Taisen took note of the guards posted at the entrance as he ran by. Thanks to his new invisibility power, he was able to dash right past them without them even wondering what that noise was. However, the fact that there are guards meant quite a number of things. One being that there were probably going to be guards within the city as well, guards who would probably not take kindly to a man with weapons dashing around. That being said, if any of them accosted him, he could always lie and say he was with Cloud Village, although he otherwise lacked the headband to prove so. How much authority did random town guards really have over shinobi? Probably not much, although any threats Taisen could make about repercussions would be hollow so if they called his bluff he'd really have nothing.

All of this simply highlighted the fact that he needed to get something done before his invisibility wore off. However, it didn't seem likely that he could find the shop, retrieve the ledger, and leave the city in five minutes. He needed something a little bit more long-term, he needed a disguise. Specifically, he needed to commandeer some sort of cart that he could put his weapons in and cover, and he needed some kind of over-garment that wouldn't attract attention. Could probably gain both of these by jumping some merchant on the streets, but exactly how he planned to do that without anybody seeing was beyond him. Possible he could create some sort of distraction elsewhere in the city and jump a merchant for his cloak and cart while everyone was concentrated on that.

A fire randomly kicking up in the city would probably just put the guards on red alert, so a disguise might come under extra scrutiny after something like that. What he really needed was something even better than that, perhaps a guard outfit? If there were guards at the gate, what were the chances of there being guards on the rooftops? He ducked quickly into a nearby alleyway and used his chakra to climb the wall to the roof. Once there, he would survey the guard situation and make a decision based on what he saw.

In the meantime, he was still concerned about how Tora would fare with the guards. If for some reason they didn't let him in, he could always just make himself invisible and come in anyway. How many things could Tora keep invisible at once? Would Taisen's invisibility be cut short if Tora had to use it on himself? Whatever the verdict of that, Taisen hoped that he could at least stay invisible long enough to figure out how heavily the town was guarded from within. Many upcoming decisions depended heavily on how many guards he could spot from his position on the roof, including whether or not he would go back and help Tora.

Approaching the gates, Tora knew he had to be somewhat creative. Perhaps even decieve the guards if there would be any. He knew just regularly speaking would come off as a lie, which is why he needed something a little bit deeper than just a simple lie. He had to have some sort of story, some sort of character he could portray that would justify the entrance to the village. After all, he was alone and really not in an age to travell alone.

So, in order to decieve the guards, Tora decided to act roughly like himself, so as not to come across as someone it would be difficult to portray. However, some changes were to be added as far as background and occupation went. In all honesty, Tora was a terrible liar, mainly because he would always perfer to tell the truth. This time, it was different. This time he had to lie in order to keep his village out of trouble.

For what reason would a 14 year old boy be travelling alone? Seeking refuge is always nice. A tragic story like a shipwreck could easily be checked out. Something simple was the best way to go about it. So, he decided to go for a character of a runaway kid who was sick of his parents. Simple enough, and he would probably regret it and go back to them, only he's kinda hungry and wishes to buy some food.

Upon reaching the guard, the Genin looked at him coldly, and simply said, "My name's Gin. Gin Akio. I'm just here to buy some food and go back home in Kumo. I've no weapons and I really just want to eat." He said, looking the guard in his eyes and hoping it was enough of a convincing act in order to get passed the gate and into the village itself.

Taisen moved around the city pretty effectively, coming to those as he passed by with his cloak of invisibility as a fleeting wind. The Kamyuja would cross the path of several guards on his way through the streets, indicating that this city had been fortified, as this was the capital. On some random turn down an alley way, he would wall-walk up to a higher tier, trying to get the same vantage as the guards stationed above the city-streets. The Man would find dozens of archers patrolling the environ, each one lithesome looking and carrying a longsword at their side. Having found what he was looking for, it would be best for Taisen to return to the ground wherein a wandering merchant had stopped momentarily to use the restroom on a wall in the otherwise empty alley way. The man had on big dark robes and was actually almost as big as the shinobi of Kirigakure.. he had a cart with him full of hay which could be used to store weapons or Tora, once he managed to get inside the village. Had Taisen chosen to disrobe and subdue this man, he best do so quickly and quietly.. and he'd better have knowledge of the task skill of disguise to be able to veil his true identity.

