Clueless noob fight (Rank "D" not too many TPs!)

[Tenzen]

A fight for beginners intended to train roleplaying a confrontation!  

The area will be a clearing inside a forest, the clearing itself is only 10 meters wide in diameters, but the next 10 meters (radius) from the center are sparcely occupied by trees which provide light cover but allow good visibility of the area depending on the position of the person.  

The grass is low, and there is a small pound 1 meter in diameter in the very center of the clearing. a simple scenery which allows for much versatility. 

Since I provided the first description I’ll let the challenger make the first intro/move

The young hero-bourne slowly made his way into the clearing, his head on a swivel, slowly twisting his whole body in lazy turns to watch all sides of the forest.  The clearing was not an advantageous spot; it was difficult to spot those hiding directly outside of the clearing but it was extremely easy to identify those within one.  Tipu was not one to take such an advantage upon his enemies.  All true fights are those in which the combatants begin equally.

On his left hip was a sheathed sabre blade with an ornate hilt.  It was beautiful, really, and caught nearly every eye from noble to bandit across the land.  But it belonged to Tipu, a gift from a man more powerful than most could imagine, and they would have to cross him to gain it.

The Ninja of the Hidden Mist Village squatted near the center of the clearing, taking time to press his fingers against the soil.  Soft but not moist.  A typical dirt arena.  And, of course, the grass provided an extra blanket of cushioning.  He had an uncanny sense of believing that he was to run into trouble here.  His shadow pooled insignificantly below him; it was high noon.

The leaf ninja walked along the heavily wooded forest, constantly pulling branches out of his way, when he suddenly came across an area that was much brighter than the path that he had opened behind him, the tall trees stood about two meters from each other, and the hot midday sun cast almost perfectly circular shades beneath their leaves that barely touched the neighboring shadows , Tenzen thought they would be perfect for a lazy Sunday, especially with the lack of low hanging branches, but knew this was not the case. 

As soon as he left the forest itself he realized that ten meters before him started a clearing and in its center stood a tall boy, their right eyes met since their left sides were both covered from the each other’s sight by large trunks, noticing the fire and determination in his eyes, the young ninja had no doubts that this was an enemy, he readied himself while still in the lightly wooded area, knowing that the open clearing didn't benefit his fight stile. 

Still holding the kunai he used to open his path into this unexpected arena Nara Tenzen assumed a defensive position while still allowing a tree to block the direct path in his direction, analyzing how to engage the unknown foe that stood before him. 

[Tipu no Zakuji]

Tipu squatted like this for a while, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the serenity of the forest.  It was quiet, for which Tipu was grateful.  He stood up, making another turn around, keeping his eyes on the surrounding forest, when his heart suddenly skipped.  Half-hidden behind a distant tree was a shinobi bearing the mark of the Konohagakure village.  At first Tipu wished to believe that this man might be his ally, but then he regarded the look in his enemy's eyes.  A lust for battle.  Tipu met his opponent with a stony gaze.

Without moving his pupils from the enemy, he moved his right hand down to his left hip.  Sliding his hand through the hilt of his ornate blade, he gripped it purposefully.  The sound of the metal on metal was always music to the swordsman's ears.  He relished it, still watching closely, as he pulled the sword from its scabbard.  The curved blade shot bright pendants of reflected light onto the green grass around him.  He held it by his side.  The thin blade felt right in his hand.

Tipu raised his chin and brought his free arm up.  Was his opponent going to cower in the forest or meet him in glorious combat.  His left hand beckoned the Leaf Ninja forward.  He would wait for his opponent to enter the clearing with him.  And if chose not to, then Tipu would wait.

The impasse seemed to stretch for hours while both appeared to analyze the opponent , not wanting to make the first move, however the shadows hadn’t moved a single inch by the time Tenzen decided it was time to take the initiative, after observing that his foe had strong hardened arms, probably derived from intensive physical training, which held a marvelous sword, he decided the best alternative would be to keep the distance, staying under the trees where he could profit from their shadows for his clan Jutsus, and their concealment from the opponents maneuverability.

Choosing to start the engagement from a distance, he begun performing a quick sequence of handseals, and molding his chakra into a senseless form of energy in order to render the target's eyes, ears, nose and even mouth useless, he chose to start with a Genjutsu, since Taijutsu users were usually more vulnerable to illusion techniques, as the last handseal was finished, he projected the Jutsu into his enemy's mind, hoping to make him defenseless.

Without waiting for the result Tenzen followed with a Ninjutsu, in order to both check if his previous attack was effective, and to harm his opponent as much as possible, concentrating his chakra into the ground near the enemy as it formed five senbon the young Nara projected one needle into the opponents artery right beneath his right fist, in order to make the grip in his sword as weak as possible, a second into the back of his right knee and the third just under the front part of the lag, in the same height, where the doctors usually test for reflexes, the forth was aimed at the Achilles heel, those three were in order to limit his opponent's movements as much as possible, and the last was aimed at the upper part of the stomach, where the needle would impede his breathing and cause most damage.

