The Playing Field
The playing field is an arena open to anyone signed up for it. The rules are simple, in this arena you may only use your bare fists to win your fights; this means no weapons, items, techniques, or augments. The only things you will have in this arena is your character and the clothes they are wearing. Characters may be treated as if they have zero training points, or they may both keep their rank; this decision is made by the person being challenged.
There is an alternative, which is using loadouts. Both fighters will be equipped with a set of items, techniques, augments, etc; all of which both fighters can agree upon. These are free of usual site limitations, so both characters can have access to the same loadout and individual techniques from things such as releases may be selected.
If you wish to compete in the arena then you must sign up. You can do this by sending me a PM to this account, along with which character you will be using, after which I will promptly add you to the list:
- Ryoko

Once you are added you may challenge other people on the list, but in order to do so you must first select an arena. To save time there are a few premade arenas that have been picked out for those who cannot be bothered to make a custom arena.
- Steepcliff; rough terrain, plenty of rocks to throw around... careful you don't fall off.
- Darkforest; more places to sneak around, a lot less open and clear; very dark at night.
- Frozenlake; just as written, a frozen lake to fight on... frosty.
- Lavabridge; for those seeking a little more drama.[/ul]
To use one of these simply state which one you will be using at the beginning of a battle, the challenged fighter gets to select which arena to use. Do not feel limited to these, however; the playing field is a sandbox arena after all. Only one fight may be in progress at one time, simply to avoid confusion. There is a 48 hour IIC for all arena fights.
On a final note, do not feel limited by your characters personality. You are free to go all out with whichever character you prefer, remorse or not in the playing field is something the roleplayer decides; not the characters alignment.[/blockquote][/font][/div]
