James' first real mission

Difficulty: Moderate.
Description: Small turf wars from gangs within the village have been breaking out lately, and causing havoc within Kumogakure. These gangs consist of Academy flunkies, bandits and the run of the mill thug. The village would have had these trouble makers obliterated with the use of ANBU, but due to a shortage of ANBU, this could not happen. As a result, the gangs have run rampant though out the village and have yet to been put in check.
There are two gangs which are causing havoc: “The Shockers” and “The Black Bolts”. These two gangs are commonly found around the financial districts, market places and crafting shops where they attempt to shake down store owners. With this information, devise a plan to stop the gang and its members: setting traps, attacking head on, etc.
Objective:(May be repeated 5 times)
Head to any of these locations and use any means necessary to stop these thugs and the gang they may be from.
Personnel Requirements: 1-3 Genin +(1 Chuunin if desired).
Reward: 10,500 ryo (8,000 ryo for a non-ninw


James walked along a path towards a Known gang hideout. He knew that there was going to be a massive turf battle so he picked now to attack. The path that he was on was covered in dirt and crushed leaves. It obviously wasn't in use due to the gangs. James used his ninja skills to walk silently along the path. He heard some voices so he hid behind a trashcan. The building it was connected to was a large square warehouse that used to contain construction materials. Since he knew that some of the gang members were academy dropouts they obviously knew some jutsu. This would be problematic if they knew any good techniques.

Since he didn't have much prior knowledge beside rumors James did the obvious thing and henged into a baby only a few months old and a little bigger than a foot in length. He crawled out to the large double doors that served as an entrance to the gangs hideout. He didn't know when the other gang was going to show up so James decided to get into a position where he would be capable of safely watching the fight and evaluating his opponents.

•Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique used to change into people other than oneself, but also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Unable to change into any size category larger than the user. May not change into anything that is smaller than Tiny size category (1 foot). Unable to change their voice. Unable to change their sense of smell. Unable to change their chakra signature. Once the user is hit this technique is dispelled.
Description: Using this technique, the user assumes the form of a creature of same size category as they are or smaller. User may freely designate the specifics of his new form (such as height, weight, hair texture and color, skin tone, etc.) User doesn't change their movements, nor handseals speed. In the new form user keeps all their normal abilities unless they use a limb or body part that doesn't exist within the current form. This means the user cannot use any technique unless the body form allows it. User may create equipment so the new form may carry so long as they are not complicated items, or use Chakra (Master Crafted Items, Gadgets, Explosives, Summoning Scrolls, etc). User is not automatically proficient in them and their physical strength is not the same as the item. Any part of the body or piece of equipment that is separated from the whole reverts to its true form. Technique lasts 10 minutes per Class level.
Limit: Universal Ninjutsu technique

James lay at the stoop of the warehouse as the doorbell rung. he door creaked open ever so slightly as a skinny man with long black hair answered the door. He looked to be in his upper thirties lower forties, and he let out a shrill cry of joy as he looked upon the young Kyoudo. "A BABY. OH MY GOD, IT'S A BABY!" He turned to what was presumably the leader of the gang. "Can we keep him?" He asked.

"As long as you feed it daily and keep your room clean you can keep the baby." The leader was more muscular with a bright yellow coloured hair. He took a sip from his sake as he gazed upon the entrance. "I sense trouble." He spoke with authority. "Ross, Rick, you two search the perimeter."

"Yes boss." Replied a new face. This man erupted from the shadows behind the gang leader. His tone of voice was very childish. If it wasn't for his large axe that he slung James would have assumed the gang leader to be running a charity to help the mentally disabled find local job opportunities. As it was the two men Rick and Ross were identical twins, and faithfully carried out the order in unison, but the paths they took seemed opposite in every regard.

The man that found James carried him into the warehouse lying James on a bare mattress before leaving. "I'm going t the store real quick to get you some milk wittle babypoo." After the man left, James scanned his surroundings. There were three other men in the room besides himself and the gangleader. None of them however, were paying attention to the henging teen. This was good as the technique wore off revealing himself. The other three were armed very basically with knives, kunai, and sickles. James knew if he could focus on his taijutsu he could easily take them out considering the other gangsters mental faculties.

It wouldn't be that easy as fate would have it as six men from a rival gang waltzed right through the front door. The lead man through on the ground Rick and Ross' heads. The room was tense for a quick moment. The ten men looked at each other, it was an unspoken agreement. They were going to fight to the death. It was very quick starting with a home team strike to the chest. The opponent fell as a sickle's blade buried its self deep within.

Another point to home as the man with the sickle followed through by punching one of the visiting team members in the face. This player grew furious at the action, and with a swift strike, stabbed the home team member in the neck with a sharpened knife. The fight went on longer than James expected, but finally the other two of the home team members fell in death. The only one that survived the enemies brutal assault was the gang's leader. He sat unmoving in his chair. There were three members of the enemy gang left, and they though it plenty enough to kill one last man. So while one of them ripped the sickle out of their fallen comrades chest. The other two went at him. The result was three dead men with an arrow through their heads.