At the gate, the blonde guardsman looked down at the boy who claimed to hail from Kumogakure. His story didn't seem entirely fishy, as his blue eyes matched many of the natives of Kaminari, but the guard was sort of skeptical of his carrying weapons. "..hm, a ninja of the Hidden Cloud without a sword? You must have had to sell it to come up with the money to buy food here, then; come, welcome to Enrai." He welcomed, moving to the side to let him pass. "Do be reminded that even as a ninja of Lightning Country's hidden village, you are to still respect the streets of the capital. No fighting, or you will be imprisoned."

Holy crap, this place was on straight lockdown. Tons of armed guards both in the streets and patrolling the rooftops. It's almost like this place was under some sort of martial law with how many armed men there were making sure nobody stepped out of line. Deciding at this point to scrap the guard suit idea, given that he would likely find himself filled with arrows as soon as he made some sort of move, he moved quietly back to the edge of the roof. Once there, he checked his landing zone in the alley and discovered that Plan A might actually work out after all. A hay cart, perfectly large enough to hide things in, and a guy wearing a cloak that was perfectly large enough to hide Taisen in. To make matters even better, they guy had ducked into the alleyway to relieve himself, which meant he had purposely moved into a position where he couldn't be seen.

No reason to waste a perfectly good opportunity, so Taisen descended the wall into the alley as quietly as he could manage and got to within punching distance of the unsuspecting hay guy. It was excessively awkward to stand there and wait for the guy to finish peeing all over the wall, but it was better to do that than deck him now and risk getting pee all over the cloak. So, he waited. One shake, two shakes, three shakes, clearly a man that did things thoroughly. Once the merchant was finally finished and had tucked himself away, Taisen domed him with a single punch. Rather than let the man fall, he caught the merchant and laid him down gently behind the cart where he wouldn't be seen. Once there, he quickly took off the large man's robe and draped it over himself, then took out a pair of zipties and tied the man's hands and feet. Taisen then opened up a nearby trashcan, stuffed the man inside, and put the lid on.

Still working quickly, he then stuffed Samehada and his shield into the hay pile on the cart and checked his new disguise. Much to his surprise, the invisibility had worn off the moment he hit the merchant, so it was either this disguise or bust. Firstly, he tried to remember how the man had been wearing it before. The part Taisen found most useful was just the cape-like accessory he had been wearing, which was thick and buttoned in the front. He put it over his shoulders and adjusted it so that it sat comfortably while still obscuring his musculature and clothes. After buttoning it in the front, he pulled it forward even more so that it bunched on his shoulders, further hiding the fact that he was much more fit than the man that entered the alley. The merchant also wore the hood up, not surprising given the cold and wet weather the country often experienced, which meant Taisen also had the hood up. This effectively hid his silver hair color and obscured his face from all sides but straight on.

Taking it a step further, he also removed his gloves and rolled up his sleeves so that the unique pattern of his jacket wouldn't give him away. Once all of this had been completed, Taisen tossed the covering back over the cart where his weapons were hidden and picked it up by the handles on the front. In order to get out, he had to push the cart backwards out of the alley and turn it in the street, after which he turned himself around and set off down the streets, pulling the hay cart behind him. His size was similar to the merchant he had jumped, and his apparent gender was also the same. As far as anyone looking on from above was concerned, nothing of import happened in the alley. The cart itself felt very light to Taisen, so he made sure to walk much more slowly than he would normally so his super strength wasn't given away. Between the cart and the cloak, Taisen's identity should be hidden from anybody who didn't look too closely. With how many people teem the streets of a capital city, the likelihood of him getting randomly singled out was minimal.

Quietly hoping that Tora made it through alright and would be able to find him, Taisen kept his eyes and his ears open for any indication of either The Hate or a place where an explosives dealer might hang out.

