I chuckled to the nickname I was given, shadowmancer. It was fitting but it wasn't his only option. "I guess I should give out my name, it is Ra-"I gasped slightly as the woman forcefully took out the embedded arrows. But the blood was seeped up by a part of her dress. I inhaled a deep breathe then I exhaled, closing my eyes to ward off the minor pain. "As I was saying, My name is Rael(Rah-el)." It was such a simplistic gesture that made me feel a bit apprehensive and a bit awkward. Most people tolerated my hospitality and usually wanted my being gone as soon as they met me. It was the queer feeling.
Being picked up was just as astonishing. But I stayed silent to the small trip to the tent and my ears perked at the mention of her knowledge of mother nature. "You do know I would have been fine to walk about myself." Trying to keep the conversation going I tried to inquire if there were any attributes of animals or plants that would help me along. I wanted to ask her about what powers nature would bring upon but she left soon after back into the forest.
I sighed at such a dismissal. I allowed a dirtied hand to sweep my ebony strands of hair. A frown was stern on my lips. Another sigh escaped before I lowered my hand and focused my chakra into both my palms. I knew it would take longer to heal my wounds myself, but I would have to make due. I allowed my hands to grace upon the wound in my shoulder. The minute amount of pain that was present slowly faded away and the cut slowly stitched back together. All that was left was a smaller cut that was brightly red, but not bleeding. I did the same to both my fore arms, but like my shoulder, the deep gashes only turned to minor cuts.
Onto my legs, it was much easier. The bite marks seemed to heal a lot faster and more completely than the arrow punctures. A small victory I suppose. I sat up right in the bed roll and allowed my gaze to trail off, glazing over a bit in deep thought.
'I could have easily killed her but it was different. MY sadistic urge was thick and prominent. I never have experienced such thrilling experience. I was so close...so close to taking my first kill.' Now I knew I have not killed anyone, but the glee that I got from the fear they felt under my illusions was the most I have experienced. I almost allowed my self to slip and let the instinct to take control. My knuckles turned white as I absent minded clenched them on the side of the bedding.
'I could have died today...What will my quest bring me too?'
