Name: Training Day - Genjutsu Rank: D IIC Length: 1 day Difficulty: Easy Description: With the mind perhaps the most vital aspect of a human's makeup, it is required to hone mental capability. Training a simple illusion art will do the brain good, as well as open other venues in terms of attack strategy. Objective: Train a D-ranked technique in Genjutsu. Reward: 4000 ryo
Appearing at the area he had agreed to meet up with Flow, Terry would be seen a different outfit. He had took the assistant's advice to freshen up. "What's up, Flow?" he said appearing behind him. "I didn't get the chance to introduce myself earlier on, I am Terry." He smiled at the boy and adjusted his glasses before continuing to talk. "So, what will you be training?" This was going to be his second mission of the day, he didn't know if he was going to be able to complete it. Knowing that genjutsu was not his strongest point, he had decided to try training a D ranked..
Fire Style: Inferno Technique Rank:D Skill:Ninjutsu Effect:Shoots small gouts of flame towards the opponent. Special:Ox, Monkey, Rabbit, Tiger Drawback:Requires the user to exhale and keep their dominant hand cupped over their mouth. Once the user is out of breath or moves their hand, the technique falls. Description:The user performs the handseals, energizing their hand and their oesophagus with chakra. The user then cups their hand over their lips and exhales. The oxygen being expelled from the lungs combusts upon reaching the chakra from the hand, and the user blows it out a maximum of ten feet away. This is different from the Goukakyou no Jutsu in the fact that this comes out as a stream and not a fireball, and also different from the fact that once the user stops breathing out or moves their hand, the technique ends. Limit:Fire Release (??/10)
flow stood up from meditating at the voice of terry he was pleased that terry came . "hello to you too terry , i will be learning a new technique , the inferno fire technique , what will you be learning?" . After flow said that to terry , he began to do a bit of 3-6 warmups , he then took out a fire scroll full of d and c ranked fire jutsu , flow smiled and showed terry the scroll "i didn't know we could learn from scrolls" flow read the jutsu with patience and understanding.
Flow closed the scroll and lay it next to terry , "let me go first anyhow" flow stood in a manner of molding chakra , with a single hand seal infant of him , he built up chakra around his trachea covering the pathway walls with chakra until it was close to his bronchi then he concentrated to raise it up to the epiglottis , holding the same stance he focuses some of his chakra around his right hand ,
flow inhaled a great amount of air , fused it with chakra in his lungs , then at exhaling he blow out of a cupped hand , nothing except for gasping occurred , flow tried again with the same amount of air but still nothing happened . . .
Flow thought about the fire element , how it is made and what it needs , -standing silently a meter away from terry - flow looked around , it was misty ofcourse , flow realised that the mist could be affecting the jutsu , so he tried to cause hydrolisis , he separated the oxygen element from hydrogen , using his water chakra , then he tried to suck in the oxygen , trying to get as enough pure oxygen as he could , flow knew that from the cells of his body , some energy had to be lost so he summed up his chakra and tried to create chakra in his cupped hand , this gave him the chance to keep the hydrogen ions close enough , as he exhaled he blew off heat , but it wasn't visible yet , but he felt it in his hands As it came out , flow knew that it wasn't the mist , it was the amount of time he kept the air in his body that decided the fire .
Flow once again tried the same thing on a patch of grass lying next to him , he opened up his airsacs as he inhaled a huge amount of air , he kept it in for a few seconds (60seconds) allowing his chakra to fuse in , and he concentrated on his hands as he kept the air in , the chakra in his hand was ready , he pulled his hand toward his mouth and he exhaled .
