Moving around a little in the noodles till she could climb out herself, she hadn't honestly even noticed that her nose had been broken. The noseblood, definitely.. "Feels just fine to be honest. Though I must admit that she would likely beat me every time. That girl packed a punch."
Yoshi said, groaning softly. as she stretched herself out, feeling a little worn by their little sparring match. Adjusting her clothes so that it was all properly in place, she shook her head a little, looking to the other team. A couple of moments were spent, with an apology being given for the harsh strike to the face. Otherwise, the coupled seemed like a genuinely sweet one, and as they went back onto the beam to strike down new challengers, Yoshi was contemplating the suggestion from Ryosuke.
"Actually, I am planning to cook us a meal tonight. So I was hoping we could get something light, like takeout, and go to the music stages. I'd like to play you a song, you see."
Smiling warmly to Ryosuke, the two of them headed for the dining area of the festival. There was plenty of food to be had. The girl was rather indecisive when it came to food. Most of it smelled absolutely delicious, and she would've probably liked to have a little bit of everything. Regardless, she ended up settling for a takeout box with seafood and rice. There was some shrimp, octopus and fish pieces in there along with wild rice. A bit of soysauce and the meal was complete. Additionally buying a bottled soda, she was casually walking across the festival grounds, poking her food for perfect bites with a pair of chopsticks. The guitar was once again over her shoulders, as she was heading into the direction of the music. There was a stage set up, with speakers and everything so that musicians could get up there and give it everything they had. In front of the stage there were several blue plastic chairs, so that people could sit there and enjoy the music. It was on one of these chairs, that the girl got him situated, holding onto what little remained of her food after their little walk. There was a song that she had been writing on, that she wanted him to hear. So as soon as the stage appeared to be open, she was taking the opportunity. Plugging in the guitar, and situating herself on the stage she pointed at Ryosuke.
"This one goes out to someone special to me. I hope you'll all enjoy."
Then, taking a deep breath, battling a slight bit of stage freight, she started carefully stroking the strings on the bass. Unlike what it would've looked like she would be playing, the song was incredibly gentle. The overpowering aspect of the song was her voice. Keeping a complete control over the vocals, she was absolutely finding the groove of the music. The strenght of the voice was coming from a combination of techniques. First she was pulling in air, deep into her lungs, so that she could keep a constant or varied air flow through her vocal chords as she pleased. Afterwards, she was using the lessons she had gotten in singing to keep the tones as close to scale as she possibly could. It was .. beautiful to say the least.
Song!
Lyrics:I never thought that you would be the one to hold my heart
But you came around and you knocked me off the ground from the start
You put your arms around me
And I believe that it's easier for you to let me go
You put your arms around me and I'm home
How many times will you let me change my mind and turn around?
I can't decide if I'll let you save my life or if I'll drown
I hope that you see right through my walls
I hope that you catch me 'cause I'm already falling
I'll never let our love get so close
You put your arms around me and I'm home
The world is coming down on me and I can't find a reason to be loved
I never wanna leave you but I can't make you bleed if I'm alone
You put your arms around me
And I believe that it's easier for you to let me go...
I hope that you see right through my walls
I hope that you catch me, 'cause I'm already falling
I'll never let our love get so close
You put your arms around me and I'm home
I try my best to never let you in to see the truth
And I've never opened up
I've never truly loved till you put your arms around me
And I believe that it's easier for you to let me go
I hope that you see right through my walls
I hope that you catch me, 'cause I'm already falling
I'll never let our love get so close
You put your arms around me and I'm home
You put your arms around me and I'm home
