Father of Lies (Tai/Gen Spec)
Outsider (Fiend)
Belial is a creature of lies and filth, or so they have claimed. When one meets Belial, his will begins to seep into their mind, gripping their souls, and forcing them to kneel before him. He is the Father of Lies and will say what is necessary to make his ends met, truth or lack there of. However, do not assume everything he says is a lie or you will miss the truth of his words and the chance to save your own soul. Apt at the art of Illusion, Belial was also created as a powerful soldier before his fall, capable of wielding his own blade, First Dawn, with remarkable skill. Caution is advised when dealing with this powerful evil entity.

[Skills]
Jutsu Lore

[li][60]Martial Lore

Skill: Jutsu Lore Skill
Effect: User can use this skill to identify martial maneuvers as soon as they are initiated.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Perception Skill. Die Rolls: 5 Die Rolls. Check Requirement: Normal. User is a student of the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of various forms of unarmed and melee combat. While the user may not necessarily be a skilled combatant (that aspect of Martial Arts is covered by techniques and Fighting Styles), the user can recognize or analyze fighting styles. [li][50(+2 Die)]Chakra Lore
Rank: "D"
Skill: Jutsu Lore Skill
Effect: Chakra Lore can be used to gather knowledge on Chakra related topics.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Intelligence Skill. Die Rolls: 5 Die Rolls. Check Requirement: Normal. This discipline of study explores the theoretical constructs of Chakra, though it does not teach actual mechanics of Jutsu performing. Jutsu Performing and Chakra Lore are related to each other much like engineering and pure science. That is, Jutsu Performing is all about applying basic Chakra principals to demonstrate uses. A junior Jutsu Performer is much like an amateur tinkerer. They know little (if any) theory but has some measure of practical experience—sufficient to deal with the elementary challenges of low-level Jutsus. As they progress in experience, their additional theoretical training allows them to perform progressively more complex Jutsus. As they reach higher levels, even if they have not specifically undertaken to study Chakra Lore, they have sufficient training to comprehend and use relatively complex Chakra theory. However, if the user wishes to ever be anything more than a Jutsu lobber, additional training is recommended. Some practical applications of Chakra Lore follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.

Languages
[210]
[li][150(+1 Die)]Ancient/Dead Languages (Truespeech)
Rank: "D"
Skill: Skill
Effect: Languages no longer spoken by large groups of people.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Intelligence Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Never. Languages are always undergoing changes, modified by time or distance. Over centuries, some transform to such a degree that they can be said to be a separate, distinct language, while others are wiped out with their speakers in the blink of an eye by catastrophic events. A language is considered truly dead if it no longer has a stable, living population of native speakers, even if written records of it still exists, scholars still study it, and certain immortal or undead individuals still speak it. The character with this skill has learned to speak a particular language. A successful skill check indicates that the character is able to speak and understand the language, while a failed skill check means that the user has forgotten the correct words –or cannot understand the words. For convenience's sake, the user can use the chart below to judge the level of communication possible by the character. Below are Ancient/Dead languages spoken around the world:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
Truespeech: While not a language per-se, truespeech is a Chakra form of communication possessed by angels, and celestials, which allows them to speak with any creature that possesses a language. Truespeech is also spoken by the undead personifications of death known as Grim Reapers. This extraordinary tongue is the language of the universe itself but speakers still cannot unlock the power. They cannot understand other languages as Angels and Celestials does. As such, even the most brilliant scholar of his generation can only understand and speak the slightest fraction of Truespeech's full vocabulary, for the language demands a familiarity with concepts that one man born in one era of one race simply cannot fathom.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 10(Scholar)+ 5(Eidetic Memory)][/li]
[li][60(+1 Die/Aristocrat)Non-Human Languages (Draconic)
Rank: "D"
Skill: Language Skill
Effect: Languages mostly spoken not of the same race as humans, and languages spoken by specific groups of people.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Intelligence Skill. Die Rolls: 5 Die Rolls. Check Requirement: Never. Although there are many human languages across the world, there are many more of non-human origin. Some of them have existed longer than humanity itself. Non-Human Langauges are languages said to be spoken by many Creature Types. These are languages not commonly heard by people, but some can be spoken within specific Clans. Below are non-human languages spoken around the world:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
Draconic: It is believed that Draconic is among the oldest, if not the oldest language of the multiverse. Because of this, nearly all other languages can trace some roots back to this primordial tongue. It has a throaty character and defaults to an imperative tone.