Description: A technique where the user hits the opponent with such force that they deliver a punch with enough force, and enough precision in subdual damage to where the opponent is knocked out unconscious with a single blow. The opponent stays down for a number of rounds before they are slowly brought out of their unconscious state. When using this technique the user sacrifices the knowledge of a Tetsu Tekken (Iron Fist) technique. Depending on the class of the user as well as the class of the opponent the Deadly Blow lasts for only so long within an amount of rounds.
D Class - The Opponent is stunned for Two rounds
C Class - The Opponent is stunned for Three rounds

Tora simply gave the guards a nod and said, "Thanks." As he walked in and finally entered Enrai - his destination. He didn't want to overthink things. With such a large village, it was obvious that someone could find a bomb manufacturer. However, he didn't know wether it was legitimate or not. The only thing he did know was that the guards assumed he is a shinobi, which meant he could ask around about that issue without being too suspicious.

"Oh! One other thing. I was asked to look into some bomb manufacturing going on in here. I assume there's such a place, since the serial number matched." He asked the guard, hoping he would find an answer. "Not sure what this is about, but if you know a person named Funaki Tomomi I'd love to return to the kage with some good news. Any idea where I can find him?"He asked, hoping it wouldn't arise too many questions, and why would it? The village can distribute independant missions without consulting any village, as long as peace is perserved. 

Tora, knew that wether he would get some infrmation or not, he would have to still look for his partner, who he was somewhat worried about. After all, being so large with weaponry wasn't easy to miss, which meant he would either be disguised or stopped for questioning. Either way, Tora had to look for him. But that would be left for another time. Perhaps later even. For now, he wanted the information before walking in and continuing on his own mission.

While the Kamyuja jumped the Enrai merchant in the alleyway, the young Genin Tora had found himself able to pass the stationed security at the village gate. While he sought to inquire about explosions absentmindedly, he would get a rather concerned look from the blonde guard.

".. I think you have received some wrong information, as no one here has been authorized to manufacturer these weapon-types." Carefully, he looked over Tora again, his eyes narrowing as the boy pressed more buttons. "Funaki Tomomi was said to have left Enrai weeks ago.. and why would the Raikage need information pertaining to this individual, exactly?" The man riposted with his own question, now more curious as to the true nature of Tora. Whether or not the low-ninja chose to answer, he would still be allowed into the village; and either way, unbeknownst to him, would be that the stationed guard called for others in his ranking to follow after him. Tora would probably catch on when he noticed men dressed in similar uniforms pouring into the streets at intervals that made it seem unnoticeable.  He had somehow drawn attention to himself, and would need to shake it in order to continue the mission.

Elsewhere, now outside of the alley and donning the guise of the cart-pushing merchant, Taisen would encounter a bumbling old man, who was surely a street rat, holding a half-empty bottle of something strong to drink. This man would bump into Taisen, unintentionally due to his current state, and fall on the ground. "(hic) Heeey, wotch wh're the 'ell you're goin'," he managed, spilling ale on his ragged shirt. Taisen was far too massive a man for the drunkard to stand up to, but almost every drinker in Enrai was known for their often-times thunderous temperament when inebriated.

With disguise successful and cart loaded with hay and concealed weapons, Taisen set off down the road in search of hide or hair of Tomomi or an explosives artisan. Both seemed unlikely to be simply out in the open where they could be easily spotted, so sooner or later Taisen knew he'd have to start asking questions. The question then became, who to ask? Probably wouldn't get far just hitting up random people about terrorist organizations and explosives. The vast majority of people in a regular city were just civilians who had probably never even seen a real explosive in their lives, so he'd have to seek out a shadier and more crime-ridden part of town to get the answers he sought. Most crime would probably take place in the less-guarded slums of the city, which meant that a good old-fashioned shakedown would probably be a lot easier to pull off.

