- Missions can be taken at the Raikage tower. Please copy the mission you want from here. Afterwards, you can post in the Raikage tower. The counter is at the ground floor. Post the mission in a quote or spoiler. Make it clear in your post that you want to take the mission. For example have your character ask: "May I take this mission please?".

- Some missions may require a Chuunin or Jounin to take. PM a Chuunin, Jounin or the Raikage if you're a Genin who wants to take a mission like this.

- If you want to, the Raikage or a staff member can GM a mission. Send them a PM if you'd like that.

- Genins must ask for permission to leave the village for missions. If you're going with a Chuunin, you don't need to do that.

Mission posted within this section are considered of the highest priority. If a mission is placed here, it is essential that it is completed as soon as possible, without failure. These missions are not to be taken lightly and may not be given to everyone. More times than often, these missions will also give a user special merits (such as ANBU prerequisite merits). You may be turned down on the basis of whether or not you are capable of do said mission.


Name: Covert Cloud conversion
Rank: “B” Ranked.
IIC Length: 1-2 days (user's choice).
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
Description: Gaining more strength is always a priority within Kumogakure amongst other things. The village will often accept new comers into the village and assign them roles a new shinobis. With the uprising of recent events, it has come to the attention of Kumogakure that recruiting new ninja, without proper screening, produces a security risk. New shinobi can bring the village harm if not properly screened, mind wiped and controlled. To prevent this occurrence, the village will pay shinobis for recruitment. Many shinobis within Kumogakure are capable of mental suggestion. If the said ninja performs the task for the village, they will be paid a compensation for their work.
Please note: This mission is not found within any IC location, and is strictly given to a select few OOC by the Raikage or staff.
Objective: If a person is capable of mental suggestion, they can recruit new ninja into the village. They must bring a detail report to the kage, and prove the mental modification. Pay will be given thereafter…
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. At least one of Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 65,000 ryo as well as a new Kumo comrade!


Name: Headband collector.
Rank: “B” Ranked
IIC Length: To be determined during the mission.
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
Description: Kumogakure no Sato wishes to build on its collection of headbands. By doing this, the village’s power and strength will increase. These head bands will become a valuable asset to Kumogakure during certain missions. The village will buy head bands from anyone, as long as they authentic, no questions asked.
Objective: Collect head bands by any means necessary and sell them to Kumogakure. Otogakure and Konohagakure headbands will not be accepted in order to preserve our alliances.
Reward: 65,000 ryo per headband. Additional bonuses may be given to head bands of greater interests.


Name: The spying game.
Rank: “B” Ranked.
IIC Length: N/A.
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
Description: To boost the ability and prowess of Kumogakure no Sato, the mission to locate as many other hidden villages as possible has been created. The objectives are simple. A Kumogakure shinobi must search the world for more shinobi villages and mark them on a map. This is a dangerous mission since you must keep your identity and objectives secret to all who are around you. If your mission is put in jeopardy, bail on the goals and return to Kumogakure with as much knowledge as you can. May be part of Owl ANBU credit.
Objective: May be repeated completed 6 times. Areas of non-interest include Konoha, Oto as well as Yuki.
Personnel requirements: A user of Chuunin rank or higher. 1-3 ninja in total.
Reward: 65,000 ryo (60,000 ryo for a non-nin) for each location marked down and information gather upon.
NB: Please note you will have to purchase a regional map in order to mark secret villages down accurately. Attempting to mark a country or continental map will not work!


Name: And so, the lab had its test subject...
Rank: “B” Ranked.
IIC Length: Variable.
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
Description: To boost the intellectual prowess of Kumogakure as well as prove a person’s worth as a shinobi hunter, Kumogakure will be paying shinobi for live captures. A person captured that is an PC outsider to the village will prove to be a valuable test subject for our laboratory experimentation and/or the advancement of our medical knowledge. A captured person will be taken care of by ANBU and be placed in either the prison, labs, or hospital where his/her fate will be determined later. A deceased body may be taken in and used by the village as well, as attempting to capture a person alive may result in death. This type of capture is variable and must be under the kage's review first.
Objective: Capture any PC character and allow the village to take care of the rest.
Personnel requirements: At least 1 Chuunin ranked shinobi.
Reward: 55,000 ryo (50,000 ryo for a non-nin) for each body. Will count as a Falcon mission credit if a team is taken. Dead bodies may be taken depending on the level of decay (minus 5,000 Ryo cumulatively for each level of decay).