After performing his attacks, he drew a kunai, and stood in a defensive position, waiting for his adversary's reaction to the first round of attacks.

Sensory Deprivation

Skill: GenJutsu  

Effect: Rather than creating an illusion of something, this Jutsu creates an illusion of absolute nothingness.  

Special: "Handseals"  

Drawback: ---  

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 living creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 30 meters plus 15 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 rounds per class level. This technique may be negated. The Jutsu effect surrounds the target in a dark clinging shadow only it perceives, which blocks all auditory, olfactory, taste, and visual sensations. In addition, it blocks finely tuned senses of touch such as those that provide a creature with Tremorsense. A subject that fails its save is blinded and deafened, it gains no benefit from blind sensing techniques. The subject retains any telepathic or empathic links it might possess with other creatures while affected by the Jutsu.

Doton Senbon Soushi no Jutsu (Earth Senbon Creation Technique)  

Rank: "D" "D" "D" "D" "C" "B"  

Skill: Ninjutsu  

Effect: Creates Senbon out of the earth and fires them at the opponent.  

Special: "Hand Seals"  

Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Senbon. Cannot be used on Sand.  

Description: Forming the hand seals, the User begins to use the Earth Creation Technique to form Senbon in the ground wherever they choose. These Senbon can then fire from the ground at the same speed and strength as if someone had thrown it. These earthen Senbon are shaped like those that are sold in stores and are just as sharp. At D rank, this jutsu forms five Senbon wherever the caster wants. This can be five in different spots, or five all together. The D rank can be learned 4 times for 20 Senbon. Then this jutsu can be learned C rank for 10 more and then B rank for 20 more. Fifty Senbon (after learning 4 D, 1 C, and 1 B rank Jutsu) can be fired from all around the opponent, aimed wherever the caster chooses.

Anatomist

Effect: The user has far more knowledge of the Anatomy than most due to their upbringing.

Description: The user has studied the workings of anatomy, either as a student at University or as an apprentice mortician or Necromancer. The user knows where to aim their blows to strike vital organs. User gains a trait bonus of +10 Armour Points in damage with physical strikes when attacking vital areas. This trait replaces 1 Freebies.

Limit: Must start with Character; replaces 1 Freebies.

[Tipu no Zakuji]

For an instant, which passed like anything but an instant, the two shinobi stood still.  His ornate sabre still held tightly in his right hand, he watched as the other began to make hand seals.  Immediately he assumed that his opponent was not a taijutsu user.  He would have the speed but his opponent would have the range and chakra.  He would have to be wary if he wanted to leave this forest alive.

As his opponent formed the twelve hand seals required for the first technique, Tipu knew he had to move.  If he was a ninjutsu using opponent, he would have to gain the advantage by taking him in close combat.  It was the length of the standard reaction time, but after he saw the opponent's hand seals, he would leap forward.  His initial leap was that of five meters, enough to clear half the distance to the tree line, and upon his landing he made a few strides forward before the color faded from the world.  Blackness suddenly surrounded him and he halted in a knee-jerk reaction.  He attempted to look down at his own body.  It was gone.  The sound of his own breathing had halted.  Everything was still.  He could not even feel the ground beneath his feet.  A thought slipped into his mind and

passed quickly.  His opponent might be capable but he couldn't believe that he had been bested so easily.  Which meant that only one reason remained:

Genjutsu.

No other technique could have the detrimental effects that he was experiencing.  The fluttered thoughts of fear and chaos held him...then passed.  He was not one to fall feebly into his opponent's hands.  So he would have to think: what would he do if his opponent were blind?  The more his opponent was blind, the more he would become acclimated to it.  The more he would learn to cope with it.  Therefore the initial disorientation would leave the opponent in a ripe spot.  Which meant...

Tipu hurled himself back quickly, leaping back from where he was standing, not caring where he landed.  He needed to move himself around, and quickly.  A moving target was much harder to hit, in any case.  He felt himself fall back ((I'm going to assume that he can still feel the effects of gravity and thus his bodily orientation, if that's okay with you.  If not let me know and we can try and work it out via PM)) but he didn't know where he was or what he might have tripped over.

The trajectory of the senbon, taking their initial position from the ground, mostly missed their vital targets.  The first one would fly wide as Tipu jumped backwards, but the second landed in the bottom of his right calf ((You didn't specify which leg you were choosing so I'm assuming right, his dominant)) and the fourth in his heel.  He did not feel them in his skin.  He scrambled backwards, attempting to get back into the forest.  He had made his way back to the treeline behind where he initially was, still unaware of where he was or what he was facing.

OOC: My genjutsu doesn't actually remove the sense of tact, just "finely tuned senses of touch" so you would feel both the senbon and the ground, and also, since gravity is a force applied on your body I think it's felt through tact, in this sense I think it's ok to assume his bodily orientation still work okay, perhaps just slightly numb. Also I have some doubts about the relation of movement/distance travelled, if I get a little unrealistic on my post please point it out. 