The gang leader turned to James, who until this point had thought himself concealed in the shadows. He let outa large breath before stating. "I know your there, boy." Before James could react the gang leader sunshinned next to him. The man let out one more sentence. "And I'm going to kill you."

James looked at the man very freaked out. He didn't want to die. but he couldn't bring himself to move. The gang leader who one his shirt had a nametag that said Steve smashed the bow into James' stomach. Steve then proceeded to bring his fist up into James' chin in a mind numbingly intense blow. After that blow James was blown back into the wall. Hesitantly he gripped his blade. The archer retrieved a couple of arrows from his quiver. Three arrows were placed on the string. Their notches gripped it tightly. There was a long wait, and possibly someone in Australia or something said "Awkward,", but it would be unrelated. As within the time frame of what felt like an eternity Steve released.

James in a split second called upon his muscle memory and reflex to destroy the arrows. Not only was his mind trained from meditation, but also he was proficient in the art of drawing the blade. The arrows were all cut in midair falling uselessly to the ground due to the force that the blade applied to the cancelling out their own momentum. In retaliation to the attack James used shunshin to appear before Steve, blade still in hand. He used a double slash strike that destroyed the bow by halfway cutting it on both sides before using shunshin to retreat back to his previous position. Steve wasn't a ninja, he was just a really good archer. His poor reaction time coupled with the surprising move caused him to fall back. Steve, knowing that he had to do something quick, grabbed a sickle from the dead body behind him.

James jumped up even further than the ground level, resting himself on top of a few industrial sized stacked crates. While doing this he performed handseals. James' significant amount of taijutsu he used tired him out. At the point he was at he could barely stand. So he needed a quick end to the battle. Once the handseals were performed James ended with a reverse dragon seal. The seal summoned two dragons made of wind to surround himself. He forced them forward by pushing forward with his own arms while holding the seal. While James found it hard to breathe, Steve himself began to suffocate. He tried to escape the dragons by locking himself into a sealed crate to preserve the precious Oxygen inside, but he was unable to do so before he lost consciousness. Unable to tell when to stop James inadvertently killed Steve the gang leader.

He let go of the seal dispersing the dragon before lying down on the crate. He breathed heavily exhausted from the fight. It was a few minutes after this that the man sent earlier to get groceries or a henged James showed up. He had bags tired around his arms for extra support. These bags fell to the ground when he saw what had happened to his beloved comrades. He fell to his knees sobbing. When he spotted James he got up and ran towards him with a piece of pipe that was laying on the ground. "You did this, you monster. You're going to pay."

Performing the handseals for his bloodline secret, James activated statikku nagare. He performed some more after this to cause the new arrival's hair to stand on end. The technique cause a visible four dots to appear in Joshua's eyes. He decided to bs his way out of it instead of killing the poor old man, out of sympathy perhaps, though more likely out of pity. "Did you feel that? You are now under my clans famous doujutsu, infamous in the ninja world for its powerful Genjutsu capabilities. You will die if you don't flee at once, and tell the other gangs of this village that anyone caught doing illicit acts will be punished, severely." The man ran away with a petrifying scream escaping his mouth as he threw his arms in the air.

•Fuuton - Tsuin Doragon no Jutsu (Wind - Twin Dragon Technique)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Requires the only seal of dragon. It utilizes the element of wind to create two dragons that swirl around the user and can be moved through the air by chakra usage towards a target. The two dragons become fierce winds and collect any debris or anything that swirl around within it, and charge towards an enemy, slashing at them with fierce winds and a powerful blow. If the seal is formed upside-down, the wind dragons can be used in a vacuum sort of way; basically when the dragon's hit the user, the only effect it has on them is that it sucks the air out of them, causing lack of oxygen and possible suffocation.
Special: Handseals : Dragon (reverse dragon)
Drawback: If used incorrectly, or not strong enough to wield this technique, the jutsu could backfire. Especially dangerous when using reverse version, if not utilized well, suffocation could become your downfall.
Description: When created, it becomes two twin dragons, about 5 feet in diameter, length varies to the distance of the opponent. They look like traditional Chinese dragons, no color since wind is transparent, color can change to the debris that is collected.
Limit: Must have Wind Release

•Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push)

Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush forward in almost instantaneous speed. Used to draw the user close to the opponent.
Special: ---
Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu.