Not sure how many petty criminals would know much about terrorists or explosives, but name-dropping Tomomi in crimetown would definitely generate some attraction. Thugs, especially of the criminal variety, would likely want to take care of a perceived threat themselves without involving the guard. So, back to the plan he had originally come up with, stirring the cauldron would draw his targets to him whether they realized it or not. Most likely they'd try to just kill him, which gave him the opportunity to subdue and interrogate one or more of them once they tried. Ideally, though, they'd attempt to capture him, that way he could be led straight into their base. Tora would probably prefer to go through a vent or back door or something, but what better way to infiltrate a base than to be escorted through the front door?

As he thought about his next move, he suddenly smelled something foul and felt a bump against his shoulder. Looking over begrudgingly, not wanting to get his nose any closer to the smell than he had to, he saw a drunken vagrant with a half-empty bottle of something foul. Just from where he stood, he felt his nose hairs being singed by the smell of the stuff in the bottle and briefly wondered how this man got it close enough to his face to drink. This wonder was dashed when the man started belligerently vomiting words, and Taisen was suddenly aware of a potential scene being raised. It briefly flashed through his mind that the homeless probably heard a lot about what happens in town that most people would rather not pay attention to. However, this particular guy was significantly too hammered to be of any use to anybody, and right now he was a severe danger of blowing Taisen's cover.

Thinking quickly, he dipped his head and said, "I'm sorry. I'll watch where I'm going from now on." Taisen, while competitive and slightly hot tempered, wasn't so consumed with pride that he was about to risk compromising his cover just to pick a fight with a drunk. Hopefully, this guy would accept the apology and forget about what he was doing the moment he looked away. Meanwhile, though, Taisen just kept walking and hoped the vagrant wasn't feeling fighty. Even though the winning of the fight wasn't an issue, going around decking civilians wasn't exactly the best way to play off being a humble cart-puller. Amazing how a little bit of public drunkenness had so much power to ruin other people's important business. If this guy blew Taisen's cover and The Hate found out that Mist was on to them, they could accelerate their next bomb plot and do some actual damage. This poor, drunken man had no idea how many lives he held in his unsteady hands right then, and he was unlikely to ever know.

The only saving grace Taisen really had at this point was the benefit of the doubt. If the clearly drunk vagrant started causing trouble and the guards did get involved, Taisen could very easily just play the victim. After all, who were they more likely to believe? An upstanding, respectable man with a cart or a man half-crazed on a bottle of liquid nightmare?

Whether or not the drunk decided to press the issue, Taisen kept his pace up going toward what he perceived to be the ghetto part of town. Making a point of turning down several alleyways and getting farther and farther from the main road, he moved into the fringes of the city. The more run-down the buildings and streets became, the more he knew he was going in the right direction. Also, the less guards he saw, the better. Sooner or later, he knew he would find what he was looking for. Might even get mugged, which would be a wonderful opportunity to gain both information and street cred.

Ghetto, here we come.

The guard's suspision was annoying. Finding out the hard way that it wasn't wise to ask about explosives at the front gate after having to lie about entering the city. It was simply time to lie once again and hopefully have this guard buy it once more. Maybe, just maybe he'd be able to get away with it. "I have no clue. I'm not that highly ranked to really know anything, nor do I ask questions. Thank you." He said and walked into the village, somewhat relieved that he made it into the village without too much trouble.

Soon enough, Tora noticed some of the guards following him and that made him feel a little uneasy. "For fuck's sake..." He said as he formed some handseals, knowin the easiest way to avoid the guards was to simply vanish. With the seals done, Tora took a turn around one of the buildings, vanishing from sight. In addition, Tora decided to climb the building, using the tree climbing technique, he climbed up and waited for the guards to come by and panic for losing their target. 

With the guards moving to look for him, Tora climbed up to a higher vantage point, still invisible, trying to figure out some things. It would seem that looking for explosives would get him in trouble since it was probably something to with with the black market at Enrai, or at leasst a covert operation, which would mean looking for it wasn't too smart. Next, he wanted to see if he could instead find that Tomomi guy. Since they guards know him, he must be some sort of personality in the village, which meant he was known in a way.