Economic missions:


Missions that fall under the “economic missions” category are very important, second only to that of interactive and high priority missions. These missions influence various things within Kumogakure thus why they are so important. These missions can be anything from constructing a new building, gathering resources, or even buying outside merchandise for the village. Whatever they may be, they surely alter and improve the life of the village over all.



Name: Village patrol (day time).
Rank: “D” Rank.
IIC Length: 1 day
Difficulty: Easy.
Description: Patrolling around the village during the day! The day patrol includes moving between any shops to watch for thievery as well as moving about various sections of town to ensure that people are not entering in areas where they should not be. Any civil disputes should be handled fairly, as any reports of things being handled unfairly will make their way to the Raikage.
Objective: May be repeated three times.
Ensure safety of village. Patrol as much of the village as possible. Return with status report.
Personnel requirements: 1-2 shinobis of any rank. May be performed in groups if one choose so.
Reward: 10,000 ryo (8,500 for a non-nin).


Name: Village patrol (night time).
Rank: “D” Rank.
IIC Length: 1 day.
Difficulty: Easy.
Description: Patrolling around the village during the night! The night patrol includes moving between any empty shops, alleyways, night stores: to watch for thievery as well as moving about various sections of town to ensure that people are not entering in areas where they should not be. Suspicious activity during the night must be handled swiftly and accordingly to what has occurred.
Objective:May be repeated three times.
Ensure safety of village during the night. Patrol as much of the village as possible. Return with status report.
Personnel requirements: 1-2 shinobis of any rank. May be performed in groups if one choose so.
Reward: 10,000 ryo (8,500 for a non-nin).


Name: Border patrol (N, S, E, W).
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Description: To keep the defense of the village the Raikage has asked her ninja to perform border patrol on all sides of the country. Your job will be to watch for any threats and either stop the threats or report to the tower immediately.
Objective: Choose a border and ensure the safety of it.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis of any rank.
Reward: 28,000 ryo (25,000 for a non-nin). More may be added if a PC threat is involved.


Name: Village patrol (3 days straight).
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 1-2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Description: You are given the task to patrol the village for three days straight! This mission is of course very similar to the past patrol mission, expect that the work shift will last day through the night. The patrol includes moving between any shops to watch for thievery as well as moving about various sections of town to ensure that people are not entering in areas where they should not be. Any civil disputes should be handled fairly, as any reports of things being handled unfairly will make their way to the Raikage.
Objective: May be repeated three times.
Ensure safety of village. Patrol as much of the village as possible. Return with status report.

Name: Village gate duty (tunnel system).
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 1 day.
Difficulty: Easy.
Description: A small shortage of ANBU has caused a necessary demand for shinobi to patrol the villages tunnel system. With your help, we may ensure that safety is never jeopardized for our tunnel systems.
You are asked to patrol the tunnel system: checking for abnormalities/cracks within the tunnel, checking for any usual activity, etc, etc. To ensure that you are not lost and or followed, an ANBU guard will seek you out, and return you to safety as you may be lost within the tunnel as well. Report to the Raikage’s tower soon after.
Objective: May be repeated 2 times.
Patrol the tunnel system. Make a proper status check and make sure you are not followed. Return to kage’s tower for completion.
Personnel requirements: 1-2 shinobis of any rank. May be performed in groups if one choose so.
Reward: 23,000 ryo (21,000 ryo for a non-nin).