•Shunshin no Jutsu - Ken'in (Body Flicker Technique - Pull)

Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush backwards in almost instantaneous speed. Allows the user to retreat from the opponent.
Special: ---
Drawback: Takes away the number of usages Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push). Same distance applications apply. Same drawbacks apply when over using.
Description: User is able to move backwards in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. Supplement of Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push) while using same schematics.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu, Must know Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push)

Genkai Ryuu: Jinsokugeiru (Rapid Gale)

Effect: A simple double slash attack where user slashes horizontally one way and back again the other.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The user holds the blade with their strong hand and quickly slashes twice horizontally. This is a set up technique with two strikes able in a single movement.
Variation - With this variation the user is able to perform an attack with a double slash vertically, or any other direction the user wishes in a single movement. This technique is again used for the purpose of a setup attack for a more powerful attack.
Limit: Must Learn from a Master of Burēdono Kenseijin - ブレードの剣聖人 - Blade of the Sword Saint


Kochikami (Frightened Hair)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Sends a small burst of static towards the opponent, making the hair on the back of their neck to stand up.
Special: The opponent must have Sutatikku Nagare active.
Drawback: Must be within the user's Sutatikku Nagare field.
Description: By channeling a minuscule amount of chakra throughout the user's Sutatikku Nagare field, the user is capable of sending a tiny amount of chakra towards the spines and necks of the opponent. This electrical impulse causes the hair on the back of the opponent's neck to stand on end, as well as send a shiver down the opponent's spine. This might cause the opponent to believe that they are caught within a fear-based Genjutsu and cause them to attempt to break the Genjutsu and deal extra damage to themselves or waste chakra with a Kai application.
Limit: Must have Sutatikku Nagare.

Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade)

Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: This technique is the basic concept of Busōsen (Arms Flash) which deals specifically with the rapid drawing and sheathing of a sword.
Special: ---
Drawback: Missing the strike could result in the user being completely vulnerable.
Description: Picture The user stands in the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", taking no movements to perform. However, the concentration of such a quick strike is evident; upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so. This technique may be performed with a knockback attack, knocking an opponent into the distance of 10 meters into a prone position.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash).

Sutatikku Nagare (Static Current)

Skilll: Kekkai Genkai Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to manipulate electrostatics and electric charges.
Handsigns: Rat, Dragon, Ram, Tiger, Monkey, Dog, Horse, Rabbit once per 5 turns.
Drawback: Objects must be visible. While actively using this ability, the user must remain perfectly still, and no other jutsu may be used while the user is attempting to manipulate charges. Only metallic objects or semi-metallic objects can be manipulated.
Description: Allows the user to manipulate and control electrostatic, which is by definition electricity at rest. This gives the user the ability to move around both positive and negative charges on objects, which, in the end, can result in the ability to either repel or attract objects to and from each other. It must be noted that this jutsu strictly follows the concept of the Conservation of Charges. That means that without influence, all charges within nature are balanced at zero. Only when acted upon do these charges change. This ability is a requirement for all members of the Kyoudo Clan. When the user first gains this ability, they have only the ability to affect one object at a time within five meters of their person. At maximum, the user may move 10% of an object’s positive or negative charges to another object. While actively using this ability, the user must remain perfectly still, and no other jutsu may be used while the user is attempting to manipulate charges. Due to the relative electrical field produced by every person Kyoudo cannot affect people, and due to the low electronegativity of non-metallic objects, only metallic objects can be affected. It is only through mastery over the element of thunder that one can obtain this ability.
Limit: Kyoudo Clan only

James' shoulders lowered as he began to emerge from the warehouse. He was still in gang territory, and reinforcements could come at any time. He had to get out of dodge. Holding his shoulder he limped to the gate that would allow him to leave the fenced in area of the former stockyard. One foot fell in front of the other as his green jacket flowed in the wind. James could hear yelling in the background. Apparently the man he spared was able to find some friends.

James continued with a quickened pace. He knew he wouldn't be able to fight them off with taijutsu. The only option at that point was to use chakra. He blew out a lot of it with the wind dragons. The men got closer. Their footsteps vibrated off of James' ears. His ninja senses were much more finely tuned than the gang members, so it was no surprise when they came out of the bushes running at him words in hand.

They surrounded him. The senior most assailant spit out a violent curse before confronting James. "You, you monster, your gonna pay for what you did to our boss." The man slashed violently at James.

Due to the fact that he was untrained in the art of swordsmanship, James was easily able to sidestep the blow. James then prepared a counterstrike by performing a mass of handseals. Thanks to the cloudy nature of kumo's climate a lightning bolt was able to emerge and strike directly on James. This lighting was then transformed into a vortex from which a dragon emerged. "It seems I just got a thing for dragons today." James bluntly stated before using the dragon to sweep the now fleeing gangmembers into a tree. ", and by the way, It's you're." He finished the justsu by blowing the low level gang memebers away team rocket style. "Well, I guess we won't be seeing the again now." James stated before laughing heartily into the camera.



•Raiton - Rairyuu no Tatsumaki (Lightning Dragon Tornado)

Effect: Creates a large Tornado to where a massive dragon like element pushes forth creating a large like vortex.
Special: "Handseals"

Description: Rairyuu no Tatsumaki is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Lightning Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a bolt of lightning to drop from the sky. The current will be contained within and around the user's form. They will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon and strike out against his opponent. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.
Limit: Must have the Lightning Release.