Climbing down, Tora decided to search for some more clues. Talking to people about explosives was unwise, however, asking about some guy would be smarter. Undoing the invisibility, Tora walked to what he thought was the center of the village, the marketplace - after all, people there talked. Once there, he decided to find someone who seemed like a guy with information - someone people talked to.

Walking over to one of the stands, where the sign said 'Blacksmith' in large letters. If someone was to know about a guy connected with some organisation called the hate, it would probably be a blacksmith. "Hello there. I'm rather new, and you seem like a reliable person. Do you know anything about a Funkai Tomomi?" Tora asked, hoping that not giving a reason would allow the man to provide him one instead. Either way, the Genin would get some sort of information, maybe even see wether the guard at the gate lied or not.

Effect: Makes the target they touch invisible.
Special: "Handseals"

Description: Affects anyone who sees the target. The user is able to perform this technique on the target they touch. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 minutes per class level. This technique may be negated. The creature or object touched becomes invisible, vanishing from sight, even from darkvision. If the recipient is a creature carrying gear, that vanishes, too. If the user performs the Jutsu on someone else, neither the user nor their allies can see the subject, unless they can normally see invisible things. Items dropped or put down by an invisible creature become visible; items picked up disappear if tucked into the clothing or pouches worn by the creature. Light, however, never becomes invisible, although a source of light can become so (thus, the effect is that of a light with no visible source). Any part of an item that the subject carries but that extends more than 10 feet from it becomes visible, such as a trailing rope. Of course, the subject is not silenced, and certain other conditions can render the recipient detectable (such as stepping in a puddle). The Jutsu ends if the subject attacks any opponent. For purposes of this Jutsu, an attack includes any Jutsu targeting a foe or whose area or effect includes a foe. Actions directed at unattended objects do not break the Jutsu. Causing harm indirectly is not an attack. Thus, an invisible being can open doors, talk, eat, climb stairs, summon and have them attack. If the subject attacks directly, however, it immediately becomes visible along with all its gear.

Tora successfully evaded the guards, just as Taisen had done previously with his know-how of Genjutsu. Still invisible, the boy went unseen by the slew of guards stationed upon high venues across the city, and Tora, from his vantage, would happen to see a man entering a dark alley carrying a massive gourd or barrel strapped to his back. Before he would make his way towards this person though, he'd stop in the market area, now lifted of his illusion and ask the blacksmith the same question.

"..Eh, remembering what I can," the voice of the burly man was low and full of a foreign accent--Terran, "Bombs he is said to make. He carries a big barrel on his back, he does.. many think it's an explosive weapon, but he insists that it is not."

Somewhere near this area, Taisen would have been able to see his comrade as he finished up with the drunk man, who left the huge Kamyuja alone as he steadily stumbled down the path. While Tai was free to venture away from the area, he could still choose to meet up with his ally, whom he saw standing at the blacksmith's shop before he attempted to move into the slums of Enrai.

Change of plans.

Tora had finally been located, moving through the city like he had somewhere to be. Since they had been separated since the moment Taisen entered the city, he decided it was best to rendezvous with his partner before carrying out any particular plan. After all, how embarrassing would it be if Tora found the target while he was busy slumming it with the gangs? Unbearable.

So, he kept on his slow and steady course toward the main marketplace, which was a reasonable location for a man with a cart to be going. Tracking Tora as he approached the blacksmith, he tried to think of a way to signal the Genin without attracting attention to himself. Using a little bit more of his immense strength, he picked up the pace enough that he would catch up to Tora before he moved away from the blacksmith's shop. Once there, he heard just enough of the blacksmith's reply to surmise what the question had been. Turns out, at least according to a man who probably spent a lot of time in these parts, Tomomi himself was the explosives craftsman. Also, his answer seemed to imply that Tomomi personally knew someone that the blacksmith knew.

Third person information was hardly the best but, assuming Tora didn't give anything but a name, the blacksmith managed to perfectly describe a man who seemed to fit the bill. Either Tomomi was a very common name for pyromaniacs, or they guy they were looking for was infamous around town for the very reason that shinobi now pursued him. More to the point, carrying around a huge barrel that may or may not be a huge explosive was distinctive as hell, which gave them something to go on. Tora, it seemed, was on point when it came to this kind of work. Of course, what they had dealt with so far had been easy, mostly just talking to a few people. It still remained to be seen how the Genin handled real pressure and real danger.

