Chakra Suppression Technique
Rank: B
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique designed to hide the users chakra.
Special: ---
Drawback: Cannot perform any chakra related technique.
Description: Using expert chakra control the user is able to suppress their chakra levels to a bear minimum. This makes it impossible for chakra sensing types to detect the user. Dojutsu that can see chakra will not be able to see the user’s chakra signature. They can still be spotted by normal sight methods.
Limit: Must be a Sensor.

Predator. Prey. Both had ways of detecting their next meal. Both had ways of preventing themselves from being something else's next meal. There were those who had an acute awareness of their own chakra. Schatzi Rutherford was among them. There were those who had an acute awareness of the chakra of others. Schatzi Rutherford was not among them. But she knew of them, oh yes. And with knowledge of her own chakra at least, she intended to learn to manipulate its form, and conceal it from those who would detect her presence.
Stealth mode, if you will.
Takigakure was still closed to the shapeshifter. At least for now. She would return when she was ready. No sooner. In order to protect her Master, she would have to be the secret weapon, the monster none knew of until it was too late. She was in meditation now, feeling out her own chakra, testing where it ebbed and flowed. Where it swelled up ready to be used, and where it could hardly be felt at all.
She tried to rein it in, flatten the spikes as best she could. But she couldn't. There was no prior experience in her long life to draw upon. No precedent. She was essentially flailing about in the dark. But that was alright. Even if she didn't know how to do what she wished to, she was confident she would be able to figure it out eventually. With patience.
A few woodland creatures had politely volunteered their service, mostly by wandering upon her every now and then, drawn by the "smell" of her chakra. She killed them each in turn, devouring until there was no scrap of hair nor blood nor bone remaining. No trace. Nothing to warn off future curious visitors. When she was properly suppressed, that was when she would be left alone.
Still she kept much of her attention inward, attempting to quell the swells of her chakra, to normalize them with the world around her, bringing it to a flatline. It felt like she was seeing a small amount of progress with that, but not much. Only being able to maintain it for a second or two literally was not exactly useful. But perseverance was key.
At least that was what she assumed. Proof would be seen in the results, most likely. Though even if she was making more progress than anticipated, it would be some time before results would be apparent enough to qualify as proof. That was fine. She was immortal, at least in the sense of being a timeless being, though death through violence or disease was still a possibility. She had all the time in the world to get it right.