Name: Village gate duty (perimeter patrol).
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 1 day.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Description: A small shortage of ANBU has caused a necessary demand for shinobi to patrol the village’s endless forest. With your help, we may ensure that safety is never jeopardized for our first line of defense.
You are asked to patrol the endless forest: checking for abnormalities or usual activity, etc, etc. Be sure that you are not followed what so ever. Failure to ensure that you are not being tracked and followed will result in a mission failure and possibly placing Kumogakure in harm way. Do what is necessary to prevent yourself from being followed and meet the requirements that we have set.
Objective: May be repeated once.
Patrol the endless forest, make a proper status check and make sure you are not followed. Return to Raikage’s tower for completion.
Personnel requirements: 1-2 shinobis of any rank. May be performed in groups if one choose so.

Collecting missions:

Missions that fall under the category of "collection missions" are very important to the Kumogakure. These mission types usually asks for shinobis to collect and purchase various items for Kumogakure. Books, animals, plants or even people can be collected and brought to the village. This will greatly effect the economy, therefore improving life here in Kumogakure overall. All gathering missions for Kumogakure bypass rank requirements, as anyone can find a book or herb to bring back.

NB! All missions ranked "B" or higher requires a game master. PM the Raikage if nobody is available.



Name: Filling the shelves. Hippocratic Corpus, The Art of Cooking, and Textbook of Animal Breeding. Can only be taken once a month.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 1-2 days.
Difficulty: Easy – moderate.
Description: Kumogakure wishes to increase its knowledge in nearly every aspect. There are books within this world which contain invaluable information for Kumogakure. The Raikage and the village desire various basic texts to fill the libraries with concrete knowledge. These books can be purchased and bought through out the world.
The Raikage will provide the money for the cost of the books. The number and type of books needed depends on the Raikage's word and village needs. A list of desired books will be provided, so copies or doubles are not bought.
Objective: Purchase the books and bring them back to Kumogakure no Sato.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis of any rank.
Reward: 23,000 Ryo for each completion (21,000 ryo for a non-nin) and reimbursement of the book price.