That was a question for another time. Taisen wheeled his cart past the blacksmith shop and parked it so that it was relatively out of the way. Then, he sidled up next to Tora and greeted the blacksmith."Good morning," he said politely before turning to Tora, "I've been looking for you everywhere. Ready to go?" He said it as casually as he could manage, trying to seem like a friend who got separated in a crowd. The two were now dressed relatively similar, although Taisen still towered over the younger Genin. Likely the smith wasn't going to inquire further, and with both a description and a partner Taisen was raring to go get this guy. If they could find him, then Taisen could easily subdue him and separate him from the bomb he carried around. Then, using his newly acquired cart, transport the terrorist to a more or less secure location and interrogate.

It's been a long time since Taisen had a good interrogation.

It was very difficult not to notice a guy with a huge barell on his back. Surely it seemed rather weird, standing on the rooftop, but Tora never considered it to be something major. He tucked it in the back of his head as a sidenote of some weirdo walking around Enrai with a barell strapped to his back. That was of course untill the blacksmith mentioned that the man they were looking for was right there, in the city and withing range of them!

"Fucking hell..." The Genin mumbled under his breath and nodded to the blacksmith. "Thanks." He replied and turned around only to see Taisen there, with his special disguise and a cart for his weapons. That's not gonna slow us down at all, Thought the Genin as he gave a sigh, looking at his partnet and giving a nod. "Right. We really do have to go." He said as he looked in his eyes, hinting something, trying to let him know that there was something else, that Tomomi was within range and close by for them to follow. It wasn't his usual cold stare, but rather different.

Walking away from the blacksmith, Tora leaned in to his partner. "Tuck your cark somewhere we can find it. I found our guy." The Genin said rather unemotionally and walked forward, looking around as he looked back at his partner and then to one of the rooftops, signaling him to meet him there when he was done hiding his large vessel. It was a good spot to get a great view of the area and identify Tomomi once again. Tora really didn't feel like wasting time.

Oh, shit. Game time.

Had Tora really already found their guy? This was turning out to be pretty easy so far. Unfortunately, now it was time to move quickly and ditch the cart, but Taisen couldn't leave his weapons behind, but neither could he risk being spotted by the guards with them. Also, the cart would be necessary for covertly transporting their target if they successfully captured him. Didn't seem right just to leave it, but he couldn't very well conduct a high-speed chase with it either. He decided that leaving the cart was necessary for now, but he still needed his weapons. So, he left the cart where it had been parked and wrapped up his shield and Samehada in the covering, leaving the cart looking like someone was about to jump into it. Or out of it.

It was awkward, arranging Samehada and the shield to fit and be carried. Eventually, he decided to fit the shield to his back under his cloak, giving him a very hunchbacked appearance. Meanwhile, he wrapped Samehada in the cart covering and tucked it under his arm like a large delivery he hadn't gotten around to yet. Perfect stealth of the weapons was no longer necessary, he had to move fast now in order to keep up with Tora's hunch of where Tomomi was.

Now on high alert, senses open and searching for any evidence of barrel-men, Taisen ascended to yet another rooftop alongside Tora and searched from a better vantage point for Tomomi. Throughout, he was tracking where Tora was looking in order to get a better idea of where he thought their man might be. Time was of the essence now, with their target on the move and the two of them very exposed to guard scrutiny, they needed to find him and make a move before anything else happened.

Tomomi, your time has come.

While Taisen was busy conducting himself with the weapons, Tora went up on the roof. He was no longer concealed with his invisibility, so he tried to be as stealthy as possible, looking around for any threats around them. It would appear that the rooftops around the marketplace were pretty lonely. Of course, why would the guards look over the market? Too many people to keep track of, and wasting manpower there would be a waste. Luckily for the duo, at least.

