Advent Calender 2014
Day 25
Merry Christmas!
Greetings Everyone and welcome to the 2014 Advent Calender. Today is December 25th, which means Day 25 of the Advent Calender. And you know what that means.... IT'S CHRISTMAS! This also marks the official end of the 2014 Advent Calender! Thank you all so much for your lovely participation. All sorts of days and events going through and it just brought tears to my eyes from time to time as I saw the way people participated, laughed, enjoyed themselves, and all sorts of fun and exciting stuff.
I learned so much about you all and got so much joy from giving away all of the fun and exciting prizes as well as coming up with challenges for you all. Some were repeated more than I had wanted but it's tough coming up with ideas for something this large. It also doesn't help that I only thought of the idea about... Halfway through November, so I didn't have much time to plan. But as far as I'm concerned... Things went through pretty well.
SO! Before I go to the prizes and everything, I want to state two quick things.
1) NONE OF THE PRIZES ARE BEING CLAIMED IN THIS THREAD! ALL PRIZES ARE BEING CLAIMED TO Gift Giver!
2) This thread will remain open for people to list their thoughts, talk more about what they liked the most, wish others a Happy Holidays, or really whatever you want so long as you don't break the rules.
Now then.... I want to list a few statistics. Things to just make you go... "Wow" as it did the same to me.
[/li][li]Day 1 was the most popular day the entire way across at 25 total participants for that day.
[/li][li]A total of 38 People participated in at least one event, with 39 people participating in the events and voting combined. [/li][li]The First Person to post in an event was Draven. The First person to post in the Main thread when it was announced was Setsy. The last person to post in the events was Y. Just some fun facts there.
[/li][li]The most successful voting day was Day 2 with the Candy canes.[/li][li]There was a total of 56 Voting posts made across the 6 days that had voting. For every two events voted in, those people have received an extra ticket into the drawing.
[/li][li]Of all of the participants, there were only TWELVE People who completed all of the events. You'll see those names later on.
[/li][li]After that, there were FOUR additional people who only missed one or two days. These people will also be receiving a special prize for having completed MOST of the events. (A little surprise from me to you)[/li][li]There were only FOUR people who participated in all events AND voted at all voting times. Nothing extra received for this, but those four are Draven, Ryosuke, Zarak, and Oron.
[/li][li]And finally... There are a total of 481 Event Drawing tickets and 23 Voting Drawing tickets, for a Grand total of 504 Drawing Tickets for the Five Grand Prize Packages!
[/li][/ul]
So there you have it! Some statistics on the 2014 Advent Calender! So then... What does that mean? That means it's finally time to dole out some lovely prizes. There are Five different prize categories here, so please read through each one very carefully.

THE FIRST PRIZE
SITE WIDE PRIZE!
SITE WIDE PRIZE!
That's right! There is a prize given out to the ENTIRE site. What is this prize you might ask? Well... This specific prize is... 4 Mission Credits! These mission credits are all C ranked Mission credits. But why are we giving this? The Chuunin Exams are upon us! We want these exams to be huge this year, and this helps out with one of the requirements. But they also help for those who are already Chuunin or even Jounin. So everyone can benefit from them. This goes to EVERY account on site made before the time this thread is posted. So if you had an account on here prior to this, then you receive 4 C ranked Mission credits as token of our appreciation on site.
For everyone who completed at least one event (Including anyone listed in the prizes below), you also receive a prize. As stated above, there were 38 people who completed at least one event. The list for this event is as follows.
Draven, Fujitora Hanzo/Azujinko Hanzo, Father 'Suke, Rokudaime Mamimi, @kaius, Molokai, Seira Kimura, Tora Tsume, Nira, Katsu Kasuta, zarak729, |Ayame Unbound|, Oron Kazeraikou, Ikki Ko, xenosheedin, ~Emi~, acids, @yukihyou, Y, Solus, Beltran, Captain M, Penitence, Raika Tatsu, The Doctor, N A T S U M I, @blackspire, Yoshi [Lynx!], KoKoKo, Promeleon, Thunder Over the Falls, Zetsumei, @lumenlatonesh, roko, Nekomata Minh, ❥ cannibble, sol, // One
The listed people above have each received 100,000 Ryo for completing at least one event! Congratulations and thank you so much for participating in this! All Prizes such as this are to be claimed VIA PM! Please PM your claiming to Gift Giver so I can properly add the Ryo to the right account.
I appreciate everyone for giving it their all, and there were some that did so well at completing most of the events but only missed about one or two days in the event. As such, I don't want to them to miss out after trying so hard to make everything worth their while. The following four people only missed one or two events.
Nira, Y, @yukihyou, The Doctor
For doing your best at trying to complete all events and just falling short either for family reasons or a misunderstanding or whatever the case may be, you'll be receiving your own special prize package. This package includes.... 250,000 Ryo, 50,000 Ryo Primary/Secondary Weapon Allowance, 50,000 Ryo Gadget Allowance, 50,000 Ryo Component Allowance, 5,000 Ryo Apparel Allowance, 2 Maps, Good Quality, 3 Re-roll/Training Room vouchers, 3 Travel Passes, 2 Skill Books (Not Special, Both can be substituted for 1 special skill book), and 1 Scrap OR 1 Event Credit.