A highly heated fire stream appeared , but it disbanded quickly as flow couldn't maintain it much longer than 10seconds , flow didn't know where the problem was . . . He was becoming tired , flow walked toward terry to have a look at the scroll one more time , flow realised that he forgot something when lining the chakra along his tubes , he had forgotten to also line the oesophagus and close it as it was a passage for food and not air , so flow focused and lined the oesophagus with chakra and he closed it with chakra , upon doing so , flow inhaled again , this time creating a filter made of chakra to try and create pressure on the release of the air , flow cupped his hand , fused chakra in it , paused for a moment for surety , he exhaled . . . Gouts of fire were created as flow was aiming at the grass near him , the grass burned to ashes

Friendsight Rank: "D" Skill: GenJutsu Effect: All subjects of this Jutsu perceive each other as surrounded by a glowing aura of a color the user specify upon performing. Special: "Handseals" Drawback: --- Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects all allied creatures within 30 meters radius spread. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 30 meters plus 15 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 minutes per class level. All subjects of this Jutsu perceive each other as surrounded by a glowing aura of a color the user specify upon performing. Distance, cover, and concealment do not negate the area unless they prevent any possibility of sight. (That is, any subject capable of spotting another subject under the prevailing conditions can see the latter's aura.) Normally, this Jutsu is used to prevent accidental attacks against allies in darkness, fog, battles with similarly dressed foes, and other confusing situations. This Jutsu also gives each subject a +4 to avoid any Chakra effects that would cause that subject to harm another target of the Jutsu. Friendsight is a phantasm, so the perceived auras are entirely in the mind of the subject. The recipients do not actually glow, although they radiate Chakra that can be detected with Jutsus capable of finding Chakra. Limit: Must know the Phantasm Perception.

Just watching the little genin train was amusing to Terry, he seemed to know what he was doing. He stood there silently observing Flow as he train.' He is a fast learner, and would be a great asset to my team.' he thought. After Flow had completed his training, he would walk closer. "Nicely done, little man. I'm going to train one of them mind shitty shit jutsu." he said laying down the scroll before him to begin his jutsu. He began reading and making sure to understand the theory... First he had to perform a few handseal, which did not seem very hard to him. Second he had to transfer chakra into the enemy's mind the jutsu would take its cause.
Now that he knew the theory behind his jutsu, it was time to begin learning the real thing. He began by practicing the handseals. He practiced them a couple of times, trying to get his mind and hands used to them. They were easy to remember since there were only 6 handseals. After he was sure he could perform the seals according to their sequence, he went back to the scroll to look for the next step. Ah Chakra control, it seemed to be good at this he needed to be able to perfectly control the chakra flowing all over his body. Chakra control was not going to be hard since he was very good at medical ninjutsu, and medical techniques required good chakra control to perfect
He closed his eyes, focussed on his chakra, and slowly began gathering it to the point on his belly. He breathed in, feeling the chakra slowly flow through his chakra points into the main source which is his nucleus that is exactly at his belly button point. When he had gathered enough chakra, he pushed his chakra all over his body playing around with it, then he put a lot of pressure to it and exerted it out his body. When he finished training his chakra control, he felt ready to perform. He went back to his scrolls to read the steps again, he wanted to master is quickly and take up another mission. He was expecting to get it right the first time, but he was going to try.
After reading the steps once more, Terry faced Flow in to try and use this jutsu on him. Quickly flashing the needed handseals, while keeping his focus on Flow. With each handseal he gathered a certain amount of chakra. After the the finale handsign, he pushed out made the electrons (chakra) to start running inside his body, then sent them into Flow's head in attempt to form a friendship bond between. His electrons would gently attach to Flow's valence orbit (brain) filling the empty spaces, and forming a friendship bond.. Should his attempt be successful, Flow would see a blue aura of energy that represented their frirndship. "How do you feel, Flow?" he asked curiously.
Should his first attempt not work, he would try another way to cast the jutsu. He would slowly perform the needed handseals, quoting chakra, and forming an aura with every handseal he performed. After the last handseal, anyone who had a clear vision of him would see blue aura glowing over him, making anyone who sees it want to be friendly towards him. He would turn again towards Flow to check how he was feeling.
