11 Storage Spaces - Grand House
The first thing that anyone would notice when approaching the manor, is that the outside of the building looks luxurious and well kept. Well tended shrubbery etches a path up to the front of a three story (four if you count the small tower) home. Walking up a set of white stone stairs will bring you to a slightly-raised level where you can either take the left or right path to circle to the back of the place, or take one of the two double-doors on the front. Ivy encases most of the right side of the manor, leaving it with a kind of enchanting feel to it. All in all, just looking at the building from the outside would leave one with the sense that wealthy owners lived within...
Well that's not exactly the case. Upon entering, one would indeed be met with a nice foyer. But further inspection of the manor would leave one with the obvious impression that it isn't finished. Half of the rooms are completely empty, some dilapidated, others being used to just store various junk in boxes scattered all over the room. So yes, while the outside may look amazing, the inside... well, only some of it is completed.
The home itself sits on the eastern end of Kirigakure, and has sat there for ages. The manor has been passed down through families, landing eventually on a caretaker who was more concerned with ninja work than taking care of the once beautiful house itself. That owner's name is Takeo Ikeda, a man of 38 years who busies himself with ninja work and training his "adopted" daughter Seira, who he intends to one day pass the manor down to... Though he certainly doesn't mind the thought of her wanting to bring the manor back to its former glory.

FIRST FLOOR
Probably the most intact part of the manor. It's also the most crowded, as it has the majority of day-to-day rooms that just about everyone spends their time in. These are mostly residential rooms, without the bedrooms which are up on the higher floors. The first floor consists of the basic required living areas. Beyond the foyer, however, things do start to take a turn for the worse. Thankfully, Seira busies herself with keeping the place tidy while she's not away, something that she constantly scolds Takeo for not doing.
FOYER
Upon entering, if you stood in the center of the front area, you would notice two brilliantly-decorated oak double-doors both to your left, and one to your right. These lead both into, and out of, the manor. Directly behind you would stand a paned glass window, stretching nearly the entire length of the nook and standing from the floor to where would be the ceiling if the room weren't the height of two floors. In front of you, there is both an archway to the left, and to the right. Taking the one to the left will lead you to the dining area, while taking the one to the right will take you to the living area. In front of your stands a well carved stone platform staircase on both sides of the room, looping around to come together at the floor of the second story, which you can hardly see from down here. Several other windows are positioned at the front of the room for a view of the outside.
LIVING AREA
Taking the doorway to the right of the foyer will lead you to this area. This is the classic living room. It has plenty of couches and seats that, for the most part, are in well shape. A dusty red and gold carpet sits on top of the dark wooden floors to give it some kind of gentle feel. There's even a fireplace on the left side of the room, however that's usually left unlit except during the winter seasons and the cold days. More windows give you a view of the outside from the two available walls. A few wooden end tables sit at the edges of the two sofas, including a wooden coffee table in front of them. Unfortunately, other than the table lamps, these seem to be scattered in various notes and books for who knows what. On the opposite wall stands a simple wooden door that leads into the study room.
STUDY
Taking the door from the living area will lead you into this room, the study. It's a rather crowded room unfortunately. There's a desk on one side with a few candles and a table lamp for light, but the desk itself is covered in various papers. A few bookshelves line the walls, which are covered in books of all kinds. It's a crowded room, messy with notes and books laying all over, with a few chairs which don't look very comfortable, and a tattered rug that you can vaguely see underneath all the mess. There are two windows in this room, one that looks out into the yard, and another that looks out into what... should probably be a courtyard. A single door leads out into the only hallway on the first floor, something you need to take if you wish to enter that courtyard.

