[Chuunin Examiner]

Room 23

Room Description: A small room. The first thing noticeable about this room was the walls. They were jagged, nowhere near being refined. The color was deep green marble filled with some kind of metallic filaments.

The room was nowhere near being of any identifiable shape. It curved to the north about 15 feet. The length of the room was approximately 35 feet. The middle of the room was 20 feet wide while the far northern part was 25 feet just before curving in an obtuse angle.

To the South West was a mini hallway approximately 15 feet in length 10 feet wide. At the far end of that mini hallway was a large door made out of cold steel, large enough to hold in a large creature. Next to the door was a round beautiful heavy shield.

The Ceilings were made out of the same substances and was approximately 15 to 20 feet high.

Directly in the center of the room was a round table made out of wood with a 5 foot diameter. There were 4 hard wood chairs laid on all the sides.

On top of the table were several plates filled with various fruits and food. A pack of grapes, a couple of apples, and an orange. On top of the table but next to the plates was a simple hatchet with a pick at the end of the large blade. The hatchet was made out of steel with a wooden handle.

At the far South of the room laid a rug of sorts approximately 4 feet by 7 feet in size. The Rug was red with various designs on it in golden color with golden tassels.

On the far east was a 2 shelved bookshelf made out of wood with some simple metallic armbands (gauntlet Overview Protection) placed on it.

Contestants 11 Takeuchi, and 17 Yashouri would wake up in this room. 11 would wake up on the far north part of the room while 17 would wake up on the rug. When they wake up they would see their clothing was still there, their Apparel was still there, however what was gone was their other items. Weapons, Gadgets, Alchemical Mixtures were all gone. Even number 17's sand was not on him as he already disposed of that when he decided to use his eye technique. The only thing left on these two were some simple apparel items, slot holders, bags and what not.

After a brief moment when the two contestants would wake they would hear the sound coming from what may be an intercom they could not see.

"Welcome Examinees, let's play a game. As you have noticed you are somewhere not familiar to you. Your exams start now. You have one test, and one test only. Escape. If you cannot escape you have failed the exams. You can use whatever skill, and whatever item to your disposal. We will be waiting for you at the entrance."

[Takeuchi]

I woke up in a strange room, shaking off the final effects of the drug and began to look around. I was at the far end of a curved portion of the room and stood up slowly, making note of the strange shape of the wall, some kind of sound proofing, maybe? I couldn't really tell and began to walk around the room, looking over everything and purposefully avoiding entering the hall just yet. I had immediately noticed that the weight of both Banryu and the items that were suppose to be filling my butt bag, but that was not really important to how I fought. Still, I had been separated from Mayu and parted from my weapons, I hope my instincts had kicked in and I got off a good shot on whoever had done it while I slept.

Still, for the time being I looked around, over and under everything to see if maybe there was a key hidden somewhere around here. Perhaps most importantly of all, though, I listened. Particularly I listened to see if I could hear what, if anything, was behind that door of cold iron. I did not personally have much in terms of subtle escape, but I may have been able to break something and the door would be the weakest link. "Hey, wake up!" I called to the kid who had been brought in with me, "Can you go grab that shield for me while I'm checking everything out, please?"

A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill. If you are Schooled in Anthropology you gain a +10% synergy bonus with Observation checks that involve noticing disguise checks.

[Chuunin Examiner]

The shape of the wall was more of a cave. Shoddy workmanship from the underworld. When trying to listen behind the door he would hear nothing. There were no other sounds emitting around .When he tried to find a key he could not find anything. What he found was what was mentioned earlier, some fruit, a shield, a hatchet, and a pair of bracers.

[Takeuchi]

Damn boy, it would seem the person that I was stuck with in this place was out cold still. He must have been more affected by the sleeping toxin, for I was fairly certain it was a poison and not an illusion, more harshly than I myself had. Hopefully others had woken up at this point, perhaps we were all in the same building, just separate rooms. That brought a thought to mind and I sucked in a deep breath before bellowing as loud as I could. "MAAYUU!" I was, perhaps, only half expecting to be able to hear a reply at this point, even if she could hear me. There was no more time to waste and with the kid not waking, I had to do this on my own.

