By Naota Okuda walked through the streets of this strangely abandoned city. He wore his usual clothes, the white hakama that were loose and flowed as he walked. The white inner and blue outer kimono tucked into the hakama yet kept loos enough that they seemed to sag a bit. Around his waist tying it together was his white obi belt, it was tied tightly. The belt was double wrapped around his waist so that it was nice and snug, on his feet he wore blue toe socks, as for his shoes he wore simple straw sandals. Resting gently against his hip tucked into his belt was his Katana and Wakizashi, two things no Samurai should be without. His long red hair was tied up in a single ponytail located on the back of his skull, even when tied with a simple blue string it was still long enough to reach his waist, even slightly past it. Blue orbs for eyes searched the road; he wore simple leather vambraces for arm protection more against the elements than combat. His hands were tucked into their opposite’s Kimono sleeves, his left elbow resting on the hilt of his Katana. If one were to look at the young man as he walked, they would notice upon a closer inspection that his Hakama and blue Kimono were tattered near the ends, signs that he had seen many fights, and survived each encounter. Other than those items he’d brought he had nothing. No small knives or anything, his only weapons were his Katana and Wakizashi; he trusted them and they had yet to fail him. Even if they did fail him one day he would not live to see the results of such. Okuda stopped in the middle of an intersection, the sudden feeling of being watched, but he could see no one as far as he could tell…who could be watching the young Samurai in such a place as this? No one even knew he’d come here….

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects within the cone effect. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 120 meters plus 60 meters per class level. The duration of this technique is instantaneous. This technique may be negated. The cone of colored light created by the maelstrom affects the closest 4d6 creatures within the Jutsu’s area of effect. The maelstrom also has the following effects upon its targets, depending on the opponent's Class Level compared to the User. Creatures who are 2 Class Levels lower than the user become Unconscious for 4d6 rounds, blinded for 2d6+2 rounds, and then stunned for 3 rounds. In addition to this, it affects creatures by removing 2d4 movements for the duration of 2d6 hours. Creatures who are 1 Class Level lower than the user become Unconscious for 3d6 rounds, blinded for 1d6+1 rounds, and then stunned for 2 rounds. In addition to this, it affects creatures by removing 1d4 movements for the duration of 1d6 hours. Creatures whom are the same Class Level as the user become Unconscious for 2d4 rounds, blinded for 1d4 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round. Blinded creatures have the same penalties as those affected by Color Spray.