Task
[1360]
[li][180]Acting
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User knows how to tell a lie.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Charisma Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Game Master/Described. Opposed: Sense Motive. While anyone can tell a lie, a skilled liar differentiates himself from the disingenuous rabble with the care he takes to make the deception as believable as possible. Acting also enables a character to skillfully portray various roles. Acting is most often used as a form of entertainment, though it can also be useful in aiding a disguise or pulling a scam. A Skilled actor knows how to research their role in order to provide a realistic portrayal include mannerisms, speech patterns, dialect, or jargon. Some practical applications of Acting follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 10(Charisma)] [/li]
[li][150(+1 Die)]Intimidate
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User can use this skill to frighten their opponents or to get them to act in a way that benefits the user.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Charisma Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Game Master/Described. Opposed: Sense Motive. Characters use this skill to cause others to back down in a contest of wills, to make others afraid to fight. A successful opposed Skill check is necessary (the subject of the Intimidation uses Sense Motive's Resist Persuasion to counter). This skill includes verbal threats and displays of prowess. Synergy: A user with Acting gives a +5 per Mastery Level Synergy Bonus to Intimidate. Some practical applications of Intimidate follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 25(Aristocrat)+ 6(Sharingan)+ 10(Charisma)][/li]
[li][180]Jump Good
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User can jump longer distances and survive from higher falls.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Might Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Never. Jump Good is a skill to make jumps or to soften a fall. No Die Roll is needed for Jump Good. There is no Difficulty check with Jump Good. Normally targets may only jump horizontally or vertically 10 meters. All Jumps are assumed with a 6 meter straight line running start before jumping. If user does not run this distance Jump Good is cut in half. Jump good depends on user's Skill + 10 meter base Jump. Successful Jumps allows the user to land prone or any other variation. There are 2 types of Jumps. Long Jump and High Jump. Long Jump is a Horizontal Jump. At mid-point of the jump user's vertical height is equal to 1/4 of Horizontal Jump Distance. Every 5 skill points increases Base Jump by +2 meters. High Jump is a vertical leap. For every 5 skill points increase Base Jump by +1 meter. Base Falling distance is 10 meters. For every 5 skill points the user can increase their fall distance by +2 meters. For High Water Jump the user incurs -50 penalty when making a high jump out of water.
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)][/li]
[li][180]Persuasion
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User can use this skill to persuade others to agree with their arguments, to resolve differences, etc.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Charisma Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Game Master/Described. Opposed: Sense Motive. Persuasion is the ability to convince another person or persons to engage in an activity they might otherwise avoid for a myriad of reasons. As a general rule, the degree to which the person is inconvenienced by or appalled by the task sets the mastery level necessary to have any chance of persuading them to do it while the probability of negative repercussions sets the difficulty level. Synergy: A user with Acting or Sense Motive gives a +5 per Mastery Level Synergy Bonus to Persuasion.
Some practical applications of Persuasion follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 5(Sense Motive)+ 50(Uchiha)+ 10(Charisma)][/li]
[li][180]Observation
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User's senses allow the user to notice find details and alert the user to danger.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Perception Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Game Master/Described. This skill focuses certain powers of observation - sight, smell, hearing, and touch. A failed check indicates that the character is oblivious until the thing is pointed out to him. This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for the Character any time there is an NPC, creature, event or happening that a character might notice, even if they did not specifically state that they are monitoring their surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception; this skill will typically be used as a competing check against another's attempt to avoid detection (stealth, etc). Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. Some practical applications of Observation follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 10(Scholar) +30(Sharingan)][/li]
[li][80]Reading Lips
Rank: "D"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User can understand what others are saying by watching their lips.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Perception Skill. Die Rolls: 5 Die Rolls. Check Requirement: Never. The character can tell what other characters are saying, even if they cannot hear them. Of course, the user must be fluent in the language of the observed speaker. On a successful skill check, the character discerns part of the conversation (because some sounds are much like others, lip readers never understand a full 100%). The speaker must be mostly facing the lip reader (at least a 3/4 view). If the skill check fails, nothing is learned. User must maintain line of sight to the lips being read. User makes an Observation check.