Flow was unsure of what terry expected from him but flow was honest he affirmed terry "i see blue weird things around you terry , if this is the gen jutsu please release me at once " as this was done flow told terry they should head to the tower to submit their mission and take another , flow loved training with someone watching him . . . Flow put his mission scroll and his fire scroll in his buttbag and put his hands on his shoulder blades with elbows pointing up to the sky ,he began walking as terry took his.

According to Flow's explanation of what he was seeing, Terry was certain the jutsu was successful. Now that they had each trained their D ranked jutsu, it was time to head back to the tower to collect their cash, and maybe even take another mission. This sure was a busy day for Terry. Quietly releasing the friendship genjutsu between him and Flow, he would pick his genjutsu scroll, place it in one of his pocket and joined Flow in walking towards the Mizukage's tower.
After leaving the tower, Terry had ran home to quickly grab a few things. After grabbing something to eat and changing his outfit, he began walking towards the field he had agreed to meet up with his teammates. He had no experience in leading a team, but he was very confident in himself, and he was going to try by all means to be a great leader. He only hoped that they would all get along and accomplish a lot of things together. He was actually happy that his bosses had decided to put him in a team. Doing missions and training alone is not as fun as doing it with friends. Upon arriving at the spot, he would lean against a wall and start thinking. "I hope they get here soon." he said to himself. He had not decided on which jutsu to train, he was going to use this waiting time to decide what to train. He wanted something that would knock the opponents off their feet, or something that would leave the opponents stunned for a while. This time he would be seen wearing his glasses.

Having now perfected his water dragon jutsu, he was now on the rush to meet up with his teammates. He was very late and he knew that. Right now he had to find his pals. He didnt really know were to find them, he brought his pet bird along "Sozen, ascend and search" he ordered his companion to search for terry and flow. After a while of searching Sozen finally found them and used his wings to show the direction.
Kidori finally caught up to them, Terry who was leaning on the wall looked bored, well I dont blame him but Kidori had to change his outfit and bring his ninja tools along. He brought multiple kunai, shurikens, explosive tags and as always his katana. "Sorry, Im late, had to change" he said, with a lazy face on him. "Ow wait, I got a scroll that contains the secrets of suiton ninjutsu, Yes u guessed it! I used it! Be en training the B ranks BABY!" he said, showing some excitement. He looked up to see Sozen who was now mid air and ordered him to returm home
After a couple of minutes waiting, one of his teammates arrived. "It's alright, little man." he said softly to Flow, who was apologising for his lateness. He was a patient guy, waiting a couple of minutes wasn't much of a challenge to him. 'This guy sure loves to talk' he thought, laughing at Kidori. "Right, now that we're all here, I think we should know a little about each other before we begin training. I want you guys to tell me what you're good at, your weakness and all that stuff." he said smiling at his teammates.
Since he was the leader, he thought it was only right if he went first. "As you guys know, My name is Terry, I don't posses any particular kekkei genkai. Even though I like taijutsu, I'm very skilled in the art of medical ninjutsu. What I would call my weakness is uhm... genjutsu, that's why I'm going to train it today. " he paused for a minute, before continuing. "How about you guys? he asked, looking at them and smiling. He hoped they would get along and accomplish many missions together. As he waited for their reply, his mind would be busy trying to decide what jutsu he was going to learn.