DINING/NOOK
Taking the door to the left of the foyer leads you into this little area. It doubles as both a dining room, and a little nook near the windows for a view of the front lawn and whatever else lays across from it. There are more comfortable looking chairs in the nook, whereas there's a dining table with six hard wooden chairs encircling it. At least this area seems to be in mostly fine condition, and tidier than some of the rooms. The floor is wooden as well, with rugs tossed haphazardly all around to keep the floors at least a little bit warm. There's a chandelier above the table at least to give it that little bit of fanciness. There's no doors or walls between these areas and the kitchen area. Further down there's another archway that leads to the only hallway on this floor.
KITCHEN/PANTRY
A simple kitchen area is attached to the dining area. The counters loop around to create its own form of "wall" or barrier to clearly show the two are separated, well as if you wouldn't be able to tell by the sudden stone floor, right? A stove sits against the wall between the counters, and a small area to the right of that appears to be a closet. This however, is actually just the pantry, where various foods are stacked on top of shelves, crammed into the small area so that everything fits. A few things seem to have fallen off during this cramming process and sit lonely on the ground. Under the counters are drawers for a bit of extra storage, where mostly the pots and pans are stowed away. The same archway as appears in the dining area leads to the only hallway on this floor.
HALLWAY
This hallway is made of dark wood, covered in a few dusty rugs. A single chandelier on both ends lights it up as well as a few floor lamps to be extra cautious. A few pieces of art line the walls so they aren't quite so plain. There are several doors in this area, as well as windows that overlook the courtyard. There's a simple wooden door on both ends of the hall. On the far left of the hallway, close to the archway that leads to the kitchen and dining area, the door will lead to a small bathroom. On the far right of the hallway, you can take the door to enter the study. There's a set of wooden double doors on the back wall that exits into the courtyard.
SMALL BATHROOM
Taking the door on the left of the hallways allows you access to this small little bathroom. It's very simple, and not very extravagant, mostly meant for quick relief or cleansing. The floor is hard wood, and there's a single window. There's a wall light near the door as well. A simple wooden tub sits on one end of the small room, as well as a few chamber pots, and a single wooden bench in case you need to sit down.

COURTYARD
Taking the double doors in the hallway leads out into this unfinished courtyard. There seems to be more space than actual courtyard, but half of it is overgrown and unfinished. The ground is covered in grass and a few gravel pathways. A few flowers, mostly yellow and purple, bring a bit of color to the otherwise bleak area. A few benches surround the edges for one to sit in case they wish to relax and enjoy the weather. Surrounding the courtyard are what would normally be considered hallways of their own, however, the inner side of these walls, the one that connects to the courtyard itself, is lined with archways all around. This is a small roofed area that one can quickly go under in case they wish to get out of the sun or rain.

SECOND FLOOR
Reaching this area from the staircases in the foyer, you would instantly realize that this area is... well... less than well taken care of. This is the floor where the majority of the rooms are used for storage space. There's one or two bedrooms on this floor as well from the looks of it, but other than that, there appears to be not much to catch your eye. To the left of this platform area, you see a staircase that will lead up onto the third floor, as well as a set of wall length windows in front of you that shows a view of a balcony that overlooks the courtyard. You can access this balcony from the glass double doors in front of you, or from the set of doors in both rooms on both sides of this floor, one of which you are forbidden from entering with Seira's permission.
SEIRA'S BEDROOM
On the right side of the second floor stands a master bedroom. This room is claimed by Seira herself, and she tends to forbid anyone from entering without her permission. A difficult lock rests on the door, which if you're really willing to risk her wrath and enter anyway, feel free to try it. The room itself is a rather fancy room, beautifully maintained and exquisite. It contains a walk-in closet of its own, filled with Seira's many clothes. A bed sits in the room on a finely crafted frame, the image of a siren carved within the headboard. Dark blue wool sheets cover the mattress itself. Two bureaus sit in various sections of the room, with even more clothes within. In one corner there's a small desk, several books piled neatly to the side, and a pair of upholstered benches for sitting. A small bathroom is attached. One can access the balcony from her room as well.

A very simple bedroom, it simply has a small bed with a patchwork cover thrown over top and a table with a lamp. At least there's an end table beside the bed for you to set something on, and it has a doorway to the balcony too if you get bored. Oh, and two sets of drawers for you to store stuff in.