Name: Growing plants.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days IIC.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Find an herb for the village. Minimum amount of herbs to be given in is two. The maximum is four. NB: It can’t be an herb that the village has more than 20 of! You can't hand in more than two identical herbs.
Description: The new Raikage wants to increase the diversity of herbs in the research facility. Common herbs which are easy to experiment on should encourage shinobis to learn more about them. What you need to do is to find some herbs we don't have. After you've dug them up, turn them in at the Raikage tower.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis of any rank.
Reward: 28,000 Ryo for each completion (26,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Uncommon growths.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
Objective: Find some herbs for the village. Minimum amount of herbs to be given in is four. The maximum is six. NB: It can’t be an herb that the village has more than 20 of. At least two of them must be uncommon or harder to find. You can't hand in more than two identical herbs.
Description: It is time to up the plant game! A large variety of herbs should inspire and teach Kumogakure more about them. What you need to do is to find some herbs we don't have. After you've dug them up, turn them in at the Raikage tower.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis of any rank. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 55,000 Ryo for each completion (50,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Elusive flora.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length:2 days.
Difficulty:Hard.
Objective: Find some herbs for the village. Minimum amount of herbs to be given in is seven. The maximum is ten.
NB: It can’t be an herb that the village has more than 20 of. At least two of them must be rare or harder to find. You can't hand in more than two identical herbs.
Description: Looks like it's time to step up our game. We need to add some rare growths into our collection. These herbs will be used for research, mixing poisons or alchemy. What you need to do is to find some herbs we don't have. After you've dug them up, turn them in at the Raikage tower.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 65,000 Ryo for each completion (60,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Friendly furries.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Easy.
Objective: Find a female and a male common animal of two species for the institute.
Description: The newly opened institute are in desperate need of some cute and cool human friendly animals. They can attract children plus their family to the institute. Furthermore, friendly animals are easier to experiment on. Small to medium sized animals such as rabbits or sheep are preferred. You need to catch AT LEAST a male plus a female of two species!
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins can take this mission alone.
Reward: 23,000 Ryo for each completion (21,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Animals of the farthing wood.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Find a female and a male common animal of three different species.
Description: Our wildlife section could need some variety. We would like you to find common animals from the forests, grasslands, coastal or rural areas. This can be an extra income source. Common small to medium sized animals such as squirrels, owls, cod fish or stags are preferred. You need to catch AT LEAST a male plus a female of three different species!
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins can take this mission alone.
Reward: 28,000 Ryo for each completion (25,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Pet zoo project.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Help out in making the animals more effective.
Description: A small group of farmers just showed up at our doorstep. They want us to help with making their animals more productive. All of these farmers are providing supermarkets in Kumogakure with animal products. Your job is to assist in the research. Feeding plans, vitamins or environment adjustments are just some of the important factors.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins can take this mission alone.
Reward: 28,000 Ryo for each completion (26,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Spying animals.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Find land animals or birds that can be used for ANBU missions. Give each animal a tailored food plan plus how they should live.
Description: One of the ANBU Academy executives has given us an important task. They want us to find five common to rare land animals. Said animals will be used during their missions. These creatures must have superb vision, excellent sense of smell or the ability to guard prisoners. These land animals can’t be poisonous or be bigger than 4 feet. Animals that can pose as pets or blend into most environments (such as falcons or dogs) are preferred. You have to give a food plan plus advices on how each animal should live as well.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 55,000 Ryo for each completion (52,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Noah needs help.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Hard.
Objective: Find a rare male and female animal of the same species. Make sure they produce children.
Description: A couple of the scientists came up with a brilliant idea. To show that our institute is top-notch, they want rare animals can breed here. This will benefit the institution in research plus economy. The downside is that we don’t have any rare animals at the moment. Your job is to catch a female as well as a male uncommon animal of the same species. Examples of such animals are wild horses or mongoose. Bring it back to the institute and make sure that the female gets pregnant. That includes providing the right environment plus giving them fertility treatment.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 65,000 Ryo for each completion (62,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Madagascar!
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Find six exotic animals for the institute.
Description: Kumogakure is unfortunately situated far up north. This means we don’t have a lot of exotic animals. Your job is to catch some small to medium sized rare exotic animals we can show in the zoo. Animals such as marmoset monkeys, cheetahs or pandas are all in this category. A bonus will be given for poisonous animals or two different genders of the same specie. A venomous snake or two lions with different genders are examples of this.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 55,000 Ryo for each completion (52,000 ryo for a non-nin). 8,000 ryo bonus for poisonous animals or both genders of one specie.


Name: Getting toxic.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Hard.
Objective: Find six poisonous animals for the institute. Assist in extracting poison from each of these.
Description: Using poison in battle is a method that never gets old. But we don’t have any animal poison that we can use. You need to capture six animals that have enough poison that can cause serious injuries or major discomfort. Animals with such poison are giant hornets, aarakians or snakes. The next task is to help the scientists extract the poison. Be aware since many of these animals are quite aggressive!
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 65,000 ryo for shinobis (60,000 ryo for non-shinobis). 10,000 ryo bonus for both genders of one specie.


Name: Animal kingdom.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Hard.
Objective: Catch at least eight uncommon or rare animals. You need to catch at least both genders of three different species.
Description: Our zoo could benefit more diversity as well as rarity. This is why you need to catch some more uncommon animals. Vultures, wolverines, fire toads plus dolphins are examples of animals we need. Six of these animals MUST be of different gender and from three different species. 3 species x 2 genders = 6 animals. This will ensure that we will have a bigger diversity to research or display in our zoo. Very rare animals plus both genders of four species or more is rewarded with a bonus.
Personnel requirements: 1-3 shinobis. Genins must be accompanied by someone who has a Chuunin rank or higher.
Reward: 65,000 ryo for shinobis (60,000 ryo for non-shinobis). 10,000 ryo bonus for both genders of one specie.

