These pouches are scroll length so they are able to hold knives, senbon, kunai and other items that are the same length as a scroll. Personality
Mugen is a magician. Or atleast he fancies himself one. He talks, moves, acts, and dresses like the world is a stage and he's the star attraction. He's eccentric and playful, though often comes off as overconfident or cocky. He isn't the fighting type, and tends to hide behind his teammates in a fight, supporting them with his genjutsu. He'll show off his tricks, even when others, especially his teammates, don't care to see. He does tend to draw crowds during street performances. Children love to watch him make cards fly from his hat. However, this playful attitude and appearance can quickly fade at the drop of a pin. At this moment a much darker magician comes out.
This darker side of him is much less playful. He becomes silent and brooding. His usually magic talk remains, but much more violent tempered, and very threatening. While his lighter half's movements are loose and designed to show off, his darker side moves much more focused and usually hidden under his cloak. He no longer is interested in performing his lighter side's magic trickes. He becomes solely focused on removing the cause of his shift. He also becomes much more inclined to fight, and unlike his lighter half, this side of him is happy to go one on one with an opponent.
This magician act of his, while fun for him, often bothers his allies and teammates. They can never tell if he he is playing or serious. Same can be said for his switching personalities, as no one know just wait or how the switched in personality will react to a situation. But he has proven over and over that when he's needed , he always comes through with a stunning performance. He has no problem with assiting in violence, murder, and the darker arts of life. His mother dead, his sister selling her body for drugs, raised poor and no father, Mugen understood hardships in life and took every opportunity to escape them. Even if it means shoving them onto others.
Appearance
Mugen has short black hair with blue tips which is covered by a silk black top hat. He has brown, almond shaped eyes and pale white skin. His face has a round look to it and his lips are pale. His cheeks usually a rosy blush to them because of the cold wet conditions he lives in. He hasn't started to grow in real facial hair so his face is still smooth.
He has a average build for his over five and a half foot frame. His skin is even paler then his face. A few nicks and scars, but nothing major. He does have a tattoo. A drunken mistake after a mission. Its of a white tiger on his left shoulder. He wears a black shirt under a black silk cloak. He has many hidden slots and pockets in both his shirt and cloak for both his magic tricks and weapons. He wears his oil umbrella on his back via slots stitched into the back of the cloak. Senbon are kept in the umbrella.
He has black silk pants with more hidden pockets and slots for his magic. He has black shoes while not in the field, black combat boots while in. He also has a set of combat pants and a more durable cloak for longer or more combat oriented missions. The combat gear has all the same pockets and compartments that his silk outfit does. He wears his headband in his cloak. Its stitched into the right side opening.
Background
Mugen Genka grew up in the Hidden Rain all his life. He was born to a poor family. His father ran a bar before Mugen was born, but was killed in a mugging only a few months before his wife gave birth. Mugen's mother, Kasumi Genka, was forced to raise him and his older sister by herself. Because of this, she was rarely ever home, having to work two jobs just to feed her family. Mugen's sister was also rarely home. She got involved in a darker crowd and before Mugen was out of the academy, his sister left home.
Mugen as a young child was left alone for most of his time. He didn't have many friends, so he turned his attention to books. But since he and his family was poor, he learned at a early age how to many books "disappear" from a local book store. It was through these books he learned of the skills that ould shape his life. Magic. He was immediately drawn into the stories of magicians and illusionists as they would wow crowds with tricks and sleight of hand. It became his dream to become a famous magician. He was even learned a few tricks himself. This might have also been the reason that when he started his ninja trained, his instructors noticed he was adept at Genjutsu.
While Mugen dreamed of stages and spotlights, reality had other plans. His mother had become ill. Without the money to pay for treatment, Mugen did the only thing he could. He would become a shinobi to pay for it. She would die before he ever made it to graduation. Her death would change him. He would become more eccentric. He replaced his traditional shinobi gear with a black cloak and black top hat. He started to talk and act like he was on stage. Even using techniques, he treated them as magic tricks. He also started to develop a darker personality. Mugen started to show signs of split personality disorder. But because it only started to show later in his academy days, and just after his mother passed, his teachers took it was grief and overlooked it

Effect: This Jutsu causes the target to think that the floor or ground below them has turned into a living, writhing horrible mass of barbs, tentacles, teeth, and claws.

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 living creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 1 day per class level. This technique may be negated. The illusion is visual, audible, and reasonably believable to the touch. The base surface appears as such for a 35 meter radius around the affected target, causing the target to climb up upon stairwells, tree limbs, furniture or even try hang to columns and rafters in an effort to get away from the floor. Fully convinced that the floor or ground is alive, targets of Floor of Horror have been known to remain in such a position for hours at a stretch, afraid of the horrors that seem to seethe across the ground and floor. While under the effect the target suffers a ‒2 against additional saves.