These prizes are to be claimed VIA PM! Please PM your claiming to Gift Giver. If you have any questions regarding the prizes themselves, also ask via PM. Claiming in the thread does not count and the Ryo will not be added in that case. You also get to claim the Site Wide Prize for all accounts and the One Event Done prize. Feel free to claim your 100,000 Ryo in the same PM as your other prizes.
The following people went above and beyond, being sure to log in every day and spend some time on each and every single one of these events. For that, I deeply thank you (And quite frankly... I'm surprised there are so many!) The following twelve people completed every event.
Draven, Father 'Suke, @kaius, Seira Kimura, Tora Tsume, zarak729, |Ayame Unbound|, Oron Kazeraikou, xenosheedin, ~Emi~, acids, Solus
For completing all of the events in the 2014 Advent Calender, 500,000 Ryo, 100,000 Ryo Primary/Secondary Weapon Allowance, 100,000 Ryo Gadget Allowance, 100,000 Ryo Component Allowance, 10,000 Ryo Apparel Allowance, 4 Maps, Good Quality, 6 Re-roll/Training Room vouchers, 6 Travel Passes, 4 Skill Books (Not Special. 2 Skill books can be substituted for 1 special Skill book), 1 Scrap, and 1 Event Credit.
Now comes the most fun and exciting part in my opinion. All month long, I've talked about receiving entries into the drawing for five Grand Prize packages. These packages are meant to be the best prize here, and I hope that I can deliver that to you! As stated in the statistics at the beginning of this thread, there are a total of 504 Tickets into this drawing. The odds aren't fully there, but I will say that five people will get lucky with this. The one rule to this is that I will not give the same person two or more packages. If the number falls upon your name twice, then it will be re-rolled. And so, without further ado... The five people who receive the Grand Prize Packages are...
Number 412 - Raika Tatsu
Number 378 - Solus
Number 175 - zarak729
Number 224 - Oron Kazeraikou
Number 490 - @lumenlatonesh
So what is this spectacular prize package? Well... While it doesn't seem like much at first glance, it's The Fourth Prize again. How is this so spectactular? Two of the five receiving it didn't complete all or even most of the events, but are getting the prize for completing all 24. And the other three DID complete all 24 events, and thus get double that amount. The Ryo amount alone is One Million Ryo, not to mention the allowances given and all the other extras. All that combined with the fact that these people were chosen out of 504 different entries and receiving this prize purely on luck makes this a spectacular grand prize.
And for those who received the All 24 Done prize, you may claim everything in one PM.
This is the final note for this event that I have to give to you. Once more, I have to thank each and every single one of you for making all of this possible. Without your help, this event wouldn't have been able to go on. This was the largest event that I have ever done and probably the most prizes ever given out before. Those two things combined make me say that this likely will not be returning. But I can say with absolute certainty that some of these events will return at a later date for more smaller contests. Designing contests, similar events to the Snowball fight, Wreath event, Lumps of Coal event, etc. They will be returning. So keep an eye out for them. I'd also like to give special thanks to the following people.
Father 'Suke - You have been my go-to guy throughout this. Any time I needed some extra ideas or help in finalizing something, you were there for me. I was glad that I was able to get help from you in a way that didn't give you any kind of unfair advantage.
Draven - Without your help, this event likely wouldn't have continued. You gave ideas for a few of the events that took place, and so I thank you for helping me come up with ideas.
All Staff - Thank you for helping come up with a list of prizes that could be given out through this. Without your guidance and ideas, I couldn't have given out the interesting prizes that I did. I also thank you for listening to my PM and allowing me to handle all payments of Ryo and other such claiming.
|Ayame Unbound| and Zetsumei - Some of these events involved the Thanksgiving thread rolls, and without you two coming up with the ideas, I wouldn't have had such a great list to go to for when I needed a list of items.
EVERYONE Who participated - I received so many good PMs and messages in the Cbox stating how happy people were to have this event going on. Your continued support gave me the strength to push through the hardest of times with this event and I deeply appreciate it.
👺 Usiel - Finally, Heero... I have to give large thanks to you. You allowed such a great event to take place. Allowed for all of these massive amounts of prizes to go through. Gave the okay on the prizes that staff came up with. And I was mostly glad that you had the chance to participate in this event yourself, missing only one day throughout (Aside from Day 3 because you could see what was edited). Thank you so much for sticking by me and offering great support throughout the entire event.
Lastly, I need to state a couple of things. It's going to take me a bit to go through each and every thread to see what was claimed and what was not. I'll be trying to keep an eye out as time goes on, but the sooner you claim the prizes in the respective threads, the better. If you're waiting on Ryo for a prize in a thread and I haven't gotten to it, PM Tieren as a reminder to get around to doing it. The same goes for the prizes in this event. If it takes some time to get around to giving you your prizes, PM Tieren and we can get this taken care of as quickly as possible.
The final thing I need to state...
Hopefully that's bit enough for all to see. With one last thank you to all for your continued participation, support, feedback, and excitement, I say...
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Night
Sincerely,
-The Gift Giver