Flow was surprised , the Kidori guy has been playing with big guns - B ranks , its like he thinks like me , i was also planning to go B rank - he thought to him self but didn't want to seem competitive , " well you also know me , i am Flow of the Nara clan , i also have no keoken genkai , if my clans techniques were kekkei genkai then that would be it , i am interested in learning wood release that is my target , i can easily learn other nature transformations , i am not aware of any weakness , i see my self as a jack of all trades , but ill be training more of my can't jutsu today ." flow sat down and folded his arms avoiding eye contact , listened to the other genin speak

The dynamic leader tried methods to get let them get to know eachother. He addressed his weaknesses to the young genins, his weakness seemed to be genjutsu. "It seems Im the only one that possess a unique kekkei genkai" he giggled. "I am Kidori, heir of the Kaishin bloodline, You see, my clan is unique, We are highly skilled in water, wind and ice techniques, You might think fire is our weakness, Well than your very wrong! Our ice can be as strong as titanium with enough training, The ice doesnt melt. However speaking of me, Ive learned a few of my kekkei genkai ninjutsu, I can create water were the isnt water, I can create ice were there is water, You see Terry I dont believe in that mind affecting mumbo jumbo! I believe in sheer brute force! Causing total annihilation to my opponents! I rest my case" he said, he was dead serious when he spoke. He went to a nearby tree approximately 3 metres away from them and sat next to it

Terry carefully listened to his teammates as they explain a little about themselves. They seemed determined and confident, and he like that. "Well, the mind affecting mambo jumbo can cause you to lose a fight." he commented to Kidori's statement of not being a genjutsu fan. "Now that we know a little something about each other, we may begin training. he said adjusting his glasses. He took his focus from his teammates and onto the jutsu he was planning to master. The first thing he did was try to understand what the jutsu was about and all that is required for this jutsu. So, to perform this jutsu, there were a couple of handseals that were needed, the after that he needed to send his chakra into his opponent's brain to disturb their chakra currents. It did not seem that hard.
He knew that most genjutsu required touch, eye contact, smell and all that, but this one was different, it only required hand seals. Before he could try to perform the jutsu, he remembered one important thing needed to master genjutsu, chakra control. He knew that everyone one who wished to learn or cast a genjutsu must have chakra control. He might Have learned a genjutsu without breaking a sweat earlier on, but that might have been because it was a weak jutsu. He began forming the handseals required for this jutsu with the scroll right in front of him. He went through each handseal slowly trying to get his hands and body used to them. The handseals were the easy part of the jutsu, because they were not that many. He performed them a couple of times until he thought he body, mind and soul were used to them.
Next step now was trying to gather as much chakra as he could, so he could force it into the opponent's brain to disturb their chakra circulation. He stood up straight, closed his eyes and began gathering chakra to his belly. Since the belly was know to be the main source of chakra, he thought if he gathered his chakra there, then he would be successful. He felt the chakra all over his body heat up his tenkutsu as it moved to his belly. Once he had gathered enough chakra, he tried moving it to certain points of his body to ensure that he had good control over it. He extended out his right arm, and slowly began pushing his chakra towards his right hand. He felt a tinglish warm sensation on the path which it moved. After having managed to move his chakra to his right hand, he was certain that his chakra control was not bad.
Now that he had perfected all the requirements for his jutsu, it was time for him to try out the jutsu. Since Flow was just a foot away from him, he thought he would make the perfect medium for this jutsu. Without any waste of time, he began flashing through the handseals required. With every handseal he performed, he felt an aweful amount of chakra gather info his belly area. As he continued with his handseals, the chakra grew bigger and the sensation stronger. On the last handseals, he extended out his chakra through Flow's cerebral nervous system. If what he did was successful, Flow's chakra flow would disturbed. And he would begin to feel a little dizzy, since it was Terry's first try, and the jutsu wasn't yet at its highest peak.
Should Flow not feel any effect of the jutsu, Terry would begin from the top. This time he went very very slow on the handseal, thinking that maybe going fast did not give him a chance to gather enough chakra. Like on his first attempt he would, forcefully push chakra into Flow's cerebrum, attempting to channel false information into his brain and cause him to see the ground spinning. If Terry saw any signs of Flow being under the effects of the jutsu, he would let him feel the effect, then release him from it to give him a chance to train what he came here to train. "How did that feel?" he asked his teammate, smiling as always.
Kidori was getting impatient and was sick of talking about genjutsu. He moved to a clear place were his friends were not entirely visible to him, he stopped at a swamp to begin his training.
