you find your place within Amegakure no Sato. Will you be a pest, or will you be a champion?" She asked, knowing fully well that every shinobi needed a moment in their lives when they finally decided what would be their role in a village. Souzoushii wanted Emi to live, she wanted him to become great, perhaps rise to become the next Souzen?
he absence of a respons from souzen was only to be expected, he couldnt think the man would enter their realm yet again. His anger grew for a few seconds before he realized how wasted his anger was. The pain in his hand and determination in the womans voice awoken his sanity. What was he doing? He took a few deep breaths before jumping down on the ground. She was right, Emi had never been taught about the complex systems that affected every aspect of the human world.
"Please teach me the art of politics"
His voice was low and didnt have that much energy in it, but he was calm and utterly sincere. The young boy had realized that he would need to understand what really was behind the curtains, why his role-model had chosen to go into politics when so many else could help him with that. His gaze was flickering and he knew that the request was a little daring as he just had a weak moment in front of the woman, and he had never been much of a theoretically person, so the information might overwhelm him. But politics might be one of the few ways out from his mental descend. He had been a influential person in the village after all, so politics would be something he could do much good or bad within.

It seemed as if Emi had calmed down and was slowly gaining more confidence in himself, and in his place in the world. Hopefully he would become calmer, it was when one distanced themselves from negative emotion that they could truly soar. "Perhaps the Amekage herself could teach you more about politics." Souzoushii suggested as she began walking in the opposite direction, toward the other exit of the arena. With that she waved toward Emi, they would meet again and hopefully it would be under better circumstances.

mi listened to what Souzoushii had to say, and even though he was a little disappointed, he thought that he might be able to find a master with a more similar view as him. His view on the world might be imature and without knowledge on how it actually works, but he was confident that there would be some way for him to use politics in a different way that was currently in use.
well, lately I've gained more influence than I know how to use. I've went on diplomatic meetings, been the official bodyguard of 3 amekages, was used as a public executioner and I've even become a chunin..... I'm getting all the more attached into the shadow-games, and yet I know close to nothing about it...
Emi had always considered him a self-taught prodigee, the powers he had gained thus far was nothing that a teacher had told him to do, it was as if he was made to realize how the nature of chakra worked. But as his gaze wandered away from the woman and landed upon a stone in the size of a palm he remembered the Hiraishin. The young boy leaned forward and picked up the stone and weighed it in his hand before examined its shape. The mightiest technique he would be able to learn was the Hiraishin technique, the hardest of his divine aspects, and for that one he had needed a teacher. The technique was so complex that he would probably never learn it without assistance. So he decided that he most likely would benefit from having a teacher for the politics.
I will find me a more suited teacher, because if Souzen - the genius of geniuses chose politics, then there's must be something I've missed.
His right hand swept over the stone and left his own hiraishin mark on it.
Thank you for your time, I hope we'll meet again... hopefully when my existence makes more sense.
A cold breeze swept by the arena as he finished his talk, and without waiting much longer than to allow the woman to respond, he jumped up unto his friends back and pat him on the side. The huge beast snorted as he woke up from his slumber and within short he had risen to his feet, happy to get going. Emi thought for a few seconds before he decided that he had said what he had needed and rode off towards the gates to the arena.
-Attempted exit-