Once he had established his position on the roof, Tora turned to the edge to look around for that same man, walking with a barrel on his back. It shouldn't be too difficult to track someone like that, and surely enough, after enough examining, Tora could see a figure that resembled the description and the same one he saw earlier. He hasn't gone too far, probably because of the huge barrel slowing him down.

With Taisen by his side, Tora pointed to the man. "That's our guy. I could scout ahead without much risk. Though my limit would be ten minutes." The Genin said as he tried to contemplate the situation, trying to figure out the best approach. Their original mission was to gain as much information as possible, and with Taisen and his weapons, following someone like that was too hard without being seen.

"Or, if you're up for it, you can go invisible once again. Your movement is much better than mine, so I can follow from a distance, while you can jump rooftops and keep watch. I can get close enough without any risk. For 10 minutes, we'll both be able to follow him, you by actually being there, and me with my shadow."

That said, all they had to do was wait and see what Taisen would decide. "Lets keep low profile unless we run into something incriminating, shall we?" He ask, hoping that Taisen's love for fighting wouldn't set them back too much.

After the brief rendezvous, the two shinobi of Kirigakure more or less came up with a sort of plan to tail Tomomi, who had now turned towards the city capital, which had a massive building erected in its center to gravitate tourists to it. Unfortunately, though, the ninja Tora wouldn't see just how heavily guarded the rooftops near the marketplace was, as this was another focal area were pick-pockets and other petty criminals lay in wait to cause mayhem.

"You! Halt!!" came the sharp bark from a man dressed in green clothing. He had spotted Tora once he returned to the upper tiers of Enrai to scout out Tomomi after meeting with Taisen. It would appear that whatever these two had planned, they'd better execute it quickly---with the order coming from the lead guard, more bodies began to converge on to the scene in minutes. Each man had a crossbow in hand with a longsword swinging at his hip. The everyday Fulgetra citizen paid no heed to this surplus of men, as many kept their eyes on the streets to avoid being confronted by the harsh troops of the capital.

Elsewhere, the man that Taisen had knocked unconscious and bound within a trashcan began to stir. Angry and confused, he began to move vigorously despite the bindings on his body and knocked the trashcan open. A woman, who had heard the commotion, went to the alleyway and screamed once she saw him: this of course alerted other persons to fill in the small enclosure, as men helped the naked merchant out of the zipties.

"..I've been robbed---someone has taken my clothing and cart!" As if matters weren't bad enough, now Taisen would be targeted. It wouldn't be hard to find a man with nearly the same stature as the merchant. This happened nearly twenty-five meters away from Tora and Taisen's location, which was somewhat close to the Lightning Country's House of Void. 

Tomomi's head turned sharply at the cry of the guard telling someone to stop. He had thought it had been him and immediately, the man broke off in a fast sprint. The barrel on his back now seemed to weigh little to nothing with how quickly this rogue moved through the streets of Enrai. The Kiri duo would be better off separating to avoid being captured, yet if they chose to outright pursue this fleeing man, they would see him trying to escape into the wilds of the countryside.

tomomi is still in enrai, but he is attempting to exit. you two are to post in whichever fashion you want, but don't say you caught up to tomomi or exited this thread. there are about 7 guards at this point.

"You! Halt!"

Busted! The guards alerted to seeing Tora just as the man Taisen had knocked out earlier started making a commotion. At almost the same time, Taisen spotted the barrel-toting man they were looking for, who had bolted at the sound of the guard commotion. Everything had fallen apart at the seams. All bets were now off, they either captured Tomomi now or Mist was going to get hit.

Breaking into a sprint, the shield and Samehada both feeling like they weighed nearly nothing, Taisen could easily outpace any guards going his way. He would also start gaining on Tomomi, unless he could somehow outrun an A rank taijutsu master. The cloak that he still wore would obscure his arms and legs enough that if the guards started firing at him they could only accurately aim center of mass, and center of mass is exactly what his shield was covering. Moreover, the guards were more interested in Tora at first as it would take them awhile to make the connection between the merchant and the cloak.

