Getting To Know You [Private]

Seira had finally made it to Haha Island, to the capital city of Okhotsk. She had signed up for the Chuunin Exams and had every intent of relaxing after rushing to the island. Besides, she kind of wanted to get to know this city a little better, since would be spending her time on this island for a while, assuming the Exams would actually take place on this island. Either way, she believed she deserved at least a little bit of relaxation, and so she had left the park where the sign ups for the exam were taking place since everyone else was busy with each other and she didn't recognize anyone there. Not that she wouldn't mind getting to know anyone, she might go back later just to talk for a while, but she left the park anyway.

She still wore all of her mission gear, as she didn't know when the exam would start, and if the intercoms the examiner had spoken of told her to go to a place that the exam would start immediately at, she wanted to be ready. Inside of her tactical vest seven slots of kunai, her upgraded binoculars, three 4-inch flashlights and nine blood clot pills, nothing she believed she wouldn't need until the exam. She still wore both of her knife harnesses, however she had placed them under her blouse, which was why it wasn't something really tight, so they weren't quite as noticeable unless you stared really hard. One knife harness held five slots of normal knives, and the other held her modified kunai.

Of course she still wore both senbon bracelets, each with their own full slot of senbon, however she had their outside wrapped up with thin black cloth, something that would make them look a bit more appealing and not so unstylish. She still had her butt bag on her back hip as well, which contained various tags, marbles and caltrops; including her utility belt around her waist with one slot of covert listening devices, three wireless radios, a box of matches, two slots of flint, and four multi-tools. She had her extra large field pack slung over one shoulder since it still didn't contain much, and most certainly nothing overly heavy. The backpack held ten glowsticks, an electronic and prismatic compass, one holodisk, one motion sensor, one handheld inspection tool, one disruptor with its sonic detonator, one tracking device with twelve tracers, and an extra e and b type gas mask filter.

And that completed the equipment that she had brought with her. She just wanted to find somewhere nice and relaxing, so that's what she did. She scoured the city, taking in the sights and memorizing the layout before locating somewhere she liked. Somewhere that wouldn't be really crowded, if at all, where she could just sit back, kick up her feet, and relax. It was just a little isolated place not too far from the park, actually. It had its own enclosure of trees that she just happily took a seat under. If someone needed to find her it probably wouldn't have been too hard, so she sat her backpack down at her side, leaned against one of the tree trunks, and closed her eyes for the time being.

Tora had already marked that spot the minute he came to the village. Since he arrived earlier than most other contestants, he had the time to explore and found that place silent, relaxing and a great place to get away from people. He in fact hoped no one would talk to him, after all, soon enough they'd be competing in the exams and he really didn't want any grudges to be formed just because they had to be friendly to one another during the meetup. It's also why he left the registration as soon as it was over and headed out to that sacred place.

He was wearing his black cloak over his body. The hood was up, covering his face and his cold blue eyes. Inside he had all of his knives, each in a holster, bound to his body. In the cloak he had his flashlights, his cauterizer and some of the gadgets he decided to stock up on, such as the gas mask and the goggles. On his wrists, much like Seira he had the senbon bracelets, though his weren't covered by anything. Stylish wasn't his sort of thing after all. Other than that, the Genin was pretty much lacking on equipment.

Approaching the area he noticed Seira right there, which called out for a sigh. He walked up to her, trying to figure out how to scare her away and get some peace for himself. He did recognize her from the registration, so she was probably another shinobi. "I was hoping for some peace. Would you mind if I take the location next to you? Just...Don't talk." He said calmly, hoping this would be the end of it and he wouldn't have to suffer any of her girly talk. "If you want, there's a sale on some bullshit in town, you can enjoy your feminine outbursts there." He added as he slumed down onto the tree next to her, shutting his eyes.

Seira was enjoying her own little peace and quiet as she relaxed where she was. No bothersome noises or people, just nice and relaxing silence. Of course, this wouldn't last long, apparently. She had her eyes closed and was lost in her own thoughts when a few minutes later she heard a voice. Her eyes slowly peeked open some, holding back a small sigh, to glance at this rather interesting male approaching her. She couldn't help but stare at his voice in clothes, with that long black cloak, but a displeased frown came across her face as he spoke.

Well wasn't he just chipper?

Of course she didn't mind him sitting beside her, though he took the liberty of doing so anyway without her answering. So obviously he didn't care about what she had to say on the matter, right? And sure, maybe the thought of cheap foreign clothes excited her. She did like feminine clothes that fit her body well and all of that, and who knew what kind of clothing they might have. But she wasn't about to just go spend her money on that kind of stuff when she was here for the Chuunin's. If she spent it, it would be on weapons and the like. Besides, she couldn't put much belief in what he said. It was probably just a ploy to get her to go away, she hadn't seen any sales, but she hadn't wandered across the entire town either.

"I see I don't need to answer that question." she huffed a bit, giving him another glance over before closing her own eyes once more and just going back to her relaxing position. "You sure you're not the one who would rather go shopping? You seem to like less-than-normal clothes." Not that it bothered her any. Fine, if wanted silence, she would give him silence. For now at least. It wasn't like she ranted on about girl things.

Oh no, if she were going to rant it would be about something completely different. Probably about how amazing Ice or Water or Wood Ninjutsu was. She loved ninjutsu and people usually got really annoyed at her when she ranted. But she also usually only ranted about things when she got nervous and couldn't think of what to say so it just all came out in one possibly incoherent rush. And people usually told her off whenever she did it, because well, usually they didn't really care. Not many people did when she went on and on and on about it. Yet she loved Ninjutsu. She was mastered in Wood and Ice. She intended to master more too. Like probably Water. Definitely Water. Ooooh, or maybe she'd rant about Genjutsu. Genjutsu was fun. She loved all the different perceptions and was almost mastered in Enchantment. That would be nice. All the different possibilities, all the different illusions. She didn't know enough Genjutsu. She'd have to get on that. THAT would be what she would rant about. Er, well, already did in her head at least.

It was rather amusing to find someone who would actually talk back to him rather than just surrender, find him obnoxious and leave. A real change of pace and a lovely refreshing air. Tora chuckled as he laid against the tree. "I like you." He said with a smile as he tilted his head to look at her, maybe see who he's actually dealing with. Initially he believed she was just another random villager but her face did seem familliar to him in some way. Could it be that he has seen her before?

"You look familliar. Have I enchanted you before?" He asked, with real honesty to his voice. He had been working on his Genjutsu for so long he had forgotten all the people he randomally cast it on while training, whether it was in Kiri, out in some other random village or just one of the random times he wanted to entertain himself. Well, whatever it was, he would get his answer soon, hopefully.