30TP Suiton – Teppodama
Rank: "C" Rank Skill: NinJutsu Effect: Allows a user to shoot a ball of water out of their mouth. Special: "Handseals" Drawback: --- Description: The Teppodama is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does some hand seals which then causes a a big ball of water to come from the users mouth and then hit their target. Limit: Water Release
Kidori, he had grown a lot from his last training, but he still had a long way to go before he could be considered strong. If he wanted to keep moving up he had to train hard and learn new jutsus, and that was exactly why he was there. This new jusu was not as high of a rank as the previous jutsu, being a C-rank jutsu, but Kidori took it no less serious. He knew that it would not mean that it would be easy by any means, be he was ready to continue his journey forward.
Kidori stood on top of the water, preparing himself for his training. As always, his first step in learning his jutsu’s was to try them out first, to test where his strengths and weaknesses were. He planted his feet and began to gather his chakra. This jutsu was a bit different; he was not gathering the suiton chakra to his hands, but instead to his mouth. This was new to kidori and he was not sure exactly how well he would be able to do it As he finished gathering the chakra to his mouth, he performed the hand seals and released all of the chakra he had gathered from his mouth. Instead of a ball of water shooting out of his mouth, there was only a small jet of water that left his mouth. It was low pressure and not even close to the power that would be needed for this jutsu.
He sat down on the water, as always, to think about what had gone wrong with his jutsu and what could be done to perform it correctly. The first thing he needed to work on was the chakra and the power needed for the jutsu. He could worry about anything after the jutsu leaves his body after he had figured those things out. One of the biggest troubles he had had was the gathering of the chakra to his mouth. He needed to work on the ability to move the chakra there while avoiding loss of chakra and retaining the power. After that he needed to figure out why his chakra had come out of him at such a weak level, he needed find a way to take that chakra to the next level that is required for the power of the jutsu. He needed to find a way to increase the power behind the attack, it had seemed to him like the chakra had not become dense enough or large enough to create the desired level of power.
At that moment he realized the answer to his power problem. As long as he could get the chakra to his mouth, he knew how to increase its power. The chakra needed to be worked, compressed, and chakra must be added as you do so. You must allow the power to grow larger and larger until you are no longer able to hold the power within yourself any longer. You must then convert it to water right before you release the powerful force you have gathered within yourself.
Kidori stood up and readied himself. The first thing he needed to do was work on concentrating his chakra to his mouth and convert it into suiton chakra. He understood how this was done, but he was having trouble efficiently concentrating it in his mouth without the loss of a large amount of chakra. To use this jutsu, he would need to be able to collect and release a large amount of chakra from his mouth. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, relaxing himself, before he drew upon his chakra. He carefully focused on concentrating the chakra in his mouth. It worked, but it was slow and tedious at the moment, but he knew all he needed was some practice.
After practicing his ability to concentrate his chakra in his mouth for a while, he felt confident in his ability, and decided that he would try to use the technique once more. He reached deep down within himself and began collecting chakra, converting it into suiton chakra, and then concentrating it into his mouth. This time, he used part of his internal chakra to knead the chakra. He added in more chakra as he did so while at the same time compressing it within his mouth. It quickly gained pressure until he could no longer hold it in. He performed the seals, converted the chakra in his mouth into water, and then released the chakra. A high pressure jet of water flew from his mouth this time. It lacked control but it defiantly had the required power.
Having been able to learn and understand the chakra and power needed for the jutsu, in the previous step of his training, all he needed now was to be able to control it and shape it. He planted his feet, concentrated the chakra to his mouth, built up the pressure, and then released the water from his mouth. This time, however, he tried his best to control it, to shape it into a ball of water. As the water was released, he was able to form the desired shape, but it only lasted a few seconds before the control was lost and the water lost its shape, falling back into the water around it.