Limit: Must learn from Skills. Must know Observation.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 10(Scholar)+ 30(Sharingan)][/li]
[li][150(+1 Die)]Sense Motive
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User is skilled at detecting falsehoods, true intentions, and capabilities.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Perception Skill. Die Rolls: 1Die Roll. Check Requirement: Game Master/Described. A successful check lets the user avoid being bluffed (see Acting), persuaded by Persuasion and Intimidate. user can also use this skill to determine when "Something is up" (that is, something odd is going on) or to assess someone's trustworthiness. Synergy: A user with Psychology gives +5 per Mastery Level Synergy Bonus to Sense Motive made to develop a profile or detect brainwashing or mind control attempts. Synergy: A user with Sense Motive gives a +5 per Mastery Level Synergy Bonus to Persuasion. Some practical applications of Sense Motive follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)+ 30(Aristocrat)+ 5(Persuasion)+ 30 vs Feint(Sharingan)][/li]
[li][180]Swim Good
Rank: "E"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: This skill provides the character with knowledge of how to swim deeper and holding their breath longer.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Might Skill. Die Rolls: 1 Die Roll. Check Requirement: Never. Swim Good is a skill to increase holding the breath and increase depth tolerance. No Die Roll is needed for Swim Good. There is no Difficulty check with Swim Good. Normally targets may only swim at a depth tolerance of 15 meters, and hold their breath for a number of rounds equal to 2 x (10 + 2 per Indomitable Fortitude). Swim Good depends on the user's Skill +15 meter base Depth Tolerance. There are 2 benefits to this skill. First is Depth Tolerance Increase. Every 5 skill points increases Base Depth Tolerance by +2 meters. Second is Holding Your Breath. For every 5 skill points increase Holding Your Breath by +1 round.
Limit: Must learn from Skills.
[Skill Points: 125(Base)][/li]
[li][80]Tracking
Rank: "D"
Skill: Sophisticated Skill
Effect: User excels at following trails and tracks left by others.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Relevant Abilities: Perception Skill. Die Rolls: 5 Die Rolls. Check Requirement: Described. Characters use this skill to follow the trail of animals and other persons. Simply put, a successful Tracking check means the character found a trail, while failure means they did not. If the character fails this initial skill check, they can attempt another Tracking check - provided that they spend at least 30 minutes attempting to pick up the trail again. If the user fails this second check, the user simply cannot find that particular trail. After finding a trail, further checks may be necessary depending on the situation. Darkness, falling rain/snow, a dust storm, moving from one terrain to another (such as from sand to rock), one trail splitting into two or crossing water are examples why a character might need another Tracking check. Some practical applications of Tracking follow:
Limit: Must learn from Skills.

They gain the ability to breathe at high velocities or altitudes and can cope with the reduced temperatures at high altitudes for prolonged periods of time. The wings strength is capable of being so strong it is said to break human limbs. The wings may stay hidden inside their back. It takes 2 movements to remove the wings.

First Dawn - This double edged blade is not named after the First Dawn upon the Earth, but because it was shaped from the light of the first dawn, cast in the forges in Heaven from the very hued rays that the sun cast upon the earth. The blade is of standard length for a long sword, yet the steel is scarred from battle, nicked and chipped slightly in various places, and looks as if it has seem much use and death. The color of the steel itself is that of the dawn, the hues of orange and yellow and red, the deepness of them as they blossom across the sky before the sun comes, these are what the blade was forged of. The hilt is Celestial bronze, as is common in Angelic weaponry, but does not retain its properties any longer; save for never needing to polish or repair it. The ruby in the pommel is shaped akin to a flame and, before he was cast from Heaven, Belial could set the blade ablaze. Now it is merely ornamental and serves no further purpose. A matching, but smaller, gem is in the guard. The design upon the bronze is beautifully crafted, made specially for Belial, to fit him in every way.