Tenzen didn't actually need his follow up ninjutsu to be sure his technique had worked, the look of sheer despair in the opponent's face was more than enough, however he was grateful for having performed the second technique, since the quick recovery and reaction from his foe might have fooled him if 2 of the senbon had not found their mark. Realizing he had the upper hand, the leaf gennin quickly ran as fast as he could in the direction of the clearing, where he could still see the blind ninja stumbling trying to get away from him, after clumsily falling, however he was not very effective, instead of going straight back his lack of orientation made him deviate from his intended trajectory by 45º degrees, and his speed, however still impressive in such a situation, was considerably reduced giving the konoha gennin time to approach. 

After reaching the boarder of the clearing sprinting as hard as he could, Tenzen observed that his opponent was about 10 meters away, too far for a decent shot, the gennin decided to profit from his opponent's lack of sight and his linear trajectory, performing the necessary handseals and molding his chakra into the earth in front of his adversary, quickly erecting a pillar of stone right in his path, he didn't wait for the result before drawing one of the disks that lay in his back, preparing for the next round.

Doton: Tsuchi Hashira no Jutsu ( Earth Pillar Technique )

Rank: C / B

Skill: NinJutsu

Effect: This is a technique that allows a user to erect either one pillar, or multiple pillars.

Special: "Hand Seals"

Drawback: How high a pillar may travel depends on the user’s rank. At D rank, the user is able to create a pillar that is 3 meter high, and every rank higher the user is, the height doubles. The user may decide whether the pillar rises upwards, diagonally, etc, and the user may also decide at what speed. Aside from that, this technique, at C rank, may only create one pillar while at B rank it is capable of erecting many of them. The combined height of the pillars can never be higher than the normal maximum for one pillar. Also, the pillars aren’t all that thick and can thus be broken fairly easily.

Description: The user completes the required hand seals and upon reaching the final one, the jutsu is activated. A pillar will rise from anywhere within a vicinity of fifteen meters when known at C rank. If the user knows this technique at B rank, the user may cause a plethora of pillars to rise instead of just one throughout a twenty-five meter radius.

Limit: Needs the Earth Release.

Effect: User has learned how to draw their weapon without taking up a movement.

Drawback: ---

Description: The user can draw a weapon without a movement. The user can draw a hidden weapon (With Sleight of Hand) without taking a movement. A user who has this technique may draw a throwing weapon and hurl the weapon within 1 movement. Without this technique, the user may draw a weapon as a movement.

Limit: Must be a Throwing Specialist.

At this size they are portable and can be used as a thrown weapon. They are normally open-centered metal discus with a sharpened edge. A user may use a Medium Disk weapon as a melee weapon, but they are not designed for such use. Medium Disks do not get larger than 1.2 m (4 feet).

Limit: These items may be bought inside any Weapon Shop.

[Tipu no Zakuji]

The effecting blindness had rendered the taijutsu user completely incapacitated.  Without this, he was unable to use any offensive or defensive techniques effectively and, in fact, would be unable to detect an incoming, fatal attack.  Tipu knew that pain was going to be the only way to break the genjutsu.  He was still laying on his back with the sabre in his right hand.  He pulled it across his chest and let the blade sink into his left bicep.  Pulling it slowly, he didn't want to rip the arm too much, but just enough to let the pain break the genjutsu.  Yet as he pulled it, and as the pain raced through him, the genjutsu continued to haunt him.  Pulling the blade from his arm he grimaced.  His arm screamed at him, the skin and muscle beneath ripped into shreds, but the pain did not conquer the genjutsu.

Grimacing, he felt a stabbing pain in his right calf and heel.  Reaching for the pain, he pulled two earth-like senbon from their respective wounds.  Unable to see them, they were nothing more than thorns in his mind's eye.  He stood up, holding his sword, trying to ignore the pain that made his stomach roll.  He retreated even further back, taking a couple of small jumps backwards until he backed up to a tree 12 meters away from his opponent's position.

Tenzen could not help being impressed by his opponents courage and determination, when he pierced his own arm in order to break the illusion, not being discouraged by this act of bravery that was apparently fruitless the young Nara took a leap forward, landing three meters from his previous position, as his blind foe did his best to escape, judging the distance was good for a safe attack with the disk that lay in his hand, the leaf ninja assumed a steady throwing stance and aimed without hesitation at his adversary's left knee, intending to debilitate his movements as much as possible before the effect of the genjutsu passed, when he would be vulnerable to the opponents superior speed. 

The disk left the shinobi hand's with a sounding *hisssss which was not noticed by the deaf target, and flew powerfully in his direction, quickly covering the distance of 9meters that separated them, approaching the bending joint of his foe's leg, Tenzen hopped that a succesfull hit would render him almost unable to walk, due to the weight of the weapon and the effect of it's cutting edge.

Point Blank Shot

Effect: A technique that gives the user greater proficiency within the range of 10 meters.

Drawback: ---

Description: With this technique the user has learned how to combat against opponents within 10 meters without fear or fumbling with their weapon. They gain the courage and ability to perform combat without much effort. This is a prerequisite technique for more popular techniques. What good is a Throwing Specialist if they are not ready to battle while in close range.

Limit: Must be a Throwing Specialist.
