Akane was…. Well lets be frank. Akane was having the time of her life. She made faces at the mirror, amused at the horribly disguised face looking back at her. She had goats fur effectively glued to her chin. That had been thoughtlessly added before she had powdered her face to a darker shade, meaning under the pelt the skin was still pale while the rest of her exposed skin was darkened to a tan instead of white. On top of that, she had applied the same fur to her eyebrows, to help match the color of course. Nothing she could do about her big doe eyes, she noted, so she tinged the underside dark, trying to go for a sunken eyed look. She did a terrible job of it and now looked like she had two black eyes from continuous corrections until there was black everywhere.
She shrugged her cloak on, pulling up the hood to hide her face in shadow. Nope. That just wasn’t doing anything. It was that bad. Akane laughed delightedly regardless. She loved trying new things, though she couldn’t usually maintain that enthusiasm for most, giving her some jack of all trades tendencies. As an afterthought, she stuck a pillow under her cloak and hunched a bit. Now she looked deformed. She had just been going for old, but deformed /could/ work. Its not like this was a job or anything, so why not?
She frowned down at her feet. She had been planning on going barefoot, but her unlined, young feet mocked her with their uncooperative nature. She stamped them experimentally. Nope. Still young. She glanced around, trying to get ideas. Her room was a hodgepodge of random things and therefor full of inspiration. Her eyes landed on some cloth for binding wounds and her eyes lit up. Of course! She then proceeded to borrow some dirt from a potted plant, rub it vigorously into the clean bandages, then wrap her feet and hands with them.
She looked at the mirror again. Actually. That’s not nearly as bad as she expected. As long as no one looked under the hood and she hobbled effectively… Ok no not even then, but she was still gonna have a good time!

Disguise
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: A person versed in the art of disguise can alter his appearance to be unrecognizable- even to his own mother.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: A user may choose to appear as the opposite sex, a larger person or possibly even a smaller person. There are, of course, common sense limits to this skill. A balding, fat, middle-aged male innkeeper is going to have one hell of a time disguising himself as a voluptuous female prostitute. In general, the following limitations apply: Height: +/- 25% of actual height; Weight: +/- 50% of actual weight; Sex: Male or Female; Hair: Any Color; Eyes: Any Color; Complexion: Any Color; Facial Features: Highly mutable
Obviously, the ability to speak the language of the person you impersonate is not granted. The character may need to purchase clothes or materials depending on his disguise. Look in Task Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. If user has 25 or more Ranks in Acting user gains a Synergy Bonus +10 to Disguise (to act in character). Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.