With all of this working on his side, Taisen pursued Tomomi with due haste. He could tell the target was running toward the countryside, which was perfect. He wanted Tomomi to get into the country because it would be easier for both of them to evade the guards there. Since Taisen was an expert tracker, even if he lost sight of Tomomi he could easily find him again. Especially since a man hauling around such a large barrel would definitely leave a trail. However, Taisen didn't plan on letting that happen. Once he caught up to within a decent following distance, he would match pace with the target and chase him down into the countryside. Once there, he could choose to either run him down until the target ran out of energy, or simply pour on the speed and tackle him.

Either way, Tomomi was his and the guards weren't going to be able to stop him. Tora, unfortunately, would be on his own. If Tora was smart, which he definitely was, he would simply turn invisible and do his best to follow. For now, though, Taisen ignored the guards, protected his back from crossbows with his shield, ditched the covering for Samehada, and chased Tomomi towards the countryside.

With the guards showing up as if from no where, the duo were forced to act quickly. Of course, Taisen ran ahead, hot headed and thinking with his mucles. This left the Genin with the task of distracting the guards while they were there, perhaps even try to evede them. "Hot headed fuck." Tora mumbled as Taisen took off, without even consulting the Genin about what they were to do. Simply going forward and dashing away.

Knowing that simply turning invisible would do much, Tora decided on a different manner. After all, if he were to turn invisible and they shoot at his general direction, one might hit him, which would be extremely annoying. Forming hanseals under his cloak, Tora set up a Genjutsu as he raised his hands above his head. "I don't want any trouble..." He said as he stepped back, going to the edge of the building, hoping that when drawing closer the guards will enter his illusion.

With each one stepping forward the guards were to feel fascinated by something, hypnotized by the very notion of the air around them. While having them distracted, Tora was to simply fall down, forming the seals in the air and vanishing from sight as he was to land, escaping danger and leaving the guards distracted long enough to Taisen to get far ahead and himself avoided.

With that done, the Genin was still to follow his partner who was chasing a man with a barrel on his back. No point in running, since he wouldn't catch up, Tora decided to just go in the general direction he felt Tomomi was going, maybe even catch him on his way somewhere.

Description: Affects anyone who sees the target. The user is able to perform this technique on the target they touch. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 minutes per class level. This technique may be negated. The creature or object touched becomes invisible, vanishing from sight, even from darkvision. If the recipient is a creature carrying gear, that vanishes, too. If the user performs the Jutsu on someone else, neither the user nor their allies can see the subject, unless they can normally see invisible things. Items dropped or put down by an invisible creature become visible; items picked up disappear if tucked into the clothing or pouches worn by the creature. Light, however, never becomes invisible, although a source of light can become so (thus, the effect is that of a light with no visible source). Any part of an item that the subject carries but that extends more than 10 feet from it becomes visible, such as a trailing rope. Of course, the subject is not silenced, and certain other conditions can render the recipient detectable (such as stepping in a puddle). The Jutsu ends if the subject attacks any opponent. For purposes of this Jutsu, an attack includes any Jutsu targeting a foe or whose area or effect includes a foe. Actions directed at unattended objects do not break the Jutsu. Seeing no let up from the offenders, the Enrai guards let loose arrows in unison as Taisen took off after Tomomi. Tora, too, would be targeted but he would quickly disappear from the sights of all but one guard, who was proficient enough in the illusion arts to see through the deceptive invisibility technique. This green clothed man hadn't seen them chasing after Tomomi, but he did not take kind to intruders of the village. 

Given the current weight applied to Tomomi's back, one would have thought that it should have slowed him down---yet that was hardly the case. This elusive denizen proved to be highly skilled in Shunshin as he arc'd around buildings and crowds of people, leaving behind his after-image to throw the pursuing Taisen off of his trail. 

Again, all but one of the guards had been able to withstand the Genjutsu of Tora. After they had released their arrows on the two Kirinin, the guards fell down to the ground, obviously experincing the effects of the hypnotic pattern. The guard that had been able to see through both this technique and the invisibility jutsu would continue to chase after Tora, reloading his crossbow as he moved through Enrai.