He sat down and analyzed his failure. For some reason creating an even layer of chakra around the ball was not able to contain the power this time. The power of the jutsu had pushed though the layer of chakra surrounding the jutsu and had broken through it. He closed his eyes and pictured what had happened, studying and analyzing the jutsu. It seemed the chakra had broken through the containing chakra at the front of the jutsu. He realized that this jutsu must be a bit different than the water dragon, in the way that the power of this jutsu had been more concentrated in his jutsu, and the power had been held in primarily the front of this jutsu where it would come in contact with a target. That was where the problem was in the previous technique, he needed to concentrate more chakra to the front of the jutsu to maintain the control over the extra power. He would need to shift more of the chakra to the front where it was needed and less to the back where it wasn’t.
Kidori stood back up and began to concentrate and build the power of the chakra in his mouth. It reached the point that he could no longer hold it in, he performed the seals, converted the chakra to water, and then released it into the jutsu. This time, he created the shape of the jutsu but created a thinner layer of chakra around the front and less in the back of the jutsu. The jutsu erupted from his mouth forming into the ball of water. This time, however, with the new control the jutsu did not falter. The stabilization of the jutsu, on the other hand, still needed to be worked on.
Now that he had the control correct, he decided to add the stabilization effect. For this he decided to use the same method as he had in his previous training. He would make the chakra quickly spin around the jutsu to keep the shape stable all over. He drew up the chakra again, increased its power, and then executed the jutsu. The chakra spun around the water and the control stayed constant as it flew over the water in front of him. It seemed to have worked perfectly, with no needed alterations from his original method, which only saved him time in the long run. The jutsu was coming along, but it was still not done.
Now that Kidori had learned how to harness the power and form and maintain the shape of the jutsu, the only thing left was to learn how to hit a specific target. He was hoping this would go as well as his stabilization technique had and not need any alterations. Once he learned this part of the jutsu, and could hit a target, the jutsu would be as good as done. He planned to use the same method of controlling the jutsu as he had in his previous training. He would apply chakra on all sides of the jutsu to maintain complete control over its course.
He planted his feet, drew up and concentrated his chakra, and then allowed the pressure to build to the full power before he executed the jutsu. The ball of water shot out of his mouth, shaped by kidori’s control and with the spinning chakra flowing around the jutsu. The jutsu flew at the tree on the edge of the water, which had become its intended target. He used his chakra on all sides to guide it towards its mark. It flew right for the tree, just as the water dragon had done, and smashed into the tree. A wall of water exploded and then fell back down to the ground around the collision point.
As the water cleared, it was clear that the jutsu had not had its intended effect. The tree that it had hit remained standing, only slightly damaged where it had been hit by the jutsu. He already knew what the problem had been. He had felt a change at the last second in the structure of the jutsu, but had not realized that it would play such a large part in the final outcome. In the final moments of the jutsu, he had made a slight alteration in the trajectory and it had disrupted the spin of the outer chakra. This had allowed for a moment of instability that had caused a large loss of power in the jutsu. He sat down, on the water, and began to devise a solution to his newest problem.
The solution came to him after sitting for a while, imagining the disruption of the chakra that had occurred. The spinning had been interrupted by the outside chakra being applied to the jutsu, so the solution resided in the outside force. After realizing that point, the solution became obvious to him. The chakra used to control the flight of the jutsu also needed to be spinning, parallel and at the same speed and direction as the chakra on the outside of the jutsu. This would allow for the spinning to mesh together without disrupting the spin, and like a screw in wood, the jutsu would still move in a straight line even with a spin to it. Kidori assumed this had not been a problem in his previous jutsu, because it had had even chakra all around it, unlike this jutsu. The weak points in this jutsu were what had caused the problem in the disruption.
He stood up and planted his feet once again. After all the preparation, he executed the jutsu, targeting the same tree as he had the last time. He concentrated on spinning the controlling chakra as it flew away from him, to prevent the disruption from happening again. It seemed to be working, as the jutsu remained stable as it flew over the water and yet again met its target. Once the water had fallen away this time, the tree had a signification hole punched into it, and it began to fall over, crashing to the ground. His idea had once again been correct, completing the jutsu and furthering his own knowledge once again.