CHAKRA LAB
Probably where the residents spend most of their time while not in the study or library. This room seems to be the best appearance-wise of all of them, definitely well taken care of. It sits close to the Guest Bedroom on this floor, and takes up a decent amount of space. The floor is made of white tiles so they can be easily cleaned. The stone walls are coated in blackboards, most of them covered in some kind of notes most people probably wouldn't understand. But not all of them are covered at least. There are four basins in this room, each having a barrel of water over top of it and a tap to allow access quickly. In case someone accidentally catches fire, there's also an emergency barrel! All in all, this room is probably the best looking one in the entire manor.
Chakra Laboratory, Fancy
Rank: "A"

Four basins are in the place, each of which has a barrel of water suspended over it, complete with a tap to permit easy access. An emergency barrel mounted on a hinged platform can be tilted to pour water over a person in case of an emergency. A single user using this laboratory and having its resources all to himself receives a +20 circumstance bonus on Jutsu Lore Skill checks. Alternatively, up to 4 users can share this space at the same time and gain a +10 circumstance bonus on such checks.

BALCONY
There's not much to say about the balcony, except that it overlooks the courtyard below it. There's a simple stone railing around the entire thing so that you don't accidentally walk over the edge while sleepy either, since two of the three access doors are from a bedroom. You can exit from here into the guest bedroom or Seira's bedroom, though it's recommended you exit from here into the hallway to prevent unwanted attention, just a friendly tip.
THIRD FLOOR
The final floor of the manor if you don't count the tower above. Right beside the staircase you came up from the second floor will be another one that least into the single room tower up above. Other than that, this floor has the most empty rooms, which are currently being used as storage spaces. You're unsure if any of these are actually intended to be real storage spaces. There's a few rooms you do recognize, albeit unfinished, lining the hallway.
TAKEO'S BEDROOM
A bit further down the hall to the right is a locked door. You're not quite sure what's behind this door, but you do know that it's apparently the owner, Takeo's, bedroom. From the tales you might hear from Seira, you're probably better off not entering this room. There doesn't sound like there's anything interesting or of importance in here, actually, they're all probably kept in the library or the study if that's what you're looking for, because that's where he spends the most of his time.
GUEST BEDROOM #2
On the far right of the third floor there are two guest bedrooms. This is the first of them, the one closer to the front of the house. A small basic room, with a small bed with a patchwork quilt tossed over the mattress, and a single chest of drawers. There's a mirror one one side of the room for your usage, and a hard bench with a table. A small bathroom sits across from this room.

If you take the first door to the right of the staircases, you'll come across this room. Half of it's unfinished, hinting at possibly a future expansion. The floors are made of wood, with a few more rugs tossed about. There's windows to the back of this room, filtering in sunlight during the day, and a floor and table lamps sitting about if the half-broken chandelier above you doesn't do the trick. Wooden shelves line the walls with various books fitted upon them, and a lectern sits on the far side of the room in case you want to stand and read. If you don't however, there are a few small tables with wooden chairs, or a few armchairs if you want to relax and read.

STORAGE AREA #1
Taking up quite a bit of space on the third floor is one of the storage areas. It holds a vast amount of space for nearly 6,000 cubic feet of storage space. The floor is completely finished, a nice polished hardwood, and shelves of all kinds line the place. It allows for plenty of space here to store things of all kinds. However, this area is not easily noticeable by those who do not inhabit the manor. The only entrance into this room is a secret door, which has a masterful tiny combination lock attached. The secret door itself is hidden behind a bookcase -- otherwise it wouldn't be very secret, would it?

TOWER
Coming up the staircase, you enter this area. There isn't really much to see here. It was obviously not intended to be anything of major importance. It does however offer a clear 360 degree view of the grounds and village that surrounds the manor at least, if you're into those kinds of things. There's plenty of windows for that. However, unless you bring a candle, don't expect to be able to see in the dark up here at night.[/div]