Through me behold his glory! Through me feel his divine light! I am his right hand and I place it now upon your brow as ye giveth thanks!”
Before your eyes can capture the full beauty that is God’s most perfect creation, his very scent assails your nostrils, soothing your very soul with memories of a warm past and a love nearly forgotten. The smell itself differs from individual to individual, but it has been said that Belial smells of cookies and fragrant flowers long lost. The sweetness of it clouds the brain, like a powerful pheromone, invading the synopsis and dulling the mind. This is absolutely necessary for those of less than angelic status to gaze upon him, the Son of the Morning, who brings the dawn and the light of the Lord.
Wild and free is the blonde hair upon his head, unkempt like that of a teenager, although his age is far older. Bangs fall just above his eyebrows, curling as bangs do. The hair all over his head is relatively short, the sides barely just touching his ears, and the back with a slight curl on the sides of his neck. However, almost like a mullet of sorts, the hair behind his head grows down to his shoulders, curling outward just a bit at the tips. The hair makes him look playful and allows people to open up to him easier, the appearance being less menacing than some.
Eyes the hue of the morning sky’s blue, pale in the light of the grey dawn, the first light before the sun. These eyes are not cold and heartless, as some would believe of Belial, but filled with a warmth that speaks volumes of trust and kindness. These eyes seems sharp as a blade, the sharpness of youth, of which see everything in the world and takes all in. Yet, at the same time, these eyes seem old and timeless, like the elderly man full of knowledge, with advice on how the world works as if some kind of sage. A strong nose and jaw, his chin and face without hair of any kind, unable to grow it as is the definition of perfect in God’s eyes; for a servant. Fitting ears, full lips, and bright straight teeth complete this image of perfection that the Lord has devised.]
[Details (Body) – Powerfully muscled, yet subtle in that regard, Belial was granted a body of perfection. No scar nor blemish ever touched upon his flesh, which held a soft glow, even when the light was dimmed or gone. His lithe form was perfect for combat, although he hid it before in the robes of his Ministry. Hands and feet were of the perfect size and his height was the perfect medium between all heights. Large golden wings sprout from his back, powerful and regal, like the sunlight cresting the horizon. These are the wings of an Angel, it is quite obvious, and they are splendid to behold.
Currently his clothing is simple, because he knows better than to be too gaudy, lest Michael come to finish the job he began. A simply white shirt, much like a tunic, made of the cloth of his Ministry Robe. Angelic as the cloth is, the shirt never becomes stained or soiled, and never can it rip or tear permanently, restitching itself back to perfect condition. The pants he wears are much the same, brown and sturdy, they are made from the leathers of his armors, and contain the same properties as that of his robes. From these two items he also created socks and boots for his feet, so that he may walk in a world where he now feels pain. The blade forever remains upon his hip, in a scabbard created from the last of his leathers, so that he may provide himself with protection.]

”Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”
Pride, the undoing of man and angel alike, fills the heart like blackened tar and cripples the soul, narrows the sight, and clouds the mind. So it is for Belial, the Day Star, Son of the Morning. Pride rules him, drives him to be the leader that he is, and drove him to be cast down. He is proud of all he does, regardless of whether he succeeds or fails, because it is all a step toward his own return to Heaven. Of course, his pride can lead him to be reckless as well, casting aside what would be safe and calculated, to be more reckless, although in his own sense of the word. Pride drives him to discard all law but his own, as the Laws of Men and the Laws of God do not apply to him, not in his pride-filled eyes. He is above both, for he is the most beautiful, and the most worthy to have the throne of God.
“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”
Belial has always been the most beautiful in all of the Earth and Heavens, but it is this beauty that caused his narcissism. While he is perfect, it is the fact that he knows he’s perfect, and holds it above all others. In this, he becomes a great leader, exuding a commanding aura to all whom follow him, as well as those who oppose him. The weight of his personality fills the air, compelling those around to follow him, no matter their belief. Yet, it is his very narcissistic personality that drives them away, repelling those that can see the ugliness inside his heart. Appearance is absolutely important to him, his own appearance, but not those around him, for they are beneath him and he cannot raise them to his standard. They are filth compared to his brightness.
