Part 3
[??/30]
After a long while of practicing with the mud, he had finally got the speed up to par with what the jutsu called for. He was able to bind and harden the mud around his clone in the blink of an eye now and he knew that it would be a dangerous jutsu in his hands. Even so, the jutsu was still not completed, as he still needed to test its limits and find out everything about it, as well as use it in combat to test its true worth. First he needed to test its strength against another attack of his to see if it would break by the power of his jutsus. Opponents often had allies that would be able to break the opponent out of the binding jutsu, and he needed to know how much it would take to break them out.
He performed a few of his jutsus on it and watched the mud withstand every one that he hit it with. It was a powerful binding and it would take a lot of physical force to be able to break it. An opponent would not be able to break out of the binding or have someone break them out so easily. Exactly how much force it would require to break the hardened mud, he was not sure, but it had withstood all the attacks that he had made against it with barely a scratch. It was good info to note that it would be one of his best binding techniques that would be able to hold all but the most powerful shinobi as long as he was able to encompass enough of their body within the mud. It was of course limited by the amount of them that was actually encased into the hardened mud.
Now that he had learned how to perform the jutsu and had learned all he needed to know about the jutsu for the moment, he sat down and closed his eyes. He wanted to start making sure that he noted all relevant information and remembered everything that was learned during the training. Going over strategies and ways to use it in combat was also another thing for him to think about. Hard work was not the only thing that was needed to be strong, one needed to be able to think and learn and use their brain and their knowledge that it held against opponents. He would begin to make sure to imcorporate this step into his future trainings to make sure he knew everything that he could know about the jutsu and had it all stored within his own brain. He figured that eventually he would need to begin to use his jutsu book to right down all of the jutsus that he had learned and all the info about it.
After finishing thinking, Oron opened his eyes and stood back up. Now it was time to test the power of his new jutsu in battle. He first created another water clone that would be his opponent in this spar. It was again supposed to go all out and he was supposed to catch them and bind them with his new technique. Once they were both in position, Oron signaled for the start of the fight. The clone had positioned itself on the water and was beginning to use its usually Teppodama. This was troublesome to Oron because he needed to guide the clone onto solid ground so that he could trap it in the mud and use the jutsu. While he was still thinking up a strategy, the Teppodama flew at him and he was able to roll away from it. Planting his feet he performed the Deido Nohara no Jutsu to create another field of mud on the edge of the water.
After creating the mud field, he drew one of his katanas and ran towards his clone, charging the senbon between his teeth with lightning and spitting it towards the clones, to prevent it from using another jutsu. In response to the senbon, the clone was forced to draw its own katana and deflect it. The clone then decided to run towards Oron and they met at a running pace and clashed swords. As Oron’s katana clashed he slid it over the clone’s katana and used his momentum to flip over the clone onto the other side. Once he landed he moved forwards with a barrage of strikes that drove the clone back towards the mud field that he had created.
The clone obviously did not realize Oron’s plan until it was too late. As the clone’s foot touched the ground, it came to the sudden realization of what Oron had been doing, but Oron had already begun his hand seals. As the clone continued to stagger backwards, the mud formed around him and covered him as far as Oron would allow without allowing the clone to escape. Once the clone was covered enough, he released the final seal and the mud hardened, trapping the clone. Oron walked up to the clone once more, drawing both blades and crossing them at the clone’s neck. He crossed his blades and the clone dissolved back down to its water form, seeping into the mud around it.