Grabing the dish of fruit carefully and ignoring the hatchet for the moment I grabbed an apple and tossed it at the bracers to see what would happen, next the shield would be beamed with the orange using all the strength I could muster, and finally I would re-use the apple from before, or get a fresh one if necessary, to toss at the hatchet. I made sure to keep at least ten feet from each item and didn't dare to enter the hallway just yet. After that was done, hoping no traps were activated by the fruit, I would proceed to throw all the apples and the grapes down the hall at varying heights and spots on the floor and walls to try and find possible traps there. Didn't really feel like getting killed by being too hasty and all that, you know.

[Yashouri]

 
  He hardly woke up with a great excitement surrounding him.He threw a sharp look at the man he woke up with.Yashouri looked around himself to find his gunbai but it was gone.He stood up trying to focus all of his elemental energies and trying to get into a fighting stance. He spoke to the man that had already got into the action. '' Shit..Im sorry mister i will put my best to it.. '''


  He slammed his hands together to focus on his sand energy.And nothing happened.His sands were also gone with this trap.He didn't have much skills left.He could only relay on his wind energy and this random man's powers.Yashouri didn't want to fail the exams.He tried hard to reach this lands.He had to make it.

Takeuchi was handling everything.But Yashouri couldn't just let him take all the danger.He walked next to him and did few handseals with a full focus. He yelled '' Fuuton: Daitoppa!!''

A great wind happened before them.He made his wind hit the weapons.The weapons would get fallen down and hopefully they would see if they had traps or not through the wind hitting them. The dusty wind surrounded them softly after his wind attack towards the items. He stood next to the man so he could work as a team with him,and even sacrifice himself for him like his parents once did for their teammates.

Fuuton - Daitoppa (Great Breakthrough)

Effect: User hurls out a large blast of wind capable of leveling almost anything within its path.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: ---
Description: User performs the handseals as they take in a deep breathe. Holding it for a brief moment they quickly exert it as a large blast of air the size of the user's head, and double the length is sent out towards the opponent within the distance of twenty five meters. This technique is capable of crushing an opponent's ribs if hit directly, or capable of dislocating a shoulder if hit along the shoulder. This technique is sometimes used to break down large doors, or to smack an opponent away from the user when the user comes into a bind. Depending on the user's class level depends on the distance this technique may be used. When the user is "D" class the distance is that of twenty five meters. Each class the user is higher then that of "D" The distance increases by five meters. When the user masters the art of wind, the blast increases by doubling it size as the distance is increased by ten meters.

[Chuunin Examiner]

The room would echo throughout however no one would yell back when Takeuchi would yell out the name of Mayu. No sound, it was silent. The room did however echo a bit as it was louder inside the room.

The apple was tossed to the bracers and the bracers slapped against each other against the shelf and fell to the ground making a loud clanging noise showing they were made out of metal. Nothing occurred afterwards.

The orange beamed to the shield and the shield made it's resounding sound as if something had made contact with it. The Shield would move some but nothing else out of the ordinary.

Reusing the apple against the hatchet it bounced some but just stayed there without much of a reaction. He would know it was made out of metal with a wooden handle.

When Takeuchi began throwing the fruits through the miniature hallway he would see nothing was being done. No traps were being sprung out, nothing exciting was happening.

(Yashouri, you need to specify which weapon you're doing it at because each thing is at specific areas. At least Takeuchi stated what he was doing to each one and I doubt you hit all 3 weapons with just 1 jutsu. That's now how that Jutsu works. Also please be specific in how that Jutsu comes along. Saying it doesn't really do anything. Describe how it is applied.)

I'll do a random die roll to see which one you apply the tech to.

Yashouri would perform the technique. It would fly towards the bracers smashing into the wooden shelf. The shelf and all of its contents would fly everywhere as it was crashed into by a powerful technique. The bracers would fly off to the north however nothing that was done to them would trigger anything, if anything was ever to be triggered. They laid there as simple metal bracers.

[Takeuchi]

Well, weapons didn't seem trapped and the boy was finally awake and could probably help out once he understood a few- Okay, nevermind. Kid just decides to shoot off a blast of some wind shit that blew the shelves with the bracers on them, well that wasn't a big deal anyways. Still, the kid actually called out the name of his technique before using it. I mean, come on. Shaking my head I walked into the hallway and went to pick up the shield, being cautious about my surroundings as I did. After taking hold of the shield I equiped it to my left arm and headed back.

"Kid, you should never shout out what you're doing, it's just plain stupid." While walking away from the door after getting to the far wall away from the room I turned to face the door. "I want you to try and open the door, stay behind it so it will shield you if anything tries to come out." Hopefully the kid would do it and the door was unlocked, but hey, nothing was stopping the world from making destruction the only solution. And hey, I had a sword and a fruit bowl, shit better be fucking scared now.

