Seeking out the first Jewel-Suna

Description: This mission is for all those participating in the Shinobi Elite Tournament Event in Kawa no Kuni who are from Sunagakure no Sato. The mission is as follows: A team of three Gennin will be asked to find a jewel of Sand. This jewel is an Emerald that is hidden in the forest area just beyond the gates of Suna, in the Wind Country. This jewel is hidden within a wooden box and the box has a star labeled on it. You must bring the box containing the emerald back to Kazekage in order to receive a map and your reward to proceed in the tournament. There is more than one emerald so numerous teams of three will be able to attempt this mission. But please be aware that the hiding place of each jewel is different so don’t expect to find more than one jewel at one specific area.
Objective: Find the emerald and return to Kazekage.
Requirements: Must be participating in the Shinobi Elite Tournament
Reward: 1,500 Ryo

Weeze and the other to Genin were walking through the desert. Weeze held the scroll reading it over again. He turn to the others and asked "You guys ever heard of this tournament before?" He handed the scroll to Izai to look at as he was the only one so far who hadn't read it over.

He figured this would be agood chance to prove his worth, but he doubted it would come to that. The other two might just beat him to it.

[Koori.]

Koori walked through the desert with weeze as they pressed on towards the forest to find this so called jewel. "Nope, I never heard of this tournament before. I got no idea what its all about ether." said Koori walking along with weeze.

Koori waited for the other responses as he continued to walk off into the distance with weeze.

Izai would nod, "yes, i've heard of the tournament, be on your game.." said Izai as he was locating the map where the forest would be in the sand village. They would come upon it fairly easy, for it was only a mile away from their starting point. Izai then brought out a key log, and he would begin writing what he found, and his discoveries, as well as things that seemed out of place.

"Could you tell us about it Izai as we walk?" Weeze asked intrigued that at lease one of them knew what it was. He wondered how many people were going. How could they were. And even why the Kage had picked them. Thy were a new team. They had only been together for several days. And Weeze had only met Koori a week or so earlier before the team had been form. He made a mental note ask the Kage about it. See if he had any real reason. Or if he just thought it would be something they would enjoy.

There walked had not lasted that long. Soon they had walked up to the Edge of the forest. It was strange to see a forest here. In the middle of the desert. Weeze looked down at his puppy who seem to be alert and apprehensive about something. "What is it girl?" he whispered to her. But she paid him no mind and keep looking around.

"Judging by the way she is acting, i think there is more to this mission then just finding a missing box." Weeze said indicating his dog. "I think she can smell something, or someone near by." He spoke pointing out the obvious.

[Koori.]

Koori and his team had walked through out the desert making small talk along the way. It would not have taken long to reach thier destination since the forest was only a mile away from Sand. As they entered the forest, Koori took a mental note of what weeze said, as he and libby pointed out the obvious. Koori wondered what exactly they should be looking for hidden within the forest.

"So.....whats this box look like?" said Koori as they made thier way a bit deeper into the forest. He wanted to know what he should keep and eye out for, or better yet, what his creations should kee[ an eye out for. Quickly, grabbing his notebook, Koori drew 20 Beautiful unique mouses upon his canvas and gave them life shortly there after. The mice would scatter off into the distance and search the immediate area and report thier findings back to Koori.

Should anything suspicious happen or be found, Koori would know about it..........

Just be aware of your surroundings, this is not a normal D ranked mission, so I would advise you to just shutup and be aware of what's going on, don't have your head up your ass..." said Izai, grunting as he would begin to write. Peering to his left he would see Koori, drawing mice, small black dots would begin scattering across the forest. Izai would look at the sky before he would enter, "Sun's about to go down.." said Izai as he put his book in his back pocket and pulled out a cigarette. He lit it as he went in, looking around his surroundings as his eyes scanned the area, but he looked un-concerned. "Well, i'm going to tell you now, If a jewel was placed into a crate, then it would have to be brought here by someone.." said Izai bending down scanning the sand into the forest. "A male's tracks, he is pretty far into the forest.." said Izai as he stood back up taking another puff. Izai would let the sand crawl up his leg, giving him a sand armor, "I do have a feeling we will be fighting soon, how about you look for clues for a bit.." said Izai walking a little bit ahead, Izai knew exactly what was going on, not telling his other comrades would keep them safer, he did have to make safe. As he stepped further into the forest he looked at some more sand before him, it looked too big to step in. Izai would throw his cigarette into the sand pit and it would slowly devour it, quick sand was the reason. "Hmph.." said Izai as it did not phase him. Picking up huge amounts of sand he would mold chakra into it, making them into solid rock, he would then throw them around the sand pit, as he began to accumulate a lot, he finally called it off. He gave a couple of handseals, the rocks turned into mud and began seeping into the quicksand. Izai was right, it would help, the mud would act as a cork for the funnel, as it did so the sand was now covered in mud. Izai would step a little onto the mud, but not a lot. Another series of handseals crept threw his hands, a mud pillar shot him into the air and let him land upon the other side. "It wouldn't be here if something wasn't hiding.." said Izai slowly turning around looking at Weeze and Koori. "Do you all want me to launch you over here or do you have it?" said Izai preparing for more handseals as a blank stare crept across his face, the sand would warn him an intruder was near.

Weeze watched Izai work out of pure interest. He had forgotten he was suppose to b looking around for clues. But when Izai asked if he wanted to launch them over, Weeze smiled. "He looked down at his dog, who he had yet to take out of his bag and smiled. "Sure what the hell. Sounds like fun if you ask me." he said with a slight smirk.

"I'm ready when you are."

Not entirely just say that you decided not to finish and stuff, and then we can do another mission for you if you want one.

Alright, When Koori comes back on, i will try to get him to say we decided to quit the mission. Then if josh saw my Pm i sent, him maybe he will do the same.
