The sound of the constant downpour of rain which was unique to Amegakure was something long forgotten by Yakou – it once was a familiar, calming melody when he last resided here. The only thing that made that place he called an orphanage bearable. Yakou walked down the rainy street with umbrella, which kept his white yukata top and black pants dry.
While making his way through the village, he thought about the day that he returned to the village, how he wondered just how he would feel would be to actually serve as an Ame shinobi. Everything led up to this, but where would it lead him now? His lavender eyes found themselves staring off into the distant towards the Amekage tower.
He hadn’t a clue what happened in the past in regards to the village, but he felt that now that he was a genin, he had to make his way through the ranks. Yaboku once told Yakou about the process necessary to move up in the ranks, but there was the matter of teams to settle. Would he have to work with others? He hadn’t a clue how to deal with most people, and didn’t really know what to expect of people his age, having spent most of his time with his master on the road. Whilst pondering on this thought, he dug into one of his pockets, feeling for the scroll which was given to his before his exam.
It was something he glanced over briefly when he left the exam location, though it read something along the lines, “Your Ninjutsu and Genjutsu skills are quite behind in comparison to others. While you’re quite skilled in Taijutsu, and you can’t just freely use your bloodline limit. You have potential in these other areas, so they shouldn't be ignored. Practice with diligence and you will surely be a fine shinobi.” which was true.
‘I am still a seed, waiting to bloom. . .’ He thought to himself, regarding the vast experience and knowledge his master and other higher level shinobi held over him. If he wanted to get anywhere near their level, he had to continue to hone his skills.
“But where do I practice?”