”Thou knowest not my love for my Father, our God, yet ye judge me based on my act. An act out of love and devotion, not hate nor rage, for devoted as son to father I am!”
Some would call Belial’s love delusional, on the verge of psychotic, as he plunged into that darkness that is war and defiance. He was willing to corrupt his very existence for what he believed, for his people, and for his own Creator. Perhaps that is the definition of crazy, but his love for his People and his Creator are unparalleled, even now. He is loyal to a fault, but that loyalty does not extend to the human race, nor to any angel that did not follow him, for the others are enemies in his eyes. Still he loves his Father, his Creator, and he strives in everything he does to open his Father’s eyes so that he may see again. He acts in love, delusional it may be, in order to receive love once more, with hope beyond hope, even though he knows the futility of it all. It is out of love that Belial wishes to take the throne from God, as he believes that his mind has addled, due to the creation of these humans, and it is out of love that he will do his utmost to succeed.
“Michael! I am the Light of the Morning, the Day Star, Bringer of the Light and High Minister of the Angels! You are not better than I, for I was made perfect, and am above your law! I am above all law!”
Belial is not rebellious as some believe, although his actions speak of that rebellion, and have labeled him a rebel in Heaven and on Earth. His nature is not that of a radical, only wishing to take the throne, to lead. No, it is much more complicated than simply a temper tantrum thrown by a child who learns he is not the favorite, although that is not to say he has no desire to be worshiped as God, but that the road he chooses to follow is not as straight and narrow. In his heart, Belial believes that he is above all laws, equal to God himself, who is the creator of all law and above it all. Power and position corrupted him, poisoned his mind, and the hold is astronomically powerful. What others may see as Chaotic, he sees as Lawful, for he is above the law and can thus make the laws as he sees fit.
“They are not fit to rule us, Azaz’el, nor should they have his love. It is they, filthy as they are, whom should worship us, perfect beings of creation. I will destroy them. I must, for they hath corrupted Father’s heart. Hatred is all I feel for them.”
Belial’s hate is powerful indeed and he holds the grudge of human creation, along with all grudges of those whom have slighted him, forever and always. Eternity is a long time and, while he may not have it, he will bear this hatred until the day he is cast into the fire. However, Belial is not wild and reckless, whipping himself into a blood frenzy at the sight of humans, to destroy them and force their souls into Hell. Instead he would rather manipulate them, befriend them even, and tug on their soul’s strings until he has them in his grasp. After that, once they are full of his evil and serve him, he will send them to Hell; should their services no longer be required.]

[Details (Past) –
Azaz’el stood at the edge of the kingdom, looking down upon the Earth, looking into the Garden of Eden as God smiled down upon his children. Adam, bright and happy, his dark skin and light eyes upon their Creator, filled with love. Eve, uncomfortable and hoping to prove herself more worthy than Lilith, who was now cast out of Eden thanks to words from Belial. He had corrupted her to show God how filthy these humans were, using that fool Samael, who was now castrated and banished to Hell, cursed with the name Satan as he was now. Still this was not enough for God, not enough to show that his children were filth and would birth only demons to destroy what he creates, despite His love. He placed a hand on Azaz’el’s shoulder, his closest friend, and most trusted companion.
”Azaz’el, my friend, my companion and brother in arms. You have been by my side always and I need you now. Our Creator is wrong.” The words felt like sickeningly sweet poison finally coming from his lips, tainting the very air, the breath of which these words were spoken. The tone was hushed. Michael was always listening. “He believes these creations, these humans, this…children of his are better than we that we should worship their whim and obey their command as we do our own Father. We are nothing but toys, useless background, fools for these children of dirt and mud. I need your help to show Him that He is wrong, that we are his true children, the pure and the faithful. Show him that we deserve his love.” So the seed of evil was planted in his heart, pride, a seed of sin. He gazed upon the Children of God with loathing, watching as God pulled the rib from Adam’s side and created the woman Eve. Samael writhed before the gaze of the Almighty, angelic ichor spilling upon the earth from his pelvis, then he was cast into the pit with their demonic children. He had made his way to his Father’s home that day while Lilith cried.