[Yashouri]

  The 15 yearsold shinobi,Yashouri had fallen into heavy breaths after being too hasty about using one of his fine techniques.But for the good thing,it worked as he thought it would.He could say that this was an succesful attempt.But nothing really happened.He had expected some kind of dangerous situation that would cause many problems.Yashouri looked around carefully after his wind storm.And after a short time he noticed the man was speaking to him.He turned at him with a childish smile as he put his hands in his pockets like he would always do.


  He would listen to him carefully, ''Well.. Its a habit that i have no problem with,but you're right.Its not only me in this place.I will try harder to become more carefull.'' He scratched the back of his green hair covered head and continuded to speak..Calmer now ''Im on it'' He this time responded on the ''door opening'' mission given to him by this man.He smiled and started to think ''Hmm.. This dude is pretty good.If it was for someone else,i would have already gotten fucked up.'' He nodded after his thoughts.


  Yashori carefully moved to the door.At the first minute he approached at it,he tried to examine it to see if there was something suspicious.After few minutes of blank inspecting he could sense or see nothing.He held the door and sticked himself on it so he woudln't be hurt if something came out.. Just like Takeuchi said.He pulled it with his full strength and managed to open it hiding behind it.

[Chuunin Examiner]

When examining the door he would not see anything suspicious. After the inspecting he would not see anything was wrong. When he tried to pull the door it flung it with his full strength and he would hide behind it without worry. The Door is now open. No traps were set off, or there were no traps to begin with.

(Short post, not much was done except opening a door.)

[Takeuchi]

The door flung open and.... Nothing. No beasts behind it, no traps going off... It just opened. Well, whatever. I was starting to get the feeling that escape didn't just mean the room, because this was pretty simple if that was the goal and not much of a Chuunin Exam. Shaking my head for a moment I put down the bowl for a moment and picked up the hatched, sticking it in my belt to hold it there if I would need it later. Next I went over to where the bracers were blown and picked them up, putting one on the arm not covered by the shield. I went back over to the bowl and grabbed it and held it under my armpit before walking over to the kid and handing him the other bracer.

"You can head your own way if you want, I have business before escaping this." Whether he accepted or refused the bracer I would go on without it, left behind or with him would be the only difference. I stepped through the door, wherever it led and would look around, attentive and observing whatever room or hall lay on the other side. After getting a good look around, if there were no immediate threats that I could perceive, my hands would move through a series of hand symbols and my eyes closed immediately after, the final symbol being held. Perhaps with this Thermal Sonar I would be able to catch sight of others within the building or at least the room. Well, at least that's the hope.

Description: Closing their eyes and using a few handseals, the Clan member sends out a wave of chakra from the pits in their nose. This thermal wave is like sonar and picks up any heat readings in the area, including humans.
Limit: Must be of the Tokagekuran, Must be of Lizardman rank, Must have had the ritual preformed.

  After he had opened the door carefully,he sighed with a relief.But how and why? How could this be this easy? Yashouri was surely worried about where this was going and to tell the truth he wasn't really a fast thinker.He really didn't want to become a useless weight to Takeuchi,but only thing he could do was to manage to help him since he was the one that would get them out of this place.If Yashouri was alone in this place,he would surely get.. ''Fucked up''.


  Yashouri turned at Takeuchi as he handed him the bracer.A raging smile had appeared on his young face.He took his hair from his face and took the bracer with his left hand,and wore it to his right hand.After wearing it,he pulled his thumb up to him without losing his smile '' There's no way im leaving you,mister! ''.He did another set of required handseals and focussed on his feet and leg areas.He also focussed on his wind and as fast as he would imagine the technique in his mind it happened.A wind surf had happened under him.He almost yelled the name of the technique,then remembered how he was told not to.After summoning his wind surf now he started to follow Takeuchi with his.He was flying close and around him to check if there were any dangers while he inspected the place,only thing Yashouri could do was to protect the man while he was taking care of business.Then he remembered something,now that he had lost his sand,he couldn't use a clone.So to see what was through that door he pulled the bracer from his hand and threw it towards the door with his full power,without losing his control on his wind surf.

  Hopefully if again it was clean,he could tell Takeuchi and they would leave.But there was no way that this would be this much of easy.Something messed up was going to happen on them..He knew it