Common missions:

Common missions are missions that most shinobis do to improve their skills in teamwork, leadership or using their acquired skills. These missions are often assigned by private institutions such as shops, politicians or even companies. Being a shinobi village means that it is our duty to help out those who are in need of our assistance. Low-level missions rarely poses any danger for Genins. But missions of rank “B” or above should only been done by or with higher-ranked shinobis.



Name: PERVEERT!
Rank: “D” Rank.
IIC Length: 24 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People required: 1-2 Genins or 1 Chuunin/Jounin.
Objective: Catch the peeping tom in the hot springs.
Description: A large hot spring in the city center of Kumogakure no Sato has received complaints from the female visitors. Apparently, there is a peeping tom who is lurking around in the female’s hot springs. The staff has noticed that the peeping tom appears at the springs between 3 PM and 7 PM. You need to catch this pest before the hot spring starts to lose money.
Reward: 12,500 ryo (11,500 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Miss badass.
Rank: “D” rank.
IIC length: 24 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: Up to three Genins or a Chuunin with one or two Genins. Must have decent knowledge in a taijutsu style.
Objective: Teach the females self-defence.
Description: The council would like some capable shinobis to teach self-defence at a girls only seminar. The participants are 8 – 85 year old females. Your job is to teach them basic moves that they can use to defend themselves. Remember that the participants are civilians that can’t mold chakra. In addition, the youngest participants are unable to use heavy weapons.
Reward: 12,000 ryo. Shinobis only


Name: Field terror.
Rank: “C” rank.
IIC Length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: One to three Genins or a Chuunin with one or two Genins.
Objective: Arrest or scare the missing-nins.
Description: A wealthy farmer has sent a letter of distress to the Raikage. A group of missing-nins have threatened to kill some of their precious cows. Your job is to ambush the bandits and make sure they don’t return. Make sure you don't damage the animals and/or property!
Reward: 30,000 ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!?
Rank: “C” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Easy-moderate.
People/skills required: Up to three Genins or a Chuunin with 1-3 Genins.
Objective: Catch the dogs and bring them back to their owners.
Description: Some drunken idiots decided it was a good idea to 'free' three dogs in a random street. The good news? The idiots have been arrested. The bad news? The dogs are still on the loose. To make matters worse, a nasty thunderstorm is approaching Kumogakure no Sato. Your job is to bring the dogs back to their rightful owners. Dogs and thunderstorms does not mix well!
Reward: 25,000 ryo (15,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Gang wars.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Description: Small turf wars from gangs within the village have been breaking out lately, and causing havoc within Kumogakure. These gangs consist of Academy flunkies, bandits and the run of the mill thug. Due to a shortage of ANBU, these gangs have run rampant though out Kumogakure.
These gangs are commonly found around the financial districts, market places and crafting shops. They usually attempt to shake down store owners. With this information, devise a plan to stop the gang and its members. Set traps, attacking head on or genjutsus may prove effective.
Objective: May be repeated 5 times.
Head to any of these locations. Use any means necessary to stop these thugs.
Personnel Requirements: 1-3 Genin and 1 Chuunin.
Reward: 30,000 ryo (20,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: We’re the survivors.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People required: 1-2 Genins or 1 Chuunin/Jounin.
Objective: Teach the Academy kids the basic about survival.
Description: Many of the Academy kids were amazed how the shinobis managed to save them. The Academy teachers have requested the Raikage for some assistance. All of the students now have to attend obligatory survival lessons. Your job is to teach an Academy class about basic survival. This can include how to light a campfire, CPR, use a compass plus basic hunting. The teachers want the lesson to be solid. If your role play is good, you will get a bonus (GM discretion).
Reward: 30,000 ryo (25,000 ryo for a non-nin). Shinobis only.