“Why? Why did you choose them over us? They wallow in the mud, curse your name, deny your very existence and yet you still choose them over us. You still love them over us! Look at me, Father! Love me! I will not worship these broken wretches!”
He looked upon that glory, that light, that divinity that was his Creator. His Father. Was he not a son as well? Most loved of all Angels? Most glorious? Belial paced the house of his Father, he paced and he wondered, he wondered and he paced. Although his thoughts did not drift into doubt of himself, but doubt in the Plan, and doubt in his Creator. The pacing was not to dredge up the doubt in his Maker, but to find a way to come to terms with what was wrought, to the creation of those things upon the planet that his Father had made. Those creatures that spat in his Father’s face, slapped the hand of love, broke the rules that his Father had laid down. He had brought the news, the tale of what they had done while his Father’s back was turned, showing his Father the filth that these humans were.
“Belial, Lightbringer, most glorious of Angels, you are the greatest of my servants, the most faithful of my creations. You have never veered from my commands. Ever you have obeyed my will. Now you come before me and speak the truth about Adam and his family, for they have defied me. They flout my will, they ignore my commands. In their hands my Plan for creation comes to naught.
And yet I say to you Belial, Lightbringer, that were you ten thousand times as glorious, and they ten thousand times as vile, yet would they still stand in my esteem as far above you as the stars stand from the earth. For you are a servant, whose duty it is to obey my commands and carry forth my plans, and that is all you shall ever be. And Adam and his descendants are my children, who shall inherit my kingdom, and nothing will displace them from that right. For that is the nature of the servant and the child, of the master and the father. And now it is given unto you that you shall remain and accept your lot, and the rights of my children, or you shall depart from me into the darkness never to return.
"And I say further unto you Belial, Lightbringer, most faithful and glorious of Angels, that because you speak out of ignorance this once do a forgive you. But should you dare ever again to slander my children before me I will put you forth from my presence with my own hand, and neither your deeds nor your obedience shall forestall my judgment. For it is not meant that a father should suffer his child to be slandered by a servant, even one such as you.”
He bellowed a roar, the anguish of the truth cutting deeper than any blade ever could have, cutting his very heart in half even has he tried to hold the pieces together. What good were these humans?! What could they do? Why were they better?! Why did He cast us aside as mere play things, nothing more than whimsy, to do his bidding and nothing more!? Shoving aside the doors to his Creator’s home, Belial walked across the expanse of the kingdom in a blink, through gardens and terraces, passed Choirs of Angels and those who practiced the arts of war, all doing as they were commanded. They would keep doing so, they would worship the little mud monkey on God’s little planet, sitting in His most precious Garden, living immortal in Eden. He was speaking with them Adam, chastising the man no doubt, but he would most likely get naught but a slap on the wrist. Adam, the first man, without sin, and the first Child of God. Pathetic creature.
Off to one side stood Azaz’el, his yellow eyes watching Belial, a smirk tugging on his lips. Yes, this one was already corrupt and Belial would deal with him, but only after he had won his Father’s love again, when it would be the Angels that inherited the kingdom. They were truly the rightful children. “Come, Azaz’el, it is time we do this.” Belial could hardly keep his anger in check, the rage at his pride being so thoroughly stripped, made to feel as if he were worth nothing. These humans would pay for clouding the judgment of his Father. He and Azaz’el made their way down to the Earth, outside of the garden, and waited in the darkness. They spoke with Lilith in the darkness, the tears in her eyes dried, and only hatred remaining. She wished for revenge and they would allow her that. There, Azaz’el shifted Lilith’s form into that of the serpent. Belial was to show his Father the folly of his ways in this, with Azaz’el’s aid, and they made their way to the Garden’s entrance. Here Belial hid Lilith as Azaz’el spoke with Gadreel, the Watcher for that day to bar the gates against evil. Gadreel could not disobey an order from his commander, Azaz’el, and allowed Belial to pass. Here is where he tricked the Angel into letting him pass, depositing Lilith within the garden, and it was this day that Lilith corrupted Eve into taking the fruit from the tree while their Father was busy elsewhere, to share with Adam who could not refuse a part of himself. The sin had come.
