While tiny sparks fluttered around my fingertips, I gently parted my hands from the snake handseal and extended my fingers, splaying them so that my palms faced the ground. The sparks dancing along my fingertips grew in size as I wriggled my fingertips. It almost looked like a sprinkler, although the colour was a yellowish white colour. However, I quickly bought up my hands toward my face before slamming them forward, as if shaking off the sparks dancing along my fingertips.
The moment I threw them forward, a medium sized bolt shot from my hands and struck the earth a few feet in front of me. The impact caused the ground where it had struck to kick up large amounts of dirt and leaves, as if by penetrating the ground, the lightning wanted to burrow itself beneath the soil and hide there. But rather than hiding there, the bolt bounced like literally bounced off the ground and shot off toward the direction I had been facing. It leapt across the ground, growing larger in size and moved like that of a bouncing rabbit.
The speed was relatively quick for a ground-moving bolt and the ferns in leapt through caught fire. However as it neared a fallen log at least five or six meters away, it fizzled out and dissipated. I frown, having remembered the scroll stating that the bolt was strong enough to rip through stone. Had I not channelled it properly? I glance down at my fingertips and noticed that they appeared slightly pink. Perhaps one more shot should do it before I singed or damaged the nerves in my fingers.
Yet again, my hands took the form of the Boar handseal. My wrists twisting around while the tips of all my fingers remained curled inward. The handseal wasn’t overly comfortable, but this time while the second joints of my fingers curled inward, the back of each finger gently touched the opposing finger as I held the handseal. One, Two I parted my hands, twisting my wrists back around and formed the Ram handseal as my hands pointed skyward.
On my right hand, my ring and pinky finger curled inward while the remaining fingers pointed skyward in the form of a half pyramid. The ring and pinky finger on my left hand gently rested upon the curled in fingers of my right hand. The remaining extended fingers touched the opposing fingers, thus completing the pyramid facing skyward. While both my wrists aligned together, I held the seal for two seconds before parting my hands again.