Name: Body of an animal, mind of a human. Can only be taken once a month.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC length: 24 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
Objective: Train the bird.
Description: The Raikage has five new service birds. These birds must be trained to do certain skills. Your mission must increase the skill with at least 20 points or up to mastery. Handle these birds with care. They have the same level of importance as Kumogakure shinobis.
Reward: 30,000 ryo (25,000 ryo for a non-nin). Must know how to train birds.

IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People required: Up to three Genins or a Chuunin with up to three Genins.
Objective: Kill the plant monster of large size or bigger and at least a “C” rank difficulty. And must take at least five to seven good posts.
Description: A Ikebana experiment turned horribly wrong. A Ikebana gardener was looking to create a new kind of flower for couples to share. Unfortunately, the plant turned into a monstrosity. This flower based creature is on its way towards Enrai. Get rid of this monster before it eats innocent pets or people!
Reward: 30,000 ryo.


Name: The mysterious maestro. Requires a GM.
Rank: “B” rank.
IIC Length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.

Description: A carpenter company has sent an emergency call to the village. Four carpenters that were going to build a tourist cottage near a forest has been hospitalized. Their injuries ranges from ruptured eardrums to dizziness. The company wants you to find out who or what caused these injuries. Especially since this forest has no animals or people living nearby.
Reward: 55,000 ryo.


Name: Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me...Requires a GM.
Rank: “B” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
People/skills required: A Chuunin or Jounin with up to three Genins.
Objective: Protect the cargo and defeat the pirates.
Description: A shipping company has sent a request to the Raikage. A band of pirates ambushed their previous delivery to Mizu no Kuni. What makes these pirates dangerous was their ninjutsu skills. The shinobis taking on this mission must go undercover as crew members on the company’s next delivery. Your job is to defeat the pirates. Killing the pirates is allowed if they threaten to kill you, your teammates or the civilians. Make sure you don’t damage the cargo!
Reward: 65,000 ryo and a 5,000 ryo bonus if you kill at least two pirates. Shinobis only.


Name: Mine mayhem. Can be taken once a month. Requires a GM. Repeatable.
Rank: “B” rank.
IIC Length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: One Chuunin or a Chuunin with up to two Genins.
Objective: Get rid of all the creatures in the mine shaft.
Description: A senior goldsmith in Kumogakure no Sato would like some brave shinobis to extract precious metals and gemstones from a mining shaft. This particular shaft is rich in both. The bad news? The shaft is filled with dangerous creatures! The shinobis taking on this mission must enter the mine shaft. Next, they need to find what the gold smith wants. Keep in mind that the mine shaft is dark with a limited amount of space. You're allowed to murder the creatures if they threaten to kill you or your teammates.
Reward: 55,000 ryo (45,000 ryo for a non-nin).


Name: Scary substances. Requires a GM.
Rank: “B” Rank.
IIC Length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Hard.
People required: A Chuunin/Jounin with up to three Genins.
Objective: Go undercover and clear out the drug ring.
Description: The ANBU agents working at Kaminari’s largest harbour city has noticed something scary. It seems as if a drug ring is using the harbour as a market place for their goods. The high amount of traffic makes it a lot harder to catch them. Your job is to go undercover as a criminal. Use your skills to clear out the drug ring. The sooner this gets done, the better.
Reward: 65,000 ryo (55,000 ryo for a non-nin).

Name: Top dog.
Rank: “D” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Easy-moderate.
People/skills required: Max two people on each team.
Description: You're up against a pair of wild dogs that were caught in the north of Kaminari no Kuni. The fight will take place in the arena, which is set to a forest environment. Both of the dogs are rather feral, but not huge in size. Your job is to knock out - not kill - the two dogs. Make sure you put up a really good show for the spectators too!
Objective: Defeat the two dogs.
Reward: 7,000 ryo (5,000 for a non-shinobi).


Name: Double, double, toil and trouble.
Rank: “D” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Moderate-hard.
People/skills required: Max two people on each team.
Description: A pair of Academy students who are graduating next year would like to test their skills. These may be best friends, step siblings, neighbors or twins. What you need to look out for is their superb teamwork. It does not take a shinobi to know that good teamworkers often win their battles...
Objective: Defeat the two Academy students.
Reward: 15,500 Ryo (13,500 Ryo for a non-shinobi).