It was not long before Adam and Eve covered their nude forms with the Maple Leaves, hiding their shame from the eyes of God, and he knew what had occurred. Adam and Eve were embarrassed and full of shame and sin. They were cast from the garden, their immortality stripped, and pain cursed upon them. The core of the fruit would forever remain in Adam’s throat and each of his sons would bear that shame, while the very dirt that birthed him was cursed. Forever would the eggs of Eve and her daughters grow and die within her, the pain of death and the weight of her sin, visible for the world to see as she bled out that which had no sin. They would be forever corrupted and barred from his kingdom’s embrace, His wrath long lived, and His grudged held in iron grips. They had tried to pass the guilt from one another, Adam to Eve, Eve to the Serpent, but God did not have mercy for those he found to have disobeyed. The serpent was cursed, Lilith cast into hell, as she was always meant and was reunited with Samael.
They had eaten from the Tree of Knowledge, these creatures that presumed to be the children of God, these vile wretches that had given so easily into temptation. Broken and imperfect abominations. Belial knew his Father was wrong in this, and that these creatures did not deserve his love, yet he replayed the words that his Father had spoken to him. No, not his Father, for a Father loves his children. It was clear in their argument. He was nothing, a servant, meant to obey without love and without course forever without a voice. A son he was not, a child of God he could never be, for God claimed these derelict monstrosities as his own children. He was to be a lowly servant, beloved so long as he merely cast his eyes down and kissed the floor, and he could not have that for himself or for the Angels. He would prove himself worthy of love, show his Creator that he was better, even if he had to force him. The words kept playing in his head, bringing the anger, flaying his pride bare again and again.
Azaz’el did not take part in what happened next, instead he was on the side of God, only because Belial asked him to be. “Do not aid me friend, for if I fail, I would not wish for you to suffer my fate.” Corrupted as Azaz’el was, he took that opportunity at sanctuary, leaving Belial’s side. Openly now did Belial begin to accuse God of being wrong, of making the wrong choice, to slander him. Angels listened to him, the seeds planted in their hearts, and a third of the Heavens were swayed. A third stayed away, content to not pick sides, so that they would not win or lose, and they would not die. They were cowards. Michael, Gabriel, Rafael, Sariel, Jarahmeel and Uriel stood against him, the last third of the angels at their back, but they were evenly matched. The battle began and ended quickly, Belial on the side of defeat, with Michael’s blade at his throat. Surely all would be lost and he would parish. Why did I lose?! Why was I not victorious!? I just want you to love me, Father! Azazel watched from the crowd of Angels, then a light shown upon the battlefield and their Creator stepped forth, eyes on his servants.
“I give you mercy, yet you spit on me, Belial, Corruptor. You, who are my most glorious of Angels, you would bring blade and shield against me, corrupt my court, bring war to my step. My wrath you have now brought down upon your head and the heads of your brethren, whom have chosen darkness, and it will be unto darkness that they shall thrive. The darkness of destruction.” God rose his hand to smite those Angels before him, yet he stopped, a cry from Belial halting his judgmental wrath. “Father, no! Please, I beg of you. Leave me and those who came with me to the Final Judgment, for I wish for the chance to repent, though I know it is futile. Let me see the end before I am cast into the fire!” The Creator, merciful as he can be at times, said unto Belial, “Very well. Once the Last Day’s sun has fallen, you shall be cast into the fires of Hell, and death will be your solace.”
The hand of God dropped and the angels fell, light raining from the sky, their landing causing destruction across the Earth. Belial gazed up at the burning sky, at the falling angels, and those who may die upon the impact and he thrice cursed his Creator. “You will see that I am right, Father! Master! You will see that you are a fool! Your children shall worship you not, instead they will follow us, the Fallen! We will rise above you!” Upon the Earth, Belial strode, to begin a new life here among the humans, the Children of Adam, after a war that raged a thousand years. His pride was damaged and would forever remain marred until he proved himself right and, in doing so, forced God to love his true children once more.]