Name: Class fight.
Rank: “C” Rank.
IIC Length: 2 days.
Difficulty: Easy-moderate.
People/skills required: Max two Genins on each team.
Description: You're up against a Genin who graduated last year. This Genin are one of the top students of their class and is already at “C”-rank (“B”-rank if you are two Genins). Your job is to knock out - not kill - the Genin. Make sure you put up a really good show for the spectators too!
Objective: Defeat the Genin.
Reward: 25,000 Ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: Battle of the seasons.
Rank: “C” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate – hard.
People/skills required: Max two shinobis on each team.
Objective: Win the match.
Description: The battle dome have just upgraded their weather machine and landscape. Every fourth turn, the season will change. I.e. sunny and warm for summer or lots of rain showers and mild temperatures for spring. The weather may affect the arena plus the battle as well. Heavy rain can cause mud slides and be a pain for katon users for instance. How well can you adjust to the four seasons of Kaminari no Kuni?
Reward: 32,000 ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: I am crawling in the dark, but will I find the answer?

IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: Max two shinobis on each team.
Objective: Win the match.
Description: Time to test your real skills. The participants will be fighting in an arena that simulates the darkest hour of a winter day. On the other team is one or two soulcaster-genjutsu priests. You won’t be able to see anything or anyone. How will you fare when you can’t even see your own hand?
Reward: 28,000 ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: Shinobis vs. samurais!
Rank: “C” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: Max two shinobis on each team.
Objective: Win the match.
Description: A couple of martial artists would like to fight against the shinobis of Kumogakure no Sato to test their skills. Each dojang will send two students who are 20 – 35 years old to face two shinobis. These students may not know ninjutsu, but they certainly have other skills to compensate for this.
Reward: 28,000 ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: Not so heavy metal.
Rank: “C” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: Max two people on each team.
Objective: Win the match.
Description: Most shinobis bring weapons to their fights. But this fight won’t allow ANYTHING made of metal. This includes gadgets, clothes plus jewellery. The contestants can however bring items made of wood, glass, plastic or a combination of these.
Reward: 28,000 ryo (25,000 ryo for non-shinobis).


Name: Under the sea.
Rank: “B” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Moderate.
People/skills required: Max two shinobis on each team. At least one of them must be Chuunin or higher.
Objective: Win the match.
Description: Let’s get real guys. Kaminari no Kuni has not only one, but two huge coastlines. Each end of the arena is a beach while the middle is a 50 feet deep sea. The weather in the dome can change with the snap of a finger, just like on the coast. Oh, one more thing. The sea area contains a lot of dangerous creatures (creatures will be decided by the GM). How will you defeat your enemy when there is a sea separating you?
Reward: 60,000 ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: Age is just a number, right?
Rank: “B” rank.

Difficulty: Hard.
People/skills required: Max two shinobis on each team. At least one of them must be Chuunin or higher.
Objective: Win the match.
Description: It’s easy to forget that we have a number of skilled shinobis who are more than 50 years old. Your job is to fight against one senior shinobis (two if you are two people taking the mission). Keep in mind that these shinobis have survived screaming babies, high-ranked missions, hostage situations as well as shinobi wars. This is a dangerous combination that should NOT be underestimated!
Reward: 70,000 ryo. Shinobis only.


Name: A horrendous match.
Rank: “B” rank.
IIC length: 48 hours.
Difficulty: Hard.
People/skills required: Max two shinobis on each team. At least one of them must be Chuunin or higher.
Objective: Win the match and conquer your fears.
Description: Shinobis often have to face their own fears. For that very reason, a soulcaster-genjutsu specialist has paired up with the scientists for a combined match. The specialist will use a combo of jutsus to make the battle dome scarier. Said battle dome will have a creepy environment that is going to benefit the specialist. How will the battle go when you have to fight what you fear the most?
